Apple Moving

Not as well as when Apple Moving ( since bought out by this company) moved us. There was little breakage but the interaction was not pleasant and the atmosphere was tense. Trailer used to haul goods scraped on both driveways. Unpacking was tough since labeling of boxes only said room destination with no clue of contents.

The entire crew of men were gentlemen and thoughtful throughout the whole process. Went above the call of duty to ensure we were pleased.

From beginning to end, Apple Moving was outstanding. Ken provided a very thorough inventory of items and assessment of the amount of goods and was responsive to all of my questions leading up to and on the day of the move itself. What was more impressive to me was the quality of the team that actually did the work on the day of the move. In the first 30 minutes it was clear that Apple does not skimp on the matter of hiring. The team of men were courteous, professional, and ever willing to help as I scampered to wrap up some of my packing (this was a PBO move). Equally as important to me was how they listened to my concerns and attended to the details. I have at least 7 large antique items with spindle legs and delicate features that could easily snap if you looked at them wrong. Each pieces was cared for as if it was their own grandmother making the request and every one of those pieces arrived in tact without damage (as did the whole household). I think companies can at times forget the significance of hiring well. The team members (Ruben E., Joe H., Andrew L., and Josh S.) were delightful and kind…and good at what they do. Clearly, Apple Moving understands that your company is only as good as your people!

They arrived about 8:45 AM packed at a fast pace and labelled the boxes regarding the destination rooms in the new location. There was little labelling of the boxes as to contents, mostly the room it came from. Some workers did put some contents information but most did not. Tonight I am in my living room trying to find sofa cushions that have been packed into one or two of 27 boxes labeled "living room" The packing went from 9AM until 2PM. The noise of the tape dispensers and plastic film wrap dispensing was augmented by two different smart phones playing rock music or "rap" at high volumes. I complained when one packer brought his vaping machine into our garage. It smelled sort of sweet. That employee told me I should have complained to him rather than his boss. Two other employees were quieter and quite eager to please the customer. I was relieved when the crew and the noise left for the day. The next day two pickups with trailers came to load and transport the belongings. They did a good job of loading and unloading the piano. One part of my wall system came crashing down as they assembled the system. The damage was minor. I have found no breakage of packed items. Deciding which box to open to find certain groups of items is a crap shoot. Unloading went from about 1 PM until about 2 or 3PM. They were helpful and courteous. I requested and received a 150 dollar price reduction for boxes I had provided and lawn furniture I moved myself after the estimate was made.

Overall, of the repeated times I used this company things went. However, the last move was not as smooth. But that last move was done at the busiest time of the year, in late summer. I think I would use them again but maybe only for moves scheduled at other parts of the year.

There were multiple problems with my move. The movers came and said they didn't know there was a garage. When I called the woman said all homes are understood to have a garage. One of the men left my house on foot after one hour. And when he was here he was not working hard at all. He never returned so we were left with 2 men despite our reservation for 3 men. The remaining man called someone and then told us we would be charged for 2 men for the remainder of the move. One of the remaining men told me the guy that left "smoked crack" and had been saying he wanted to leave from the beginning of the day. No attempts were made to get another man to complete our move as reserved. My husband had to help the crew complete the move to compensate for the lost man. All of our belongings did not fit on the truck so we have to get another move. I was not told this was a possibility. I was told there would be enough equipment and manpower for my move. I have never heard of a move of my size taking more than one trip. The move took more time and cost more money because we were down one man and all of our stuff from our modest 3br house was unable to fit on the truck provided. If they were supposed to be prepared for a 3br house they were not. It is only 1642 square foot house. Most of what was in our garage was in our house so it was not like it was more than expected. We had to leave our house with items that will fill several vans when we were paying to have all of our property moved. The move didn't finish until after midnight, 8 hours later. One guy stopped working for 45 minutes and my husband helped them put the bed back together and reassembled the crib by himself. The men were smoking throughout the move making our house smell like cigarettes. And the men asked my father for cigarettes during the move. When the men got to my house and were told what they had to do they acted put out and surprised that they were being asked to move things. They took twice as long as they should have getting from place to place because my husband got to the house in half the time. They sat in front of the house smoking in between stops. They had no sense of urgency like my previous movers had which made my hourly move cost more than it should have. Two of my furniture items was ruined and scratched. All of these things created an unprofessional and stressful move for us. The men did work hard but they were far from my expectations for professional movers. I have used apple moving at least 4 times and have never had a bad experience. As a loyal customer I expect more and deserve more for my loyalty and referrals I have made. This was not the caliber of movers and moving I expect from this company. They did send a second truck for free to move the remainder of my things, but they only gave me $100 for the difference in price for 2 man crew. They did not pay for the damage to my items and fence. And they stopped responding to my emails. Some people were helpful and professional, but clearly the management does not care about return customers. I would not recommend this inconsistent company to anyone who values their time and property.

They guys were professional and arrived on time. We were very pleased with them overall.

Aloha s service was exceptional.. They picked up the load the day before the closing on my house in Austin, stored it two days and met me at my new home in East Texas.on schedule, keeping me informed during their four hours in transit. There they put the furniture as directed and arranged the boxes for my greatest convenience. I couldn't have asked for better service. This all because David Perez didn't leave me stranded, even though he wasn't going to do the jobe

I was a happy customer. They had some problems due to the terrain around my new home -- but they were able to creatively solve all the issues. They worked hard to move my piano and didn't ding my piano up at all. I had 15-20 steps to get up to the front door and they did a nice job. They actually came out to my new home ahead of time to survey the terrain and they priced the job based on the difficulty in accessing my new home.

They did the job with the price promised. I would recommend them to friends and family.

These movers were wonderful! They were professional, kind, and extremely hard working. I've moved a lot in Dallas, and I've used several different moving companies. These guys are without a doubt the best movers you can get, especially for the affordable pricing. I will certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Joe and Ronnie worked very hard and did a great job on this move. Very professional and helpful. They exceeded our expectations. This was the 2nd time we moved with Apple Moving and will use them again in the future.

This move could have been difficult because furniture was being moved from an apartment in Northwest Austin to a home in Northwest Austin and to another home near Bastrop. I was very pleased with the help I received from the woman I spoke with in the Mustang Movers office. She was pleasant and competent so scheduling the move was simple. The price she quoted for the move was so much less than I expected that I had to ask twice to be sure the amount was for the entire move and with tax. The day of the move Daniel and Rene called first and arrived on time. They were both were very curteous and very cautious moving the furniture. All of the furniture was moved into the new locations with extreme care. I could not possibly have been more pleased with the whole experience.

The men arrived on time and were friendly and courteous during the move. I have moved three times recently and have had movers each time. I only required furniture and appliance to be moved from one location to the other. This review is strictly based on that. We packed, moved, and boxed everything else. Issue #1 They did not have the right tools to break down the beds. Some of the hex bolts were stripped and required a star driver to remove the hardware. My husband had to go buy a driver and ended up breaking down the beds himself. If this was the only issue, I would not have mentioned anything. Issue #2 There are black marks from either their truck or their dolly that ended up on my furniture. It looks like grease. I'm not sure I will be able to remove it from the furniture. Issue #3 They broke my deck box. It has a big crack in the side. They also bent the leg of my solid wood office desk. I'm not sure if there is any permanent damage to the desk yet. Issue #4 This is the big one. They left the adapter for my gas dryer hooked up to the gas pipe at my old house. I had to pay my plumber an extra $100 for a new one. Issue #5 I called to give them feedback before posting the review to give them a chance to make it right. I was told that the men dispatched for my move were new, they would be talked to, and they apologized. They didn't offer me anything even though they cost me an extra $100 on top of the $650 I already paid them to move my things. Bottom Line There are plenty of other moving companies out there that have excellent reviews. If I ever have to move again, I will not be using this company. Perhaps some better screening/training is needed before new movers are hired.

They brought 3 people for $125 an hour instead of two. They didn't move my wardrobe which I didn't like. Overall I wasn't that pleased with the service.

The young men, Joe and Rene showed up right on time and had the right tools for the job. They took pains to avoid damage to anything. The earlier people (Allied Van lines sub-contractors) who had assembled our beds had done so badly. These two rectified it when re-assembling.

They were really good. The guys were really friendly and worked hard. They stood out from the list on getting the job done.

The move required a large truck and a large trailer. Four men arrived around 9:00am, worked all day, finished around 8:00pm. We have two very large heavy pieces (armoire) upstairs as well as a king temperpedic mattress, also upstairs. It was terrifying for me, but the guys were extremely careful, made it downstairs with no mishaps. We have a baby grand, they carefully packed and moved it into the building to be stored, no problem. They were accommodating, respectful and professional. Our furnishings were moved into a large barn, next to our new home under construction. I will call Mustang movers and request the same crew to move us into the new house. Definitely recommend them every time.

The lead man was great however - he contacted the office and the driver departed to pick up the materials and returned in a reasonable timeframe with the proper items. Of the three men on the job, two were very good - professional and concerned with making sure my possessions arrived without damage. The third young man was not as concerned and I found when I opened the boxes he packed, everything was just thrown into the box. Not the same for boxes packed by the lead man. I was very concerned with several pieces of furniture and they took good care to protect and the furniture arrived without damage. Overall, I was happy with the service provided. The move was from Austin to Houston by the way.

Two movers moved us. Mathew gets an A+. Daniel gets a D-. Mathew took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had. He was always careful and considerate. Daniel disregarded every concern I had. He was not careful, and worse, he refused to respect our religion when it came to wearing foot covers in the home, which only consisted of him needing to do it for two mattresses and box springs, an ottoman and a chair. The rest of the contents of the house did not require foot covers as they did not walk on the carpets for those items. He was very rude during this discussion and rather than honor my request, he simply hurled the items into the room from a blanket he placed near the door. Mathew, seeing my distress, took care of them by himself, later, with foot covers. So I am torn as to how to review the company. Mathew was the epitome of professionalism. Daniel couldn't be bothered to even review the possibility of a better entrance into the building (which I wanted to show him).

This is the second time I've used Mustang Movers (and my second review). They came to my house to scope the size of the move and set a move date, and later I received an email containing the estimate. On the day of the move, after waiting for an hour for them to arrive, I called to find out what the hold-up was. They didn't have me on the schedule. She explained that I was supposed to confirm the estimate that I'd received via email, so it was my mistake. I'd assumed since we had a move date set and I didn't have a problem with the estimate that we were all set. Before I could go into major panic mode, however, she assured me she would assemble a team and get them there ASAP, which she did. I was SO VERY appreciative that they scrambled to get my move accomplished even though it was my error! I am moving again in a few months and fully intend to use Mustang a third time. I've moved a *lot* over the past 30 years, both locally and long distance, and I've never experienced a more superior company. Professional, courteous, and reliable. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Mustang. A++

Moved our home. It went very well. Nothing was broken and it was a very hard job as we had a few very heavy, fragile pieces.

This is the second time that I use this moving company and each time they have been great. They were very careful with my furniture and very accommodating when I asked them to move furniture around in my new home. They were very professional and respectful and I would certainly recommend their services.

From start to finish, Aloha Moving was professional in every way. The crew alerted me by phone that they were tied up in Austin morning traffic. When they arrived they made quick work of loading our 3 bedroom home household goods onto the truck. They were polite, friendly and careful with my home and my furnishings. Within 3.5 hours they were done and all my stuff was in my new house. They graciously moved a few things a second time to different rooms as we explored where to put what in the new house. I had no damage and I have no complaints. I would use these guys again without hesitation and highly recommend them to my fellow A-Listers. Believe all the positive reviews, these guys are the "real deal" in movers.
