Company was delightful to work with over the phone. Movers were on time, respectful, and professional.

Mustang was great, from beginning to end. John came to our house to give us a quote (which they honored), and on the day of the move, three people packed our belongings, drove our things to our new house, and put everything exactly where we asked. They were polite and worked very hard to get the entire job done in one day. I've already recommended them to a friend.

Terrific job! A two-man crew showed up the day of the move with boxes and paper and packed up everything that I hadn't finished. They were super-fast workers who didn't slow down the entire day. I had printed room labels for the boxes, so when we arrived at my new home, they sorted the boxes into the correct rooms. They even set up my bed and re-attached the mirror to the bureau. Two very small negatives: some of the paint on the baseboards got a little scraped, and the guys didn't seem aware of the large "FRAGILE" labels on several of the boxes I'd packed myself. Some of those boxes ended up on the bottom of the stacks in the truck underneath heavier boxes, but even so nothing came out broken. They did good work.

Price was exactly as quoted over the phone, they showed up exactly when they said they would, and got everything moved quickly and without problems.

Excellent from start to finish. They showed up on time and were speedy. Literally, I frequently noted them "jogging" up the steps. They didn't damage any walls or floors and took care to protect everything in the house. I never saw any of them take a break for any reason (no phone calls, no smoke breaks), except when we brought them lunch. The unloading included placing an upright piano onto the second floor, up a spiral staircase, which was done very quickly, for the task at hand. They were moving items into a 5BR home, and the whole job from start (at the storage unit) to finish was only about 5.5 hours. They were a 3-man team and they were all very nice, friendly, and polite, as well as professional. THAT'S the way a move should be done! Amazing work ethic! And the price was unbelievably reasonable. They never expected a tip, and were gracious when they received one (which they whole-heartedly deserved)!

Overall, it was fantastic. Great staff and came in right at the estimate. My only complaints would be hearing the packers complain about all of our glassware (multiple times - none of your business how much I have, you are being paid to move and pack it) and not using wardrobe boxes for our clothes - instead, they were wrapped in dirty furniture pads, which is kind of gross. The box rental program is great and it was easy.

I called for estimates from other companies that advertised on TV. OUCH! Then I remembered Angie's list. Based in the ratings I called Mustang. This is a very courteous and professional company. The price quoted was much more reasonable that any other company I called. They arrrived within the window of time promised. The young men were pleasant and FAST. I was amazed at how quickly everything was out of the house. If I ever have to move anything again, I will call Mustang.

I picked them based on the fact that they were #1 on Angie's List at the time, #2 wasn't even close to them. I was so disappointed with my experience. As far as the competency in the move they were very good. What bothered me is cohersive business tactics. One of the two owners of the company called me the night before the move to ask me what address I was moving to. I gave them this information when I first contacted them and told them that. He told me he would have to charge me a 10% mileage fee. The move was all in the city of Austin, I don't know why they didn't tell me this when they gave me the estimate. He almost called me a liar and I almost called off the whole thing. He said they don't take that information in the beginning for the quote, they only take the address you are located at but not where you're moving to. I asked them if there were any other fees. He said specifically that because they were on Angie's List and because their rating was important he was going to waive the fee. I told them that was smart because I would have called off the move. The next morning they got my furniture on the truck then said they would have to charge me a 15% long walk fee from the apartment to the car. It was nearly the same distance from my apartment to their truck as it is to walk from a house front door to the driveway. Then I threatened to call off the move and they said because I was on Angie's List they would waive it. In retrospect I wish I would have called it off. I saw on the invoice that they could bill me later for fees so I felt like if I gave them a bad rating on Angie's List then they could bill me for extra fees. They should have been upfront about all the fees and how the company works. The movers were pleasant, competent and none of the furniture was damaged, but I just felt like I was being held hostage.

Second move I've done with Mustang in the last six months. This time I called Nicole to move a few large and heavy items out of town about 60 miles. The items, strangely enough, included a large chest of drawers, a cast iron bed (including disassembly and assembly), a16 foot, handmade wooden kayak (a piece of art unto itself), a 7 foot high, 500 pound metal sculpture, a large vintage 1950's glider/swing, and a few other things. Nicole said the bid would have to come from John. John attempted to call me a couple of hours later, but I was in a meeting. I called back about an hour later, got a voicemail, left him a message, but did not hear back from him that day or the next day. I called the number again on the third day, got the same voicemail, and once again could not reach him. Finally, later on that third day, I finally got another human being, and said I really needed the bid. Nicole called me back and asked me a series of questions. A couple of hours later, she called back with a bid. Admittedly, it was a little higher than I was expecting, and Nicole told me it was primarily because of the weight of the metal sculpture. I knew they would do a good job, so I accepted. We scheduled a day supposedly so John could supervise the potentially complex move. On the appointed day, the two movers showed up a few minutes late, but with no John. A little disappointing, as I had dealt with him before. Nonetheless, the two movers took good care of the stuff, and packed the oversized trailer well, creating a nice bed for the kayak with lots of moving blankets. I'm not sure, but I think the drivers may have gotten lost on the way to the destination...what should have been a maximum 90 minute drive turned into over two and a half hours, but the stuff arrived and was put where it belonged. Despite the minor speedbumps, this is a good company. The pricing part was probably as much my fault as theirs...I should have gotten a competitive bid, or at least waited for John to come out and do a visual inspection and bid...my guess is either would have reduced the price. But the important part was that the tricky, somewhat valuable stuff got there in good condition.

Mustang Moving was the biggest let down I have ever experienced. They came highly recommended to me from a family member, so I went with the recommendation and set the appointment. Everything was finalized such as day and time to meet but when it came to moving day, I called 30 minutes before my meet up time with the movers to confirm. I was informed by an employee that answered the phone that they did not have me in their system and that my move had not been scheduled. Remember, this was the day of my move, so you could only imagine the panic, stress, and anger that I was experiencing! I had booked with Nicole, one of the owners, Monday June 28th, which was 5 days prior to my moving day. The employee I spoke with on the phone on day of the move wanted to look into the scheduling issue and would call me back in a few minutes. About 10 minutes later, John (other owner) called me and said he wasn't sure what had happened but they would have some movers finish their a.m. move and would call me around 2:00 to do my move in the afternoon that very same day. Not very happy about doing the move kicking off 5 1/2 hours later than scheduled, but late is better than not at all. Well, no phone call at 2:00, nor at 3:00, nor at 4:00...in fact, I still haven't received a call 5 days later and even after leaving them 2 messages late in the afternoon of my moving day to call me. In fact, these guys still have not called and it's now Wednesday! Nothing like starting your 8:30 a.m. move with movers scheduled...then at 4:30 p.m. heading out alone because you finally realize that you have been stood up while you have been waiting around for a call. This is the most unprofessional organization I have ever had to deal with and I would highly recommend choosing an alternative company that cares about their customers and treats them with dignity. These guys didn't even have the decency to call and apologize for their mistake. Absolutely unbelievable!!! Well, update, I just called MUSTANG MOVING again from a different phone number and can you believe, they answered their phone! I spoke with Nicole and when I told her who I was, her response was "what's up"? Really, "what's up" is how she is greeting me after all this? She wouldn't talk to me and said she would have her husband, John call me to discuss. Amazingly, John still has not called and I really don't expect a return call. I have never posted anything negative on a site before, but these guys deserve this one. They need to take their heads out of the sand and own up to their mistakes. I pray that nobody has to deal with this type of unprofessional negligence from any type of organization...so if I can help any of you avoid the pitfall that I had to experience, I think it is well worth the posting. Best of luck in your next move, I do hope it is a successful journey.

I cannot say enough good things....lets start with the team who arrived ON TIME. Shawn and Jason; they were POLITE, PATIENT and PROFESSIONAL. I was obsessive "this is an antique, this is a Baker piece....on and on. They never lost their cool, they just kept reassuring me they would take care of our things and guess what THEY DID!!!!! About 30 minutes in I just let them go, they were methodical and careful. It was a hot day, the work was hard, Jason had a cast on his leg but you would never guessed the working conditions were less than desirable. KUDOS to Mustang Movers, thanks to Angie's Lister's who take the time to post and by all means USE MUSTANG MOVERS!

Mustang Moving was able to accommodate my needs in every way and at a very fair price. I needed to move some furniture and tools from two separate Plano locations to Austin. After delivering a load to Allen (just north of Plano) the crew came to the house and carefully loaded the furniture; including a grandfather clock. They then followed me to a rented storage facility in order to retrieve some tools. The crew returned to Austin on the same evening and met me at my house early the next morning. The delivery was as timely and professional as the remainder of the experience. I am exceptionally pleased with the professionalism of the crew, the care they took with my property, and the very fair price (exactly the same as the estimate) that I was charged. I give Mustang Moving my highest recommendation. If moving more property, I'll definitely use Mustang Moving.

The two movers were punctual, friendly, professional, and had a great attitude throughout the long day. They took great care of furniture and boxes, disassembled and reassembled bed, washer/dryer and TV at the destination, and even showed me how to fix up a few items not on the list. Movers kept to the binding quote, provided excellent service, and kept a tight schedule on the transit from Austin to Houston. While Aloha was not the cheapest option available, this company was definitely worth the extra money for peace of mind. I would recommend these movers to others.

Mustang Moving exceeded my expectations for an easy and efficient move. The assessment and appraisal was done onsite and very thorough. The move from Houston to Austin was accomplished in an efficient and safe manner. The price was very reasonable considering the distance, size, and man hours. All of the boxes have been unpacked and not a single item was damaged. I have made many moves and this is a first for me. I have great respect for the entire team at Mustang Moving. I would recommend them to anyone and would choose them again for myself.

Mustang give us an estimate that they stuck to, which was an important factor for us. We did our own packing, with Mustang supplying and delivering, on request, all the packing cartons we needed. The crew who carried out the move were very courteous and friendly, exceptionally careful in handling our furniture, and quite efficient. This was a very large move of a 20 year household where four boys had been raised, so it involved over 400 packing cartons and significant furniture. We could not have been happier with the job Mustang did.

Overall they were very good, they sent 3 guys to move me, they were very quick and for the most part careful w/ my things. One big downside, they damaged the hose on my washing machine, which was not noticed until it caused a large leak when I started the machine at the new apartment.

John came out to walk through our home to estimate the total cost of packing and moving and guaranteed in writing that final cost would not increase by more than 10% if extra work became necessary. The packers came in the day before. They were efficient and they used excellent packing techniques for all our fragile items. John paid particular attention to two rare framed pictures, to the extent that he personally carried them to our new home. That was "above and beyond!" The loading went very well. The unloading was done quickly and carefully. And after unpacking... not one broken item in over 130 boxes!!

I submitted a estimate request online and received a phone call the same day. I was able to schedule the move less than two weeks in advance. The movers were extremely professional, careful, punctual, clean and well-spoken. The guys had a positive attitude as well. I couldn't be more pleased and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Everything was top notch from beginning to end. The online process for obtaining a bid was easy and quick. Otis provided thorough and prompt follow-up during the bid and pre-move process by telephone and e-mail. The crew called 30 minutes prior to arrival as promised - and arrived right on time. They were friendly, courteous and professional. They took great care with my possessions and were very accomodating about changes I made regarding items that needed to be moved, but were not on the list I submitted. They moved all of the extra items and the additional charge was only $50 - very reasonable! I will absolutely be using Aloha again when I move back into my re-modeled house in five months. I will even request the same crew - they were terrific. John was our driver - I regret that I cannot recall the names of the other crew members.

Mustang got my business mainly because they understood that I was doing much of the packing prior to my move myself. Thus they gave me several quotes: move without packing, move + packing charged at an hourly rate, move + full packing. I chose the option for the move + packing charged at an hourly rate based on my expectation of how much I would have packed in advance. When the movers arrived they quickly realized that the initial inventory that was compiled (from which the pricing was derived) was inaccurate -- many items were undercounted. (This mainly applied to the garage and kitchen areas which I had not packed and were not substantially different than they were at the time of the initial quote/estimate.) The moving crew quickly came up with a new estimate of how much time would be required to pack and what the inventory count should be. Their estimate turned out to be spot on -- and was much closer to what I had intuitively expected initially. The discrepancy between the initial estimate and the actual move did affect the price, but they were always very open with how their pricing was done -- and so the price change was explainable and reasonable (not just some random number pulled out of thin air). From that point on the job went remarkably quickly and smoothly. Fragile kitchen items were packed well and very efficiently -- no breakage or damage. I've moved a lot over the years and this was by far the smoothest move of them all. Overall very highly recommended. They made a mistake in the initial estimate, but by being honest and transparent they more than made up for it and gained my confidence in their professionalism.

The move went very well. We had to arrange it with very little notice due to the delivery of new living room furniture and were worried we might not be able to get a top-rated company on such short notice. However, we were pleasantly surprised that Mustang could accommodate us. We did get one additional phone quote, which was lower, but did not involve any real detail in understanding our situation and the company was not as highly rated on Angie's List for piano moving. Prior to the move, there was extensive phone discussion regarding our specific situation in the country (gravel roads, long gravel driveway, piano needed to be moved over rough lawn and gravel to the truck.) We appreciated the time taken to figure out what the movers would face when they came to our house. There was a delay in moving - but we were called and kept informed all along and this did not pose any problems for us. The move itself went easier than anticipated. The guys who came out - both named Sean - were great. All was handled very efficiently and professionally. We would definitely use Mustant Moving again.

The guys were great--low key, professional, on-time, and they were able to do the move at the last minute (we called only a couple of days before we needed them). They listened to us when we asked for special care with a couple of pieces and explained all of the pricing very clearly. My sister-in-law will be moving her office in a few months and will definitely use them.

Great people who took great care of my belongings. Many companies hire people who complain as they work. Other movers will have one person who is good and the rest are the cheapest laborers they can find. Not Aloha. The people they sent were courteous and professional. I did not feel like I needed to watch every step they took. People make the business, keep up the good hiring and management practices Aloha. Mahalo!

The two movers did a great job. They worked hard and quickly, they deducted the breaks they took from the total time. They were right on time, a few minutes early even. They weren't quite as cautious as I would have been, but they must have known what they were doing because there wasn't a scratch on anything. During the move a meter maid informed us that you have to have a permit to park in the street (in a traffic lane) to unload/deliver things. The movers--nor I--knew that, so about 2/3 of the way through the unloading they had to move a hundred yards or so further away to an alley. The only down side being it took a bit longer to unload. In a perfect world they would have had the permit, but I also didn't mention unloading in the street as a possibility when I setup the appointment. Maybe the company has one, they just didn't know to send it with the movers.

Couldn't have gone better. The guys were on time, worked quickly and took great care with my belongings. Anything fragile was wrapped very carefully. They were professional, very pleasant and friendly. It took just over four hours. I would definitely recommend and use again.
