The experience went well. He was out a total of three time (as needed and and agreed upon). I didn't pay him until he was done. He provided a written estimate to start with and came in under. Very satisfied.

Jeff did a great job. He was very professional during this service. He not only inspected my sprinkler system and fix a few items, but he also took the time to point out a few important details surrounding my system which should help with pro-active maintenance and overall lawn care. I would absolutely recommend Jeff.

Jeff is about the nicest guy you could ever want to do business with and on top of that, his prices are fair. He got here early, calling beforehand to be sure it was ok. First he did everything he could to try and make the old unit work before making us invest in the new one. We did finally have to do that but we figured we would. He did not gouge us on the cost of that. Then he checked the entire system, unclogging and adjusting all of the heads to be sure they were in good working order, also for best coverage. He double checked our rain sensor. Finally he programmed the zones for the correct times, (we have several different types of sprinkler heads), explaining how they put out different amounts of water per hour. Greatly appreciated!! Recommend him highly.

Being new to Texas and inexperienced with irrigation systems, we were in dire need of an expert when our system began using much larger amounts of water. Jeff was our answer! He patiently explained how the control panel was set up, checked and adjusted the system, replaced 2 heads, and removed 2 spray heads that were no longer needed. Jeff was pleasant, punctual, and reasonably priced. He was able to give common sense advice and cheerfully answered all questions. We would definitely use Jeff again- his business is now listed in our 'services' phonebook!

I called Jeff and left a message for him. Within an hour, he returned my call and set up an appointment for the next day. He was very friendly and professional on the phone, and he gave me a solid estimate for the work. He arrived on time, inspected the source of the leak and within 45 minutes of arriving, he had repaired the leak. (There was a broken lateral pipe near the back flow preventer which he patched and sealed.) Once he completed the repair, he examined the rest of the system, made some minor tweaks to the sprinklers and recommended that I replace a half dozen sprinkler heads. He suggested that I was capable of replacing these heads -- thereby saving me another $75 and giving me a good home-improvement project!

Jeff came out on two different occassions to evaluate my sprinker system, make suggestions for improvement, and to do repairs.

The problem started when a sprinkler station wouldn't cycle off; in keeping with Murphy's Law, it was on Sunday morning. Jeff responded to my panic call when I was unable to turn off the system at the curb (it was underwater) and arrived right away to turn off the valve. Then he returned the following Thursday to repair the system. He was efficient, obviously experienced (25 years) and qualified to find the problem?and polite. He called when the appointment time had to be adjusted and stayed until it was taken care of (after 6 p.m.).

arrived at the agreed upon time and went about his job in a most professional and cheerful manner. He easily coped with all of the problems that could be expected of a 16 year old system and a cut wire problem that was not expected. Jeff was easy to work with and I would use his services again and recommend him to others.

I wanted my system inspected and tuned-up for the year. Jeff took the time to thoroughly explain my sprinkler system to me in addition to some minor adjustments that he made to my system. Jeff is a true professional. He is dependable and thorough. Easy to communicate with and trustworthy.

Jeff returned my call in the evening and tends to do his calling then. He set up an appointment a few days out and even called back a couple of days later to reschedule it to a time I had mentioned would work better for me. He arrived early and went to work. He fixed the mystery wet spot in the lawn and then went on to check my whole system, replacing a head and fixing some directional issues. He was very professional and speedy. I will call again when my system needs another tune-up.

Spent 2 hours thoroughly checking and repairing system. Jeff monitored and confirmed that the system was functioning properly after the repairs before he completed the job. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and an overall nice guy!

The cold winter created a leak in my irrigation systems's backflow unit. I called one repair company that said it needed to be replaced at a cost of $600. I found Jeff on Angie's List and called him. I told him I thought my backflow system needed to be replaced. He quoted me a much better price for the replacement. He was very courteous -- made sure he had the correct spelling of my name, referred to me by name, etc. Jeff scheduled me fairly quickly, just a few days after my call. He called ahead and arrived on time. After looking at the backflow system, he determined that he might be able to fix it rather than replace it. He spent about 15 minutes working on it and was able to fix it. Jeff saved me literally hundreds of dollars by fixing the unit rather than replacing it. He also performed a system diagnostic, checking and optimizing all heads. I highly recommend Jeff and Austin Irrigation Management. Not only did he save me a bunch of money, but he's one of the most professional contractors I've met.

I discovered a leak in the front yard. I found Jeff here on Angie's List and gave him a call. We set an appointment for him to check it out the next day. Although all I originally wanted done was to get a leak fixed, Jeff reviewed my approximately 10 year old sprinkler system setup and discovered I needed a back-flow prevention valve. He said he would not be able to fix my leak until the valve was installed so that the system was up to code. We agreed he should install the back-flow prevention device and then fix the leak. He had some concerns of digging in the vicinity of the underground utility lines. So he arranged with the city for the utility lines to be marked and flagged within a few days. Then, after delays of a couple of weeks (due to the rainy weather), Jeff arrived promptly and began to dig to install the back-flow prevention device. Within minutes he discovered an old unmarked cable in the area where he was going to install the valve, but rather than cut it, he was able to move it out of the way in order to continue. After successfully installing the back-flow prevention valve, he quickly determined the cause of the leak (at a coupling) and made the necessary repairs. However, we determined there was still yet another previously undetected leak in the shut-off valve, so it needed to be replaced as well. He also fixed a broken sprinkler head and replaced a soaker valve. After the repairs, he helped adjust the spray patterns for optimal coverage. My original goal was just to have a leak repaired, but with an older sprinkler system, it ended up being a bit more complicated than that. At least I know all of the leaks are fixed and my system is ready to go for another season. Jeff was very courteous and provided thorough explanations on what needed to be done. I feel he provided excellent service for a fair price. I am very satisfied with the quality of his work, and would highly recommend his services to the rest of the Angie?s List community.

Jeff Tucker is wonderful. On Friday, 1/22/10, I woke up to a flood in my front yard. City personnel came out to shut off water at the meter but couldn't determine how to shut off the sprinkler system. I called Austin Irrigation Mgmt. after finding it on Angie's List. Jeff was at my house within 30 minutes of my call (he said it was an emergency if I had no water to my house and I agreed)! He was able to shut off water to the sprinkler system so water to my house could be turned back on. The ground was so saturated he couldn't fix the problem that day, but told me he'd return the following Tuesday and fix the leak. On Tuesday, he arrived early and had everything back in working order within 1.5 hours. Cost included $75 for the initial service call and $125 for the sprinkler line fix. Jeff was thorough and professional. I'm definitely calling him again for any sprinkler system problems!

Finding a thin sheet of ice on my driveway and suspecting a possible leak, I searched Angie's List for a local, well-rated lawn irrigation system services provider. Jeff answered my call personally and agreed to meet me at my home within an hour. He quickly determined the ice had been caused by a faulty battery in the timer/controller and not a leak, which was a relief. He also took the time to check the entire system and replace/repair a couple of faulty spray heads. Most impressive though was the care that Jeff took in explaining what he was doing, what to look out for, and how to properly monitor and maintain the system. He went that extra mile to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Highly recommended.

He was professional, responsive and punctual. He also talked to me about me not watering enough and told about a better system. He had another appointment but he still gave me plenty of time and answered all my questions.

After being stood up by three previous companies, I called Jeff on a friend's recommendation. He scheduled us quickly. He called an hour before his arrival time to say he was going to be slightly delayed. I appreciated his thoughtfulness of my schedule. He arrived at the time he said he would. He was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem almost immediately upon arrival, then checked out the rest of the system making adjustments as needed. He did a great job. Jeff first rescued me about a year ago when our back-flow preventer decided to "blow", sending water at a very high pressure straight down (washing away all topsoil). Even though the valve and pipes were infested with ant nests under the tape he unwrapped it all, fixed the problem, rid the unit of ants and rewrapped it. Since then, he has been consistently accurate, dependable and reasonable anytime our irrigation system was in need of attention, no matter how trivial. What has prompted me to add him to Angie's list though, was his last act of professionalism and thoughtfulness. It appears that due to whatever...we had approximately 70 bad seals in the heads of our irrigation units. After the units watered, the heads were remaining "popped" up! While Jeff diagnosed the problem and gave me something to try for a bandaid, it became apparent that the problem was going to have to be addressed. He estimated that to change out the heads it would take "X" hours...even after I approved the expenditure, he took the initiative to contact the manufacturer and inquire as to their history in regard to this particular problem. They acknowledged the faulty seals and sent him 100 of them free of charge! Now, as we all know, a lot of service providers out there would have taken those free seals as a bonus to their own initiative and frankly I can understand that, somewhat. But, not Jeff. He has the kind of integrity that we rarely see. Jeff emailed me with news of his unexpected success and scheduled a date on which to switch them out. The charge? His hourly fee ONLY. How often does that happen? I can't recommend him enough. He is one of the most honest and hard working men I have had the good fortune to engage. He believes in providing superior service and does.
