We had them over for a local move. Nicole in the office was super efficient and super cooperative. She understood the size of our move and assigned the right number of movers (2) for it and explained their pricing structure, which I found quite competitive. She also accommodated a change in the date of our move (we moved it up by one day) when we requested her about 5 days before the move. The hitch happened on the day of the movie. We were given a slot of 2-4, which we later understood means that the movers will arrive between 2 and 4, not that the move will be completed in this time window. Anyway, the movers finally arrived at 5.50 after numerous phone calls to the office and to the movers and some trepidation on our part whether the movers will come that day or not. They explained to us that the 2nd move of the day (we were the 3rd and last move for this pair of movers) took overlong since the homeowner had under-reported the amount of stuff that he had. Once the movers arrived (Carlos and Richard), they were super efficient and polite. The move got done in 2 and a half hours and we were done. One small wish would be that they would use shoe covers when moving inside the house, but they told us that some insurance rule precludes that. Overall, a good enough experience except for the delay on the time of the move.

Stressfully and expensively. Their equipment could not go up the hill and back down. I told them in advance about the narrow rock road at the top of the hill. No one with experience (management) ever came to the property to see why their movers failed twice to make it up the hill. FEDEX, UPS, another moving company and the guy who hauled away old appliances all made it up and down the hill. I even drove a 10 foot truck up and down the hill twice when I moved one room's content into storage. The estimate was $500-600 but actual cost was $1200 plus tips. The move was the most expensive that I have incurred in 40 years. I have moved approximately 50 times including within Manhattan four times. Originally the move was to occur on a Saturday but they could not get the truck up the hill and I had to rearrange the move for mid-week. Since I am a contract worker, I lost one day's pay due to the delay. The first arrival on a Saturday was on time. The second arrival (Wed) was one hour late since they did not call me when they arrived and were figuring out how to get the pickup with trailer up the hill. They ended up ferrying the boxes and furniture down the hill which means my belongings were handled twice rather than once. The moving guys worked quickly and efficiently but management failed to provide the right equipment and an experienced driver/supervisor. I recommend calling another mover if the first appointment fails. I did not follow my intuition on Saturday and my moving expenses doubled on Wednesday.

They were expensive, but high quality. They were responsive, on time, careful, and polite. The pricing was accurate and fair.

I had a good result with them. I had a real problem with the trees in my neighborhood and they couldn't get a truck up there. They really went out of their way and got a trailer so we were able to move. Their trailer broke down and it wound up taking all day, but I don't blame them for anything that happened. They were really nice. They were careful. I had no problems. The staff and everybody that works with you was nice.

They are a good, professional moving company. They were punctual and careful with my things. Overall it went pretty well. I don’t know about the price; my parents hired them.

Arrived on time. Moved all items on my list onto their truck. Arrived promptly at my new address and moved everything up to the 3rd floor. Nothing damaged/broke. The staff was polite and performed their role expertly. Life is good. I would definitely hire them again.

The movers were helpful, courteous, punctual and went out of their way to be helpful. It was just better than the competitors' prices. The movers were careful with our items. Only drawback was that they did not take off the shrink wrap in which they had wrapped dressers and nightstands. Great guys, 'though!

We couldn't be more happy with how smoothly the move went. Miguel and Jeremy were awesome! They were so very professional and a pleasure to have around. They moved us quickly and took excellent care of all of our furniture. They took time to make sure that the furniture was arranged in the rooms the way we wanted it and were more then happy to move things if it needed to be moved. We will definitely call Mustang Moving Company for any future moving needs and will request Jeremy and Miguel to be our movers!

They were an A. They were great. I thought their pricing was very good and they were right on time.

From start to finish this was a super experience. I have moved many times in my life, and there has always been SOMETHING that didn't go right. However, Nicole and Dale, the owners, were friendly, courteous and great to work with. They gave me a specific estimate (give or take) and they were RIGHT ON, in their estimate. The contractors they used were respectful of me and my belongings and they worked from the time they arrived, to the time they left, no dilly - dallying! They were GREAT! A++++ for Mustang Movers and their folks!

I reached out to three moving companies I identified on Angie's list to get estimates for an upcoming move. Mustang Moving was the second of the three companies to come out and provide a visual inspection so they could provide me an estimate. The scheduling of the appointment was not too bad, but that is where my positive experience ended. The representative that was scheduled to do the visual inspection showed up and had a second person with her. She introduced the two of them and immediately started complaining about the weather (it had rained earlier in the day - much needed rain here in Austin). She then asked if I was looking at other companies, I told her I had requested estimates from three companies from Angie's list. She asked if I had any specific requests regarding the move and I told her we would be packing and that the first company offered us "loaner boxes". She started telling me the other company would end up charging me for the boxes, she also said instead of wardrobe boxes (that the other company said they would loan us) they would place the clothes in moving pads and wrap them up. After a minute of her trying to tell me what the "other company would or would not do" I asked her if she would go ahead work on her inspection and tell me what her company could do for me and that I would make an informed decision from there. She and the other person walked around and took notes and then she stated she would go back to the office and work up her estimate and have it to me by the next day, that was two weeks ago and I've not heard back from them. When I call a company for an estimate, I'm not looking for their opinion of other companies in the area, or what services other companies will or will not perform, I'm looking for their estimate and then I'll make an informed decision. I would not use this company or refer them to anyone.

I have certainly had worse moving experiences and I really give the guys credit for powering through the 110+ degree weather. They also showed up on time and called ahead of time. They did not drive slowly to run up the charges and they stayed busy the entire time. The guys were also nice, but you could tell they had clients before them that had made them mad so by the time they got to us they were exhausted and in little mood to deal with anything out of the ordinary. I have worked retail so I get it, but I still always tried to be extra careful with peoples’ stuff. Once the guys realized we are not ones to be overly demanding or nasty they loosened up and joked around. However, I was very clear at the time of book that a number of items are antiques and that I was paying more than the cheapest to ensure care would be taken, I also reiterated this to the movers when they arrived. The items I had concern about are very nice solid wood and very heavy. A couple of items are over 150 years old and care was not taken. A number of other items were over 40 – 50 years old and again care was not taken. Keep in mind most of these items have been moved around the world (Colombia, Bahamas, Ohio, Saudi Arabia, Texas) on several occasions and made it with zero dings in the wood. This was a short 40 mile trip and there were all sorts of new dings in all of the pieces. One piece, while it was new and relatively inexpensive and not piece I was concerned about, was completely marred when the guy ripped the packing tape off the glass which was also on the wood. Instead of putting the tape back he crumpled it. It is a whole lot easier to fix the marring with the tape piece than start from scratch. He then acted like it was no big deal. They also put our mattresses on their severely sweaty bodies to carry them up the stairs. I always use a disinfectant spray and us a UV light after a move anyway, but out of concern of having stuff damaged I kept my mouth shut, it is just like not sending your food back at a restaurant. Because it was so hot I still gave the guys a tip because we would have never gotten the stuff up to a 3rd floor apartment in 110+ degree weather, but had I realized all the wood dings I would have never thought about a tip. Of course, you only see this stuff once you start organizing everything and at that point it is too late and it becomes your word against theirs. I think if I had booked an early morning move all probably would have been oaky or if it had been 90 degrees vs 110. However, with that said the wood dings irritate the snot out of me every time I see them and that is why I sat down and wrote this review this morning. If you are one of those that replaces furniture every couple of years because you tear it up anyway there would be no issue with the guys.

They were prompt, and professional. I did not have any problems. Their rates were fair. I would use their services again.

They were excellent. They were extremely friendly. They did a great job. They did a little extra that I didn’t touch or confirm and they were fine with that.

Jeremy and Anthony arrived on time and set to work efficiently and professionally, showing impressive stamina in the face of the heat and stairs. They were careful with our stuff and very courteous at all times, and never complained that they had to ask so many questions because I was not as organized as I could have been. I was paying by the hour so I was pleased that they did not waste time. I recommend them.

It was a great experience. They were on time. They treated my possessions with care and they worked worked very hard. I would absolutely use them again.

We chose Mustang because they specialized in local moves and they had many positive reviews on Angie's list. However, I learned from the few negative reviews that accuracy in our communication with Mustang, especially when itemizing what needed to be moved, would very likely put our experience in with the vast majority of their customers. Turned out to be the right thing to do. We were very pleased. The quote we received was accurate and fair, despite Mustang not having seen what we were moving beforehand. Mustang was courteous, friendly, professional, prompt and nice to deal with. We hope to be in our new place for a long time, but if we should need moving services again, we would not hesitate to call Mustang, nor would we hesitate to recommend them.

I have used them twice. They have good workers. They could do better at analyzing their price structure. I was very pleased. They didn't break anything and they take safety measures. What they say is what they will charge me. They are flexible if I have extra things to move.

A crew of 3 courteous movers showed up on time and worked continuously throughout the morning to get our house packed and moved onto the new location by early afternoon. The crew was professional, friendly, and most importantly, treated our furniture with care. They were efficient and completed the move with only one issue which as minor and resolved quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

I cannot sing the praises enough of Mustang Moving and our movers, Miguel and Carlos. They arrived at our house 30 minutes early after making a heads up call 20 minutes before. They did some heavy furniture lifting and did not take a single break. Both young men have pleasant and respectful personalities and are highly responsible. There was not a single instance of damage to our belongings--in fact, Carlos took time to repair our dresser which he was moving when he noticed that the back was coming off (maybe I should list him in the furniture repair category of Angie's List). My only complaint is that I cannot give them a grade higher than "A."

I was estactic to find Mustang Moving on Angie's List... the number of excellent reviews bolstered my decision to contact them re: moving me from a 3-br/2.5 bath home into a 2-br/1-bath apartment. I contacted Nicole in the third week of April and, initially, she was professional & pleasant. I was reasonably flexible re: the date of my move ( "sometime in the third week of May") and she scheduled a tentative walk-thru date. This wound up being cancelled because she was "stuck in a meeting" and she'd call me back re: rescheduling. Unfortunately, Nicole's call back never came. And despite my calling and leaving Nicole a message four times, I've yet to be contacted by Nicole again. Now granted, this wasn't a HUGE move by any stretch of the imagination; it was a small move --only two appliances [washer & dryer], perhaps two dozen pieces of furniture [no beds or sofas] and ~100 boxes of "stuff" moved five miles up the road-- but it was important to me. I'm now down to the wire and casn't afford to wait on Nicole's call-back. Sorry, but I can't recommend Mustang Moving.

Mustang Moving was prompt in their response to our initial inquiry and were flexible with our timing of the move. Nicole promptly came out to give an estimate for full packing and moving services, which was very reasonable given the scope of the job. Once moving day arrived, the movers were on time. Overall, I was very impressed by the services provided by the moving team. I have moved a lot recently and this was by far my best experience with movers. The driver Carlos set the tone for the moving experience by being friendly, hardworking and patient. Anthony also did a great job and was very hardworking. They took great care in packing and moving our belongings. Best of all, nothing was damaged in the move! I would highly recommend Mustang Moving!!

They are really quick to get the job done. Their prices are better than everyone elses.
