Apple Moving

We received an estimate according to items to be moved. Received estimate online. They arrived on time, were very careful with our things, worked fast and were very personable. The two guys were: Ryan and Mike. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

They called while en route and arrived within 20 minutes of the scheduled time - they were very efficient and did a great job moving everything out of my house and then getting it to the new home. It was all done in under 3 hours and I had 40 stairs in my loft for them to carry everything down. They were very careful and really did an amazing job. They also were very careful to ensure they put the items in the right place in the new home so I would not have to carry things around and move them from room to room. They were great!

John (the owner), Clayton (crew supervisor) and Mustang Movers were incredible. I highly recommend them. My move was a series of starts & stops. The actual move came about 2+ months after John first estimated the cost. He provided some 'starter' boxes so I could do some purging before we even finalized the deal. When my residence sold it happened rather quickly and Mustang was there when I needed them. Clayton & has crew were fantastic. They packed, organized, loaded & unloaded everything. The second day was a long day with a 4 hour drive to the new location in the country. The downside was they couldn't set everything up as they normally would since the new location wasn't completely ready. They did what they could to facilitate my future unpacking. All in all a good experience. Great people!

They were good. They were timely in moving the belongings. I did notice some scratches on some of my belongings(which I have since contacted the company about). They were very polite, courteous, and the price was good.

The movers showed up on time, were courteous and knowledgeable about moving. They began immediately and only took a short lunch break. Overall, we were very pleased. Before the move, John and Nichole came out and did a visual of our home. This allowed them to identify our complete inventory and provide the movers with special instructions regarding how to protect our landscaping and our furniture. Great job.

Two guys arrived approximately on time. I showed them the desk and they said it would be impossible. They brought it into the house and said it would be impossible to get it past the turn in the stairs. They did get it past the turn in the stairs. Then it was going to be impossible to get it through the door to the office. With a couple of tries and talking about taking the door off the hinges (but without doing so) they got it into the study perfectly well. So, they did exactly the job that I needed but created such a lack of confidence along the way that the experience was not as good as it could have been. We have used Mustang Movers before and they were much more "can do." The job was completed to my satisfaction but the process was wearing.

Great! They came out to do and estimate instead of doing it on the computer or over the phone. This was important for us because we have heavy and/or over sized furniture, and I wanted to be sure the estimated cost was accurate. The cost was reasonable. The movers were polite and very careful. The wasn't a single nick, dent or scratch on either the walls or the furniture. It was the best moving experience I've ever had!

On time. Fast & no breakage. They charged an extra $40 when they got there for extra stuff (hard to think of every item when getting phone estimate) which was OK. Overall happy with job and will use again.

They are good movers. They are on time and reasonably careful with your things. We always pack our own things and have Apple move the furniture and boxes. They do it quickly and have only damaged a couple of things, both of which they had someone come out and fix; they were both pieces of furniture. I like their on-line form that you fill out with all the furniture you need moved, as well as boxes, etc, and then whether there are steps, distance from the door to street, etc, and they give you a quote on the cost. Usually two or three guys move us, and they are quick. They don't seem to worry too much about their own bodies, however, and I do feel bad for how their backs will be when they are middle-aged. They have always showed up at the appointed time or earlier (after calling first to make sure it is OK). They somehow squeeze their huge trailer into the parking lot or between parked cars on the street and use the usual blankets and protective devices for the furniture. We then drive to our new home, and they always seem to be there before us. All our moves have been in the Austin area. They unload equally quickly, asking where we want all the furniture. The times something broke they told us and had us talk to a person in their office right then to arrange for getting it fixed. They take their job seriously and do it quickly.

Great. I received a call on a Monday morning from an e-mail query I sent them the day before. Settled on a fair price for a small job, worked with me on scheduling, showed up exactly on time and quickly had my items from one garage to the other in under an hour.

Mustang Moving quoted 8 AM, but arrived around 8:45 AM. That wasn't really a big issue. The movers were very professional and expedient. My stuff was handled delicately and everything was taken care of.

I was really impressed with the professional manner in which the estimate was given, as well as the flexibility they build into their quotes based on how much or how little packing you end up doing on your own. I wanted to save some money on the original quote, so we tried to do as much packing as we could before the move day. This was great, we saved about $500 in the end because of this. I was also really impressed with their service record on Angie's list, as well as how well the employees are treated & rewarded for their quality work. All of these factors are what helped me to make my decision to choose Aloha. On the day of my move, Art, Mike, Tommy, Craig and Jason were punctual and were very quick-working! And not to mention friendly. I was still taking care of a few things for the first hour or two they were there, and I felt really comfortable with everyone. The whole move took, I think, about 7 hours. All of our furniture was moved with great care. It was incredible to see them moving our huge dresser up a tight townhouse staircase. When everything was done, we got our new smaller bill. It was great! The only problem I ended up noticing after all was said and done, and in the course of unpacking, is that my plants could've been more carefully packed as two of them were damaged. There was also a little bit of miscommunication on my end about what was supposed to be loaded and not loaded, but that ended up not being a big deal. I would recommend any other customers out there to make a list of what is staying and have it finalized before the movers arrive. I made one, but then I changed my mind about a few things after the fact, which didn't work out so well for us. It also would've helped me if I was better about labeling and putting aside items that were staying. Aloha did some of that for me, which was awesome. But besides all of that, everything was really top-notch and I would definitely hire them again. Oh, and one more cool thing - when we're finally done unpacking, we can take back the boxes we used and get a full refund for them! We're expecting to save another $150 once we do that. Pretty nice.

Apple supplied two men to load our truck. They arrived within 1/2 hour of the designated time. They were conscientious, efficient and did not dawdle. Both did their jobs well-one primarily loaded the truck, using every available nook and cranny. The other took most of the items out to the truck(by himself). Thy packed the truck very well and I was relieved that we were saving money by moving ourselves, but not sacrificing quality. By the way, the end result was no damaged items.

The movers were professional, efficient and pleasant. The did the job in a timely fashion without any distraction. We would definitely hire them again.

Jason, Craig and Lewis arrived on time, were fast and efficient and made this one of my easiest moves. I had a few changes before the move and both men I called at the office were pleasant and professional. Sorry I can't remember their names. I highly recommend Aloha.

The price was reasonable. The only thing was that they didn't send enough crew members so it ended up being a long day.

Flawless. These guys were professional and prepared. They had answers to several questions I had about the pieces to be moved and gave me good advice on some pieces I planned to move later myself.

For both moves, Aloha was always punctual, good communicators, hard-working, friendly, and efficient. They were careful with fragile items; they were flexible with requests; everything was picked up, driven, and unloaded successfully.

Very helpful when I called to inquire. Talked to both John and Nicole over the course of scheduling the move. They even offered suggestions for making the move less expensive, including not hiring them! On the day of the move, they called to say they were running late due to weather and traffic issues beyond their control. Most others would just leave you hanging. They arrived, got the stuff loaded up and headed out. By 4 P.M., John called to say the move was complete and that they didn't charge extra even though they were unable to park the truck within 100 feet of the door and had to walk farther than expected to unload the truck. Good people. Good job. I'll use them again.

Overall it went very well. The only possible glitches were that they came an hour earlier than I had originally been told, and then while unloading at the final location, I asked them to stack the boxes with labels facing outward but they didn't follow that request very well. They ultimately fixed everything to my satisfaction and were nice about it. They were also careful with my furniture which included some large old antique pieces (china cabinet, buffet), and I appreciated that.

Every aspect of their service was superior. My husband called to set up an appointment, but because I was in charge of the move, I had to call back with my list. They made this very easy. Jarrit asked me questions about different kinds of furnishings to determine whether I was moving them. It helped me focus on the items I needed to take, needed to store, and needed to leave. After he and I were satisfied with the list, he emailed me a copy of the bid. They were careful to point out that the price would change based on what we actually moved. They were good to their word on everything. My last bid before they came to the house was nearly $1,000. The last estimate before they arrived was about $700.00. After we went through the house before they started moving, the estimate was about $550 + the cost of packing. I want to emphasize that the changes were based on my adding or subtracting furniture and boxes to move. I added some items that I forgot and they added the time they spent moving items within the house and we came up with the total. I was very, VERY happy. They moved everything with care. They hated to see any of us pick up anything. They guys were amiable, funny and helpful. Nothing bothered them, including the fact that I wasn t quite ready for them to come.

We initially thought we'd have Aloha move only a few select items we couldn't possibly move ourselves (refrigerator, beds, my husband's work bench), so it was suggested we pay an hourly rate. As soon as the guys started moving stuff, we realized it was going to take far less time than expected, so we had them move all my husband's tools and some smaller furniture items as well. Even though it was 100 degrees outside, they ran from the truck to the house as they were loading, and then ran from the house to the truck as they were unloading. I've never seen anyone paid by the hour work so hard! On top of that, there was no damage whatsoever to our belongings or either house.

The movers arrived promptly on Monday morning after a long holiday weekend. They went over the list to be packed/moved and each of the 3 movers got busy packing the different areas. Packing went faster than expected. One mover had not realized that the contents of some filing cabinets needed to be packed, but when it was pointed out to him he quickly took care to pack them. They had us packed and the truck loaded within 3 hours. They loaded the truck so that they could unload items that needed to go to a storage unit and another house before unloading the remainder at the final destination. At each stop they took care to unload the items and place them exactly where we wanted them. After the moving was complete, they counted the boxes so that they would know the number that would need to be returned to them within two weeks. One scary thing that happened: When the movers were following us in their truck with trailer, the brakes (either on the truck or trailer) were not working properly. They would have rear ended us if we had not moved up after hearing them trying to stop.
