Everyone from sales, project management, scheduler, and office staff were all great to work with. Our project stayed on schedule and Anthony & Sylvan always kept us informed during each process. The best part was the communication and responsiveness from all the Anthony & Sylvan members.

We couldn't be more pleased with our decision to have Anthony & Sylvan Pools build our pool. It's a stressful, expensive process but they made every step of the way painless and easy. The big key was their excellent communication skills and always keeping us informed of what's coming next. Their product is beautiful and we will be enjoying this pool for years to come. We love our new pool from Anthony & Sylvan in Austin. We looked at several companies and are so thankful that we decided on this one. From Aaron designing our pool and helping me get everything I wanted and staying within the budget, to Tyson the PM making sure every step of the construction process was completed and done correctly. It took about 8 weeks to complete and we had several rain delays. Even after the pool is complete, they still answer my questions. Customer satisfaction is very important to them. I would highly recommend Anthony & Sylvan in Austin!!!

We are extremely happy with our pool, and the experience we had with Anthony & Sylvan Pools. Our designer, Aaron Dumas was very talented and extremely easy to work with. He maximized our pool within our existing yard and city limitations. He carefully listened to all of our suggestions and never told us that something could not be done. Aaron was very patient with us as we carefully explored coping, tile and pebble tech colors and options including some project enhancing change orders. He was always available to take our calls or meet with us on-site. Our construction manager, Colin Schneider, and scheduler, Shawn Eldredge moved the project along as quickly as October rains permitted. In addition to periodically checking the quality of work during various construction phases, Colin was very helpful in resolving several end of project issues. That included conducting an on-site meeting with the owner of a subcontracting company to explore something that we were not happy with. Colin always came through with his promises ?to make things right?. Our pool is beautiful, greatly enhances the appearance of our backyard, and has increased the value of our home. We can hardly wait until the weather warms up this summer to jump into the pool. Thank you Anthony & Sylvan Pools for a great job.

We chose to reach out to Anthony Sylvan for a couple reasons. One was the reviews on Angie's List. I am actually surprised I am the only negative review on here. We met with a pool designer originally on 8/18/2015. To date we have NEVER heard back from him. It is now 9/23/2015. Over 5 weeks later. We have emailed him and even asked if he wanted to be considered a 'no bid' on the project. No response. Since we didn't hear back I called the local office and asked if he was even still employed with the company. That was on 9/18/2015. The lady that answered stated he was and emphatically said Anthony Sylvan does not no bid a project and that she would get with him and have him contact us. Man, I sure would have thought we would have received a call after that...still nothing. I even just checked my spam filter as I really don't like giving a bad review if it is not warranted...nothing. This was not a small project we were looking at either.

First off, their salesman, Dave Rothwell, was exceptional from the first appointment to completion of the pool. Their project managers were also fantastic. Every aspect of the process was extremely well managed. They exceeded expectations and the overall process was painless and extremely enjoyable.

Anthony & Sylvan Pools were fantastic from the initial designing process to the finished product the company met and excelled my expectations. The designer Aaron Dumas was very easy to work with, he had great ideas and listened to my requests he had excellent technical abilities to make modification to the design to give me the exact pool I desired. The work was done in a timely manner and the communication was great, there were no stumbling blocks a long the way as the equipment they used was top of the line and made the difference in the finish project. I would extremely recommend this company to any other member looking to use this particular service.

It was built to our satisfaction. Construction proceeded through the winter. We have been enjoying our pool ever since.

He was receptive to our requests and modifications we wanted to do. He completed it in a timely fashion. They were always on time throughout the process. The only delays we had were rain related. They were professional. I would highly recommend them and if we were to build a pool again, we would definitely use them!

They work and price was excellent. They worked very hard and did a lot for us. They gave us everything that other companies would not give for the price of the pool. Scheduling was done very well; the only mishap we had was when it rained for about 5 weeks straight. Once that was over, it all went very well. They anticipated that it would take about 5-7 days to dig the hole and they dug it out in one day. They really went above and beyond.

They repaired the leak just fine. Crew came out quickly and it has not leaked since! Always do outstanding service for us! They bend over backwards to make sure we were happy!

We talked with two neighbors who used this company and had similar installation conditions, i.e. rocky, sloping yards. We got recommendations from them, and it was an important factor in our decision to use Anthony Sylvan. We designed a pool with attached hot tub with the AS salesman. The installation went exactly as expected, in the time frame they had estimated. We had one problem (a leak in the hot tub) shortly after installation, and it was repaired quickly. Later, we had a pump failure, and it was also repaired quickly. In warm weather, we use the pool almost every day, even after three years. And since we have a hot tub, we use our pool year-round. I wish we had built it sooner!

It went very well. First of all, my designer, Sindo Delgado, was the only one of three designers from three companies that I interviewed who understood what I wanted. He created a design that met my expectations and then went beyond what I had imagined with a superior design. I'm very pleased with the pool - it's beautiful. The scheduler, Shawn, was prompt with information. He went to great lengths to get the pool done before my 50th bday party. It didn't happen due to the deluge we had in Central Texas, but he worked tirelessly to make it happen. He was very pleasant to work with - always a happy demeanor and very helpful and informative. What ever issues we may have had, were seen to until they were made perfect even if it meant sending a crew out several times. We had a very large patio poured and getting the drainage right was difficult because of the large size, but we are quite pleased now. It was never a problem to have someone look at our concerns and address them. The final payment is due just prior to the pool being finished. My husband was hesitant to pay because there were a few loose ends that he was sure wouldn't get done if we paid in advance. Every last one was done in good time. For example, we had a large wall constructed at one end of the patio. They didn't put the grout between our existing stone wall on our house and the new stone wall bc it would eventually crack with time and settling. They came back as they said they would to wrap it up with silicon in no time at all. Also, it turned out we didn't have the skimmer and lid and that was brought to us by the project manage, Derek, as soon as he found out it was missing. I have since called on occasion with concerns... like the time I left the water on and over filled the pool. Derek was very sweet to let me know what I needed to do even though I woke him up with a panicky text.

It took a little longer because of the rains and it was more at our discretion. They had to navigate around existing things to do the job and they did a good job. It was a typical construction adventure, you always have things that you wish you had communicated a little better with each other but at the end when I really kind of started working with them and got the right folks involved that made all the difference in the world and they’ve made good on every promise they’ve made to me. I really don’t have anything but good things to say about the company. If any issues came out they said we want to fix it to your satisfaction and they’ve done that. They were a little cheaper than another company.

We were so happy with our pool building experience. Digging a pool in 6 feet of limestone is stressful but Dave Rothwell did everything he could to make sure we were happy throughout the process. He ensured that our project stayed within our budget and that it was completed within the time frame promised. Whenever we had concerns or questions, they were addressed quickly and professionally by the AS team. We love how our pool turned out. We can't wait to use it again next year. A&S is highly recommended and ask for Dave.

Most all pool construction is about the same. Pool companies assign a Project Manager (PM) to coordinate and schedule construction processes with the sub contractors (demolition, excavation, steel & forms, plumbing, electrical, gunite, rock-work & coping, flatwork (pool deck), plaster, clean-up and landscaping, pool deck finish, pool school, and punch list). Anthony & Sylvan contracted out to viable and experienced subcontractors for the above construction processes for which each provided requisite and experienced trades for their scheduled activities. Some very talented individuals. Upon completion of the construction, punch list items were taken care of promptly. All seemed to know all of the other trades processes but were reluctant to cross boundaries and fix minor discrepancies, because that was not what their job function was. We selected Anthony & Sylvan because they were recommended to us by others who had pools built by them, they were low cost from four estimates & provided the products that we had researched and desired, and had good reviews on the internet. The Sales Rep was very knowledgeable about the pool design and construction process and was truthful about the pros and cons of pools, cost, types of pools, why and why not of different designs, equipment, and layout, and only pointed to facts but still worked to give us what our expectations were (pool type - saline vrs chlorine, deck finishes, size requirements & associated cost, maintenance issues, and design layout). He promptly provided detail plans, layout, and cost data within a day or two of our initial meeting. There was an incident where the assigned PM resigned from Anthony & Sylvan, and we were not notified until a week later. During such time frame we (home owner) assumed the PM role and were in communication with the subcontractors on what we wanted, how to do things, and what was not suppose to be done. There were minor communication problems with the subs, but generally overcame language barriers with time and patience. This was remedied quickly by Anthony & Sylvan assigning their Lead PM to the job, which resulted in quick resolution of all issues. Although I have been told that most pool construction projects are messy and trashy until the end of the process, I would have to say there is room for improvement for clean-up all through the construction process - not waiting until the end. So far we are happy with the end product and services and would recommend Anthony & Sylvan (Austin office) for anyone interested in an "in ground" pool.

We got quotes from four local swimming pool companies before we made our decision about who would build our pool. We chose Anthony/Sylvan because Sindo Delgado, the agent we dealt with, answered all of our questions, called back and checked with us, and worked with us to make our plans fit our budget. Sindo helped design our large pool which included a diving board. He made suggestions and added features that made it perfect for our needs. We were having 9 grandchildren for the summer, so timing was very important to us. He made sure that our beautiful, sparkling pool was ready when they arrived. He designed it so that there were three steps in the shallow end for the non swimmers, while the diving end was appropriately deep for the bigger kids. By the end of the summer there were no non swimmers. The deck and coping of the pool are beautiful; we get lots of compliments on the over all look. It is magical to swim at night because of the adjustable pool lights. There was a slight flaw on the decking, and, after a call, someone came out immediately and repaired it. The whole experience of building the pool was stress free. Anthony/Sylvan contractors were there when they were supposed to be, and the quality of their work was excellent. We used the men who poured the pool deck for additional work because they did such a good job. Having this beautiful pool has changed our lives. We live outside now. I would highly recommend Anthony/Sylvan to anyone thinking about building a pool. The quality is there, and the price is right. Terry and Sharon

I love this company! Anthony and Sylvan pools has the customer service of a small town business with the selection of a large corporate company. Our designer was able to capture our vision immediately, listened thoroughly, and provided a design that met our needs. The work was timely throughout the process, the workers were professional and kind. The company itself kept us informed and the administrative assistant went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. We are rather picky customers...and I'm not saying that lightly. We went for a natural looking pool with a waterfall, my spouse didn't like the direction of about 4 rocks that had been installed for about a week and two weeks before construction ended we asked them to turn them and they did, no questions asked. It was evident from the start that their goal was to meet our needs and give us the pool of our dreams. I highly recommend them. I checked out four companies before settling on Anthony and Sylvan and it was quite literally their customer-centric mindset that sold me on them.

We decided to build a pool and our Anthony Sylvan sales person made recommendations to us regarding the financing. The salesman was one of the best salespeople I've ever dealt with. He made recommendations to us based on our needs. He is intuitive about what the client wants/needs. It was obvious that he is a client-advocate and not simply trying to drive up cost as he clearly outlined pros and cons with each option. Our very large (17,500 gallon) pool was completed in 35 days, start to finish, which we found astonishing. The pool is BEAUTIFUL and our neighbors are so jealous. We have heard horror stories from others who said it took months and months to finish their pool. Some contractors had even walked off their jobs and they were begging for others to finish. We had NONE of these issues. The construction manager was responsive and the whole project ran like clock-work. I will sing the praises of Anthony Sylvan to anyone who will listen. We are beyond delighted with this company and can't say enough good things about our experience.

We were told the average time to construct the pool is 6-8 weeks. It has now been nearly 10 months, in the heat of the summer, and the pool still isn't finished. We have complied with the payment schedule, but now it will cost us more to hire another company to finish the project than what we owe Anthony Sylvan. There has been a complete lack of communication throughout the project. The subcontractors show up (generally not on the day we are told they will be onsite)without the plans. Weeks go by before phone calls or e-mails are returned. The pool equipment plumbing had to be moved three times before it was right. The whole process has been extremely frustrating.

I thought the original installation of my swimming pool went well. I have to admit, I am a little disappointed that I have not yet had any one come out to fix a light that is inside of the walling in the pool. This has been a little difficult, but, I am not losing faith. I am sure some one should be calling and coming by soon. I would definitely not hold them for that. Especially on a recommendation.
