It went well. He called early to make sure I was around, Arrived on time, Got right to work . I thought I had more wrong with my sprinklers but he pointed out most of my problem was lost pressure from a sprinkler that was completely broken. He fixed that and a few more heads and at a very fair price

Excellent job, contacted me immediately, setup an appt and was there on time.

Fairly straight forward procedure. Jeff arrived, went right for the problem area and immediately began working to wire-up the new controller. He took approximately one hour to install the controller, set all the required functionality, i.e. date,time, station watering times, etc. and walked the property to make certain that all of the watering stations worked properly. Outstanding job!!

Overall it was a refreshing experience to actually have someone show up on time, not overcharge and to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

They were fantastic. I found them on Angie’s List. The guy was wonderful; he was great. He was incredible. I spent $250. He told me truth about the yard, which I really appreciated. I thought he was very honest and ethical. He was very good. If I ever need sprinkler work done, I would use him again.

We have had this fellow work on our system twice for different reasons; he really knows sprinkler systems. We paid much less and show far better results than our neighbors who had similar work done by another company.

He showed up ontime, provided me with an estimate, and then immediately performed the services. Very nice and professional and tought me a thing or two about sprinkler systems. Overall -- very satisfied with Jeff. Would use him again, and will recommend him to my friends.

The job went very well. It was done very quickly and professionally.

The day before we were to go out of town for three weeks in August, I woke up and found that one zone in our sprinkler system had been stuck on overnight. I called and left messages at several different irrigation businesses, hoping to find someone who could come out on short notice so the yard wouldn't die while we were out. Austin Irrigation Mgmt called back within 10 minutes. The technician said he was in a nearby neighborhood and could drop by to take a look. Five minutes later he was on our doorstep! The tech found a stuck mechanical valve which he unstuck. He said if it failed again, then we would need to replace it. He then checked the remainder of the other zones in the system, made a few adjustments, and pronounced everything else fine. We were changed for a full hour of labor. When we got back from our vacation, the grass was still green and our neighbor who was watching the house reported no issues.

Jeff Tucker was courteous, responsive, and both friendly and professional on the phone, so I was optimistic from the start. Somehow he then managed to exceed my already high expectations. He arrived promptly, assessed the situation, and mended things perfectly. He explained a bit about my system, the cause of the original problem, ways to prevent future issues, and even offered some tips for improving our overall sprinkler configuration. I signed up with Angie's List specifically to find someone to help with this job, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I went very well. The only reason I gave Jeff a B on punctuality was because he arrived about an hour outside the 2-hour window he'd given me but he did call about 1 hr and 45 minutes into the window to say he had problems on the prior job and was running late. Then it took him longer to get from that job to our house than he anticipated. I was worried we were going to get an estimate that involved digging trenches in our yard to find a leak and a big bill to fix it. Our system is 16 years old but he only suggested a new controller box, one new head to be added, and a few heads replaced for better coverage. We'll have him back later this month to do that work and I'm confident I'll be as satisfied as I was with his first visit. He gave me a lot of good information about how the system works and how to deal with some things on our own in the future if we're interested (which we are).

Although I am a bit late with this review it is necessary for me to convey the most earnest and glowing recommendation/review I have ever left on "Angie's List". I have been using Jeff Tucker at Austin Irrigation Services for four years. He is worth every bit of the hourly rate he charges. His work is as quick as it is equally effective. Jeff is everything you could hope for in the way of a outstanding technician as well as being a very nice man. He is prompt, honest and and performs his work with a level of pride you don't often find in a service provider. Jeff is good for his word (much like the old, solid, "gentleman's handshake" or promise). After having had the opposite experience with other companies, I can report NEVER having had Jeff falsely "padding" an invoice with charges for unnecessary or undone repairs/adjustments. Not knowing a great deal about lawn or flower bed irrigation, people are (I used to be) often subject to this immoral practice. In my opinion, a there are companies will do the "right thing" if the customer is paying attention, but it is the service providers that are honorable without any extra monitoring that are the companies worth noting and using repeatedly. These are the companies I value, search for AND to which I am loyal. The ONLY negative that I must confess is that Jeff's reputation now proceeds him to such an extent his services are in great demand. Unless it is yet another emergency due to the failure of my backflow preventer (for example), an appointment sometimes requires my patience while waiting several days until he can work me into his schedule. I CAN ASSURE YOU THOUGH, JEFF TUCKER IS WORTH THE WAIT!

Jeff came out and got us all fixed up. He charges by the hour, and the work he did for us clocked in at just under one hour. He tested all the zones, replaced the broken heads, and reset our timed program in compliance with this summer's water restrictions. He's now our sprinkler guy, and we'll call him any time there's a problem, and more regularly to inspect the system.

Very well. He identified and fixed the problem quickly and only charged $4 for the required parts. Very reasonable!

This is the second time we have had Jeff Tucker fine-tune our sprinkler system, and i am just as happy with him the second time as I was the first. He performed a routine inspection and made a number of corrections. Jeff also noticed that our system was set to run only once a week ( I think I accidentally did that ), so he set it to run the two days we are allotted. He made suggestions about a specific fertilizer and how and when to apply it. The last time he was here, perhaps two years ago, he fixed many problems that had accumulated over the system's 10 years. He was very attentive and informative, taking the time to explain everything i could do to help our lawn and plants. That initial service from him was somewhere around $125.00, I think, and well worth it. Our lawn made a full recovery. I am going to make a notation in my calendar to call him every spring and keep our plants and lawn healthy.

This was a very good experience. We had called and tried for a month to get someone to come out and replace and repair some of our sprinkler heads and we had no one call us back or if they did they didnt show up after scheduling with us. AIM called us back the evening, as we left a message in the morning, and we scheduled our time for 7:30 a.m. AIM showed up on time and we went over what was wrong and he got right on to his job. Replaced some heads, capped one head and even rebuilt one very questionable area that he informed me he didnt understand why they had built what they built. Took the time to make sure everything was correct and cleaned up everything. I will be calling him back for more work as we are doing work in the back yard and after we are complete I will call AIM to do any touch up work. Professional and easy to work with at a good price.

Jeff answered his phone at 8 pm when I called. He arrived when he said he would. He not only repaired our lawn irrigation system, he gave me excellent, insightful advice on how to make it run more efficiently, overall using less water, and having less run off.

I checked Angie's List for a well-recommended person/firm to inspect, repair, and service my sprinkler system. Jeff Tucker, Austin Irrigation Management, was highly recommended by many who had used his service. I called his office, and left word for him to call me. He returned my call that day, and set a date and time to check my system. He came when he said that he would. He was friendly, professional, and readily answered my questions. Jeff took care of my sprinkler system problems, suggested a better way to water my yard, and reset the controller for more efficient watering. He is thorough, doesn't waste any time, and his fee is reasonable. Before he left I rescheduled for him to do a winter check-up and service. I highly recommend him.

I called Jeff one morning, and at first told me that he was booked for the next 10 days. Then during our conversation we talked about what the issue is, and where I lived, and he told me he would try to fit me in that day since it wasn't a big job. I was really grateful considering it's been over 100 degrees, and we are in a horrible drought. Jeff showed up when he said he would, fixed the broken pipe, replaced a sprinkler head, and checked all other heads. He did a great job, and got it all done in 1 hr. I will absolutely call him for any other sprinkler issue I have. Great guy!

My three year old rain sensor was not working properly. Made an appointment for the following week. Jeff got an emergency call shortly before the appointment time and called to say he'd be running late, which I greatly appreciated. Once he showed up, he determined that the sensor was defective. When Jeff couldn't verify if the old sensor was eligible for a warrantied replacement, he replaced it with an upgraded one at no additional charge! Overall, the experience was GREAT. They definitely live up to all of their glowing reviews! Would gladly hire this business again for any irrigation system work, without hesitation.

Jeff was very helpful on the telephone when I first called, willing to talk me through how to possibly find the source of my problem. Always good! I called him to fix and complete the job that another company failed to do correctly (for more money). He's gets the job done and is very reasonable.

He was running a bit late the morning of our appointment, but called to alert me. He inspected my system, diagnosed the problems and got to work. Finished it all up in about 2 hours. He was professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I am completely satisfied and will definitely call him again when my sprinkler system needs service. I recommend him wholeheartedly to all.

It took a couple of weeks for our schedules to match up, but in mid-June Jeff came to evaluate the irrigation system at our home. I found him on Angie's List and was impressed with the many positive comments I read about him. They're all true! Jeff checked the system starting at the water meter and out to a couple of valves that were causing problems. A previous vendor had installed multi-strand wire to a couple of new valves. It is not rated for underground, so there was a short that was causing problems. Another vendor had just shut off one of the zones, and I realized it wasn't getting any water. Jeff also advised me to increase watering times in some of the larger zones so they would not dry out so fast. Jeff ran a test on all the zones, advised me to have a plumber check to be sure the main valve and the PRV to the irrigation system were functioning properly. A couple of days later I received a detailed estimate by email, along with a firm date and time for Jeff to come do the work. We corresponded a couple of times by email, and Jeff always responded promptly. Jeff showed up exactly on time and did the work. He used electronic equipment to locate all the valve boxes, including several that had been buried in the grass and one under a crushed granite walkway! Why landscapers cover these things up, I'll never know! He ran new wire to three of the valves and replaced two of the rotor heads. Then he ran a complete check on the system and adjusted the heads for optimum watering effectiveness. He completed the work, cleaned up and was on his way to his next job in the hot Texas sun! Jeff is very easy to work with. He responds to phone calls and emails, even though he is very busy during the day. If you send him an email, you'll get an answer within 24 hours because he takes care of returning calls and emails after he's put in a full day outside. He doesn't mind if you follow him around and watch every move he makes, something that is rare among service people these days. I've worked with a lot of people over the years, and I can honestly say that Jeff is one of the most professional and easy-going service providers I've ever known. He's on my "go-to" list for irrigation - I don't plan on using anyone else!

Jeff came out and did an estimate to fix a number of problems I had with my system. He fixed all of them at the price he quoted, and I was very pleased with the work. I had a broken sprinkler head a coule of months later and called on Jeff again. He explained how backed up he was and apologized that he could not get to my problem for a week. That was no problem since I just shut off the flow to that one head. Jeff came out actually earlier than he estimated, and the problem was solved. I appreciated his honesty regarding the timing at which he could respond.

Jeff was prompt in responding and very reliable. Since I made the appointment prior to my trip to Europe I appreciated his email reminder when back home. Jeff looked at the entire irrigation system (15 zones) tested it and replaced two rotors (I had on new rotor myself), repaired two leaks and rebuilt the valve( I had new valve material myself) at zone #14. There were also some heads which he unclogged and two leaks which he repaired. At the end he reprogrammed all 15 stations. Jeff was efficient and convinced with good job knowledge besides having a pleasant personality. I definitely will use him again.
