Description of Work: I have used Mustang Movers twice. The first was for removing my household effects from storage and transferring them to my garage. They were professional, taking care with my household goods and were very good at arranging and storing them in my garage. This work was done in July 2011 and it was miserably hot that day. Although not originally part of the moving request, they were also kind enough to load an entire bedroom set (bed frame, vanity table, mirror, and dresser) into my son's pick-up with no increase in cost. The guys were great to work with. This work took several hours and was approximately $385 The second time was in September 2011 and was to pick up 8 boxed chairs from my sister's home in Round Rock, pick up a a full size sofa. a love seat, a slate coffee table, and two end tables from a furniture store and deliver all items to my home in South Austin. Again, the guys did a great job, handling everything very carefully, and placing everything exactly where I wanted. This work cost approximately $200. Whenever I require moving, I plan on using Mustang Movers again.

Description of Work: We had an excellent experiance with Mustang Movers. Matt and DJ were professional and stayed to get the job done rught. It took 8 hours to pack our house but we had no breakage. We required an extra stop at a consignment store . Crating and extra care was given to our scuptures. The final boxes were moved in the dark. They were pleasant and professional throughout. The only problem was in the estimate which was not communicated accuratly, our new house was listed as a single story when it is a three story. The final adjusted price was in line with our other estimates. We would reccomend Mustang and particularly Matt and D J .

I would definitely use them again. The woman who helped me decide how to plan for time for the move, also helped save me money re packing lamps, etc.

Description of Work: Mustang Moving has moved household objects for us several times, from storage into our home, from our old home to our new home, and from our home into storage. The price is very competitive for efficient, competent service. The owner is also the scheduler, and she is responsive, honest and professional. The work crews have arrived on time, are polite, cheerful, energetic, honest and professional from beginning to end even with heavy loads on the most brutally hot days. Work crew leaders have been highly motivated individuals who interacted professionally with us and with the crew to get the job done to our satisfaction and to resolve any unexpected issues that will occur in a big move. Mustang Moving has done an excellent job packing and moving china, crystal, drinking glasses, etc. It is important to discuss in advance how such things as art or glass are to be wrapped and handled, and it may be necessary or advisable to move such objects yourself, before the primary move. If you are using the full-packing service (rather than the purely moving service for boxes that you pack yourself) , it is also advisable to consider and discuss in advance whether you want your drawer contents emptied and packed into boxes, or simply wrapped and moved as part of a resultingly-heavier chest of drawers - which may or may not involve more wear-and-tear on your stairs and furniture. We definitely would, and no-doubt will, use the services of Mustang Movers again.

Description of Work: We have moved many times, so we know what matters to us. While very polite, they would smile and say that they were complying with our requests to wrap our wood furniture, but when we looked into the truck, we saw that the items were not wrapped. Miguel and Shawn were pleasant to be around, and again, very polite. We had been told to expect them between 8 and 8:30. At 9 a.m. no one had called or arrived so I called. They said they had some trouble with a truck, hence the delay. They finally arrived at 10:15...with just one man and the company owner. Finally a second mover arrived and the two finished the job.

Description of Work: Perfect! Just what we needed. Our problem was to move the contents of a 10'x15' storage unit from one facility (whose rent had skyrocketed) to another....about 5 miles. Both units were on the 3rd floor of their respective facilities. Apple gave us a time slot between 10AM and noon. They called about 11:30AM and met us at the storage unit right at noon. We had done some prep, moving a few smaller delicate objects to our house. Apple showed up with two friendly, polite, muscular young men and a truck pulling a trailer. The movers were careful, but very quick. They had their trailer loaded and the "from" unit empty in one hour. On the "to" end they were very flexible and cooperative, setting up the storage units in the unit just the way we wanted them and moving everything else into the hall so we could photograph, catalog and sort it as we were putting it away in the new unit. They were done moving everything into position for us at the "to" end in under one hour. $275 total fee. My wife, being a rather outgoing person, also made a completely unsolicited contribution to their after work beverage fund...and was thanked graciously....:-) (My wife and I spent another ~3 hours sorting, photographing and putting stuff away. We were on our way home at 5PM)

Description of Work: I had a scheduling conflict and had to use another mover because I called late ahead of the move. However, I was very pleased with their phone service, quote, and responsiveness and would recommend them based on these merits.
