On-time. Great customer service. They built the pool the way I wanted it.

It went great all the way from the sales, throughout the build process to the end result. The pool looks fantastic. It was exactly what we were loking for. The work was done on time and within budget. We really couldn't be happier; it's a beautiful pool.

The pool is one of the best investments that we've made. They have been super helpful with advise and any questions that we've had, they've answered immediately. We had a very small problem, in the beginning, with the filter and they took care of it immediately.

I contacted Anthony & Sylvan via website and they got back to me promptly with questions about our intended project. Subsequently we were contacted by a local representative who set up a reasonable time to meet at our house for initial discussion. After minor delay this meeting went well and the representative seemed very knowledgeable and interested in the project. He took plenty of time reviewing our plans and asking if we had any questions. I provided several drawings, survey info, etc., and he said he'd be working with the construction group and ultimately provide a rendering and worksheet on individual costs for the many features we were considering. And then... crickets. One month later and we've yet to hear back from him - even after direct text message. We saw an earlier review with similar feedback on this individual, but sad to be the recipient of this unprofessionalism. By all early indications, we have a higher end project and are flexible with budget. So this isn't a case of unrealistic expectations - we're pretty easy going customers. Hey A&S: Can we at least get our drawings back so we can provide them to a company that wants the project?

I'm not one who likes giving bad reviews but it's gotten to the point to where I'm not getting anywhere. We've had the pool now for seven months and at first it was great. I've had an issue with our cleaner which A&S took care of it within a week. I'm having the same issue with the second cleaner and I've called, texted to get help but I'm not even getting a response from anyone. We added the Koolcote to our deck because we were told it would help keep the temperature down to where it would be comfortable to walk on barefoot. Well, it's not even really hot yet and we're not able to walk on it. I've contacted the warranty manager of Texas and he was supposed to come out and did not show, no phone call or email to let me know he wasn't going to make it. I've been trying to contact anyone from the project manager to the local warranty tech and the Texas warranty manager with no luck. We feel that we're being ignored and now that the pool is completed they don't care to provide the customer service we expected from a company like Anthony Sylvan Pools. Update: Anthony Sylvan came back & resolved all my issues, and have been very responsive & offered their personal cell number in case other issues arise; I am very happy with the outcome, and would definitely recommend Anthony Sylvan as a Pool Contractor.

We had an idea of what we wanted for our dream pool. Anthony & Sylvan were very responsive and work towards making our ideas into a reality. When they were done with the pool they had used the wrong plaster color. They came back out and completely redid the interior of the pool with the right color. They did this at no extra costs to us and were happy to do it. They even refilled the pool and put in the proper chemicals at no cost.

It went great. They did a really good job of explaining the process and explain everything while they were building it out. They scheduled ahead of time, and they were always on time.

Everything went smoothly and quickly. Didn't really any hiccups during the project. Everything was done like they said it was going to be done. We modified a few things and they had to come out and they were quick to respond.

They were on time. They worked according to schedule. They had a facilitator that communicating everything to me. Everything was great. They completed the project to my specifications, on time and on budget. My pool is beautiful.

They did a great job. We're very satisfied with the work. We worked with the architect to design the whole backyard. They even put me in contact with another contractor to finish up the barbecue area. I would highly recommend them, and we love our new pool!

We went with them because they have been in business for so long and they provide a great life time warranty. Everything went well. The sales rep Larry was very helpful, the contractors were respectful to the property. I would recommend them for anyone who wants to install a pool.

We are very happy with Anthony & Sylvan. TJ Martin helped us design our pool and kept us in our budget. Tyson Felker, our project manager, was always accessible and found time to explain each process and phase. Even the admin staff, Bianca and Joni, were always keeping us informed with our schedule. This team is truly amazing!

A million stars for Anthony Dumas and Tyson Felker. These two combined are absolutely amazing. From the initial design to the final construction, these two have been on top of everything. They have treated us like royalty and provided an outstanding product. Honestly, I think these two could build a successful pool company on their own because they are so amazing. I always tell my friends to ask for these two specifically.

Not a good experience with Anthony and Sylvan We had a very small pool (about 17ftx10ft, 5900gal) built in our backyard. We thought this would be a simple, easy project, but Anthony and Sylvan's terrible customer service and project management made it a pretty big nightmare. Below are some of the issues we encountered: First, shortly after excavation and steel had been completed, I discovered that the pool was 2ft shorter than agreed upon in the contract. When I inquired, the Project Manager (PM) told me that it was due to the company policy of not building into the setbacks set by the city. This was not ever communicated to us prior to construction beginning. Also, the city of Austin explicitly allows for pools to be built into setbacks (it's in their code). The PM told them they could not and would not make an exception to their company policy. It took weeks and finally I was put in touch with the PM's supervisor. We negotiated, and he agreed to make an exception. I still had to pay for the additional excavation and steelwork. Had the PM properly communicated with us, we could have easily avoided that situation. Further, once I (personally) discovered that the pool was shorter than agreed to in the contract, the reaction from the PM was to say he couldn't do anything about it. Obviously, that turned out not to be true. Overall, we felt like we had to serve as the PMs for our pool construction. Again, I have no doubt that a PMs salary is somehow reflected in the cost of building a pool through your company. I do not feel like we got what we paid for, as far as PM oversight. Second, Anthony and Sylvan's crew installed the pool filter so that the drain on the pool filter, literally, drained directly into a vent in the stucco skirting causing the water to run directly underneath our house into our crawlspace. Obviously no one wants water in their crawlspace. Even the technician stated how dumb it was for them to install the filter in that location. Thankfully, their warranty people came up with an alternative way to drain the filter (something I hope doesn't come back to bite us). Third, weeks after the clean-up crew did their final clean-up and we received our final permit, we were noticing things that weren't done. Examples include, putting our fence back, removing the form (there was rebar and wood bracing still in place), we discovered the autofill had not been installed, there was missing coping, and the stonework over the pool cover housing was not done and then eventually done incorrectly, etc. We had to send multiple emails trying to get this all done. It also taking them forever to actually schedule these things to get done. It's been over a month after the clean up crew had "finished" and we had gotten our final permit, and all of this stuff is still not completed. All of these services were part of our contract and paid for; however, I wonder if they would have ever gotten done had I not discovered them and sent multiple emails trying to get the issues resolved. Again, had the PM actually showed up and checked everyone's work once it was done, all this could have been taken care of much faster, if not completely avoided. I don't know if all of these issues were because we had such a small pool and y'all weren't making a lot of money off of it; however, we were less than impressed with the customer service and management aspects of the project. Obviously, none of this is personal and all our critique is towards the company as an entity. Everyone we interacted with from Anthony and Sylvan was friendly and nice, although not very responsive.

It was great. It was super clean and were in and out. The rain started to delay things a bit, but I was really impressed with the quality of the people they sent out, and their workmanship. They were very responsive and very easy to get ahold of. They were accessible by phone and text, and it was a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone, and already have a friend who just signed a contract the other day.

It went very well. It was a very speedy construction. All of the subcontractors knew what they were doing. The end product was beautiful. Like an any construction, the sales office can be somewhat disconnected from the construction, so be mindful of that.

Worked with Aaron Dumas and would highly recommend. Very enjoyable experience. Made sure all our questions were answered and our concerns were met. Highly recommend asking for him!

Chris at Anthony & Sylvan was very professional, prompt and did excellent work. He was fast, everything is as good as new and he left no trace that he was even there. Fast, friendly and courteous, couldn't ask for anything more. Great to know I went with a company that is so responsive to their customers.

Matt spent a few hours with us in detail going through The functioning of our pool and how all of the equipment works he was very detailed and allowed us plenty of time to ask questions and show how things work. He also spent a lot of time explaining us how proper pool chemistry works and demonstrated many of the measurements and techniques for us. He was very patient and overall we were very pleased with his service. I had a follow-up question for him after he left and he very promptly responded.

I've been very pleased with the AS in Austin, TX. The sales representative TJ worked hard to help me stay within my budget and get me what I wanted. The office personnel were always friendly and helpful. Tyson, the PM, is very professional and knowledgeable about swimming pools. My overall experience with AS gave me the confidence that I chose the right pool company!
