I have had Jeff back three times this summer to adjust and repair sprinkler heads and install a new Rainbird wifi controller for the sprinkler system. He is very professional and very fair. He won't try to talk you into doing work that isn't needed, and he gives you options. He is super busy, but well worth the wait to get on his schedule.

Jeff came quickly and did a really great job. He dug out the soil cleanly below the PVC, and glued in a connector over the punctured pipe. It was a little tricky because the puncture was right at the wall of the station valve's box where the pipe enters. The work took less than an hour. His price was amazing: $80 for the service call and just a few more dollars for parts and tax. Our project barely slowed down at all.

August, 2016: The weather has been brutal and it seems that many others are sharing my pain. Multiple zones in my irrigation system stopped working and my lawn is suffering badly. I called 4 different irrigation companies and even had a realtor friend check his network. Jeff was the only one who replied so even though it was 3 weeks before he could fit me in I grabbed the appointment. Jeff was extremely patient with my email questions about pricing and what to expect, which I really appreciated since I was not going to be able to get multiple quotes like I normally would when working with a new company. He gave me a 2 hour arrival window and arrived not only on time, but 10 minutes before the earliest time. He jumped right into work and identified the first issue literally within minutes - broken wires due to a new fence we had installed. After he fixed those he worked extremely hard trying to track down why 2 zones still weren't working. Those weren't such an easy fix, but he did come up with an alternate solution that I hope will work. Fingers crossed. I'm not completely fixed yet, but even at this point I highly recommend Jeff's company. I was dreading the bill, but he gave me a break on this first day of work since he wasn't able to fix it in one visit and I feel like I got great value for the cost! More importantly, I have confidence that he will get my other two zones fixed soon. January, 2017 update: Jeff fixed my last two zones in September, but I wanted to give it a few months before closing this review. I couldn’t be more pleased. Turns out those last two zones were a real challenge (no wonder my lawn guy told me to call a sprinkler professional!) and we thought we’d have to replace them with wireless components that would have cost over $1000 and wouldn’t be integrated into the main system. It was the front yard though so I had to get the sprinklers working again. Jeff answered all my questions about the two wireless options and pointed me to manuals and the manufacturer’s website so I could read up on the systems. I’m an engineer so I asked a LOT of questions. Also, with such a high cost I wanted to be sure of my choice. Before I could make a decision Jeff came back to me with a MUCH less expensive and very clever fix that allowed me to continue controlling those zones from the main system. The cost for this fix was so much less that I was even able to get a rain/freeze sensor at a total cost around $200 for the two zones & sensor. I have to give him credit for honesty because I was prepared to pay the higher cost, but he knew I didn’t love the solution so he kept thinking. The rain/freeze sensor he suggested is great. No more waking in the middle of the night to hear rain and trudging out to the garage to turn off the sprinklers. It’s all automatic! I was frustrated that no other sprinkler company bothered to return my call in August when I desperately needed help, but now I’m thankful it worked out that way and Jeff is my sprinkler guy for as long as I’m in Austin.

We would highly recommend Austin Irrigation Management! Jeff very quickly returned my email request for information regarding BPAT and then set and confirmed our appointment for the following week. Jeff arrived on time as promised, was very personable and got to work immediately. I received a receipt and copy of our submitted paperwork the next day. We weren't aware of this testing requirement but now know who we'll use every year, as needed! Very happy with Jeff's work and professionalism and will use him when we do some irrigation work later this year.

- We contacted Jeff by email and got an immediate response. - Before scheduling the appointment he provided all the details of the testing/ certification process and how we needed to be prepared. Including the cost of the job, which by the way was very competitive. - We could tell immediately that Jeff is an expert and very knowledgeable. While doing the testing, he provide good advice regarding our irrigation system. - It took him more time to do the job because he found out that the valve was broken, he needed to get another one and replace it. - The test was done successfully. - By the end of that day he email us the following documentation: An official copy of the Test and Maintenance Report. A copy of the Receipt for Filing Fee. A copy of your receipt for payment We will definitely hire him again, for any of our irrigation needs. Jeff provided a great service and showed honesty. Something that we value immensely!

The whole experience with Jeff was excellent. He scheduled us 3 days after our contact, and he arrived a little early. He pumped the water out of the valve box and tightened a loose bleeding screw on the valve. He also repositioned the tilt on a lawn spray head to hit the target area. Even though it wasn't a major job, I feel that Jeff is someone that we can trust for repairs. He gave me some useful information about zone valves, and he seems to have a lot of experience.

I did not use his service but might use it in the future. He provided me with free estimates about improving my sprinkler system by replacing some sprinkler heads and installing the rain detect system. Thanks.

Jeff is a first-rate professional, and he understands irrigation systems down to the smallest detail. He was efficient, and very very effective. A most excellent provider. I appreciated his thoroughness and professionalism, all with a good sense of humor. I believe he undercharges for his fine service. I would highly recommend Jeff for lawn irrigation work. When I first called, I reached his voice mail. He returned my call before I had finished leaving a message. I had an urgent need to relocate an irrigation line, and he was able to fit me into his schedule. His estimate was very accurate, and the work was done very well. Jeff Tucker is amazing!!! He figured out in less than three minutes what the four previous repair people could not do. Our sprinkler system kept failing and also started itself when it was set to off; we've joked it was possessed. He checked the wires TO the system not just the system itself and this was the problem. No one else has ever done this. I'm happy to say Jeff wasn't electrocuted during this process because he discovered a hot grounding wire. Our system will be 10 years old on 10/14 and I expected him to say we needed a new circuit board or other numerous repairs but he repaired everything for only $136.00!!! We've used Jeff on numerous occasions to fix broken sprinklers, fix electrical issues with our sprinkler system, and cap off waterlines where watering is no longer necessary. He is always prompt, helpful and more than fair with his pricing. He also goes beyond the call of duty, checking on the operation of our system as a whole every time he's out. Great. This dude is very fast,accurate and pleasant to talk to. He explained everything in detail and did exactly what I asked him to do. He worked fast and charged just what he said he would. From now on this guy is my man for sprinklers!

Jeff was very professional. He arrived on time and in a reasonable amount of time found the electrical issue that was causing one of our stations to remain off. Another contractor had "fixed" a problem caused by our fence installer 3 years prior. Buy apparently his solution was to bury electrical wires with just electrical tape connecting them. So of course the tape failed eventually. Jeff from Austin Irrigation fixed it properly. Once that was fixed he also fixed a pipe that a tree installer had broken. We didn't notice that earlier because that section hadn't been working. Then he found 3 valves boxes we lost because we let grass cover them over. Finally I asked him to do a once over on the entire system to make sure the rest of the stations were functioning properly. He found one sprinkler head that wasn't popping up but couldn't really find the reason for it. He switched that out and it began working. He adjusted watering times so that we would use a method that allows the water to soak in better, wasting less to runoff. And finally I showed him a marshy spot in our front yard and upon further inspection he found (and fixed) a pipe that had probably been cracked since the house was built. I was very impressed with his knowledge and ability to find and correct issues. He was super professional and performed all work the right way. You get what you pay for people! He was priced appropriately. I will definitely call him again if we have any other irrigation needs.

This was a house that we just purchased. It has an old irrigation system that has not been maintained for a few years. Jeff was great at identifying the problems and fixing them. His skill at using the valve locator tool was wonderful! He is a good problem solver. I liked his professionalism and how well he communicated throughout each step in the process.

Jeff was great. He was very professional and really seemed passionate about his work. He spent about an hour and a half on our system to thoroughly adjust it and took the time to educate us on how it is supposed to work. We've already recommended him to several friends, and will use him again.

The owner surely knew what he was doing. He idenified exactly what I wanted done and he went right to work. Before he repaired a bad valve controller, he showed me the faulty part and explained how it worked. Jeff knows his business.

Jeff was very nice, arrived on time, explained everything he was about to do and then checked it when he was finished.

Fix was made to broken sprinkler as requested. Next we walked the yard together and talked about problem areas and Jeff was able to fix some areas which were not getting good coverage by replacing sprinkler heads. Most importantly, Jeff discovered a sprinkler was not rotating properly which explained why I was having to hand water certain areas. Very happy with results as Jeff was very knowledgeable and educated me on sprinklers.

We had been trying to get an irrigation company out to our house to fix our sprinklers. We just moved in and there were several dead spots. I called/emailed several companies and never heard back from anyone. Jeff returned my email and we set up an appointment for the following week because he was quite busy. Jeff showed up when he said he would and solved our sprinkler issues. He spent a good deal of time and explained everything to me. Our water sensor was not working and John suggested we install a new wireless sensor. He told me what it would cost and I agreed. He made a note on our invoice for himself so he would remember. He didn't have one with him and said it would be a couple of weeks based on his schedule. I was very happy with Jeff's services and his prices. Two weeks later I emailed Jeff because I had not heard from him about installing our water sensor. He apologized and said that he missed his note and would not be able to make it out for 2 weeks. That would have made our wait for the water sensor 4 weeks long. I told Jeff that was too long and I would give him a review for his services on Angie's list that reflected the great quality of work but not so great follow up. He then emailed back that he had a cancellation and could fit me in the next day. I turned him down, I don't want to have to try to give my business to people. Jeff does great quality work but would not use him again.

Perfect. I had 3 other providers come out and try to figure out what was going on who had failed...Jeff diagnosed the problem quickly. He was extremely knowledgeable and went ahead and checked out the whole system was he was out here. He made some great recommendations on how to set up customized watering schedule for my lawn. Will definitely call him again if we run into other issues with our sprinkler.

Jeff fit us in on short notice to fix a leaking cutoff valve. He also fixed a sprinkler station that had been malfunctioning for quite awhile. I had put off getting it fixed because I was afraid it would be considerable trouble and expense. Jeff was able to locate the well-hidden valve with almost no disturbance to the yard, had the part required on-hand, and fixed the problem quickly. All for little more than a hundred bucks. Engaging personally, highly effective as a technician and business proprietor. nothing but good things to say about my interactions with Jeff today.
