Very good response time. The guy they sent was very skilled and worked fast. The job was finished in an hour. I'll call them again if I need to.

It went very well. The plumber worked diligently for the hour I had paid for with the Angie's list coupon. He answered my questions about why the disposal drain was not plumbed as recommended by the manufacturer (it has to do with the plumbing codes in Texas). Anyway, he fixed the problem efficiently and I'm quite satisfied with the service I received. This guy was not a rookie. He was a veteran of more than 30 years in the business.

Great. The fix was relatively easy.

BJ is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He worked quickly and took the time to explain to me what he did and how to maintain the disposal. He gave pros and cons for replacing vs. repairing the kitchen faucet and toilet. We are planning on having him back to do that work. Also, he cleaned up all his work and even put on booties over his shoes every time he entered the house so he didn't track in dirt. Much appreciated!

We had a leak in the front yard and they came out and took care of it right away. Considering how much water we lost and how much work it was, the price was good. They were in the middle of a lot of stuff and they got out as soon as they could, about two days later. There was one worker. It took less 2 hours of work.

It has been fine. They came out and checked it and fixed it and I thought that the fee was reasonable. Part of the deal price was refunded because it wasn't the right thing. I had a deal with them to come out periodically and clean up water heater and check out everything. They also put in a new faucet and fixed the toilet. I paid about $35 more. The $95 was credited back and then there was a $68 charge. The new charge was less than the old charge and then on top of that there was other work that needed to be done. So I paid a little bit more. I think they were fine because I had no contact with them. They just called me and said, "This is what needs to be done," and they did it. They were great. I have not heard that there is a problem with what they did. So they did a good job, they did it promptly, they did it at a price that I like.

I received prompt and excellent service. My sink lines are updated and now I can choose preferred faucet system to install at next service date. Secondly, My refrigerator water/ice functions are working great!

Very quickly and very professionally. Will definitely use them again for future needs.

Everything went well - the plummer got everything done in an hour, including a trip to the store to buy a new cartridge. Shower works perfectly now (used Angie's Big Deal)

AllState was great! They were able to come to my house quickly to fix a kitchen sink link. They arrived promptly and easily fixed the issue. Thanks AllState!

Great. I supplied the manifold and new shower fixtures per their recommendations so I would not have to have 50+ year old tile replaced. If you are interested, they will talk you through everything.

Can't say enough about Allstate Plumbing. Called early in the morning and owner/operator Chris Kifer picks up the phone and takes my call. Described my problem and he promptly directed me to customer service rep who scheduled service visit by noon. Rep called me at 11am and said tech would be there early and was that OK. Yep. Came and fixed a leaky fireplace gas valve quickly, cleaned up and poof - we're done! Same day Austin temperature hit 20' and the fireplace was in full force by 1pm!!! YAY all around- thanks team!!!!! 5 Stars

Very well. Even though the plumber had to go buy the parts needed, the repairs were performed in a timely manner, they were done correctly the first time and the plumber was very courteous and professional.

Person who came out was a real professional. The work was completed in a timely manner. Fellow was very courteous and respectful of our property. Job was done well and we had an additional job for him that he completed as well. The only small complaint that I would have (and it's small) is that they charge in 15 minute increments but I guess if you go over 1 minute you are automatically rounded up to the next 15 minutes, which may not seem like much but at $125-150/hr it's like a $35 difference in your bill.

The technician was on time, efficient, and knowledgeable. We will be using this company again.

I called the Allstate-plumbing emergency number. They were closed because it was after five, but was transferred to a call service. The people who answered (Mellisa & Amy) were extremely disorganized. There was a baby crying, loud music & laughter in the background. Very unprofessional. They had a difficult time understanding my home address & phone details; I had to repeat myself several times. They said they called for the on call for an after-hours technician/plumber. After a long wait, the first plumber (Johnny Rodriguez) called back. He made it clear that the price was for his time of $187 per hour (compared to the normal rate of $125). He showed up very late because he was in Pflugerville. He did a quick diagnosis and said a pipe was clogged and he would have to back flush it w a compressor. He did not have any of the necessary equipment on his truck, and would need to come back out the next day. So he charged me $187.00 for this appearance even though he could not do anything. He said he would come the next day after five pm because the company only has seven techs that work under the licensed plumber and they were booked. The next day he showed up around 6:30pm. He had his compressor and shut off the some pipes & hooked up some hoses and the compressor to the water heater of which he said was full. We couldn't see what was coming out of the hose as he back flushed because it was very dark outside. But he felt confident it was working. He tested all the taps and they seems to be giving hot water and then he left. He did not shut off the water supply to my appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher, etc.) while he was back flushing the pipes. He also did not flush or purge the water heater which I thought that was odd because it could have sediment / calcium in it, just like the pipes. The cost for this second visit was $310.34 Four days later, the exact same problem with the hot water pressure happened again at 10pm. I called the Allstate call center (who were similarly disorganized, loud, etc.). A technician named, Keith called back. He was very annoyed and didn't understand what I meant by "there is no hot water or hot water pressure". Then he started yelling at me. He said he didn't care what Johnny had done previously, and did not have access to any of the records pertaining to the previous visit. He too did not have a compressor on his truck. I asked him if I could speak to the master plumber who owned Allstate, Chris Kifer. Keith yelled on the phone at me : "Good Luck w that Lady" and hung up on me. I called the call center, they said they would try to get a hold of Mr Chris. I asked if that was the owner - Chris Kifer. They laughed & said yes. The call was returned by the same rude technician, Keith. My husband spoke to him and he told my husband had to make an appointment in the morning. About a half hour later, Kieth called again & was angry. My husband said that the call center had messed up because we had not called. We wrote an email to them asking for service on Tuesday, the 22nd. At 7am, my husband called to get service but they said that no one could help us until Wednesday and that it would cost an additional $125/hr for anyone who came out. They told me they only charge by the hour and not the job, even though previous calls were not successful in solving the problem. Although the owner eventually did call my husband back to apologize for the behavior of his technician (Keith) there was no discussion about him taking responsibility or accountability for not resolving the issue that we had now paid almost $500 to have fixed. A couple of days after Allstate's visit we were using our washing machine and it started leaking. The repair technician that evaluated the unit said the seals / gaskets in the washer were damaged. And wanted to know if we had been experiencing high water pressure recently. He put the cost of repair to the washer at over $500. Evidently by not turning off the water to the appliances before doing the backflush of the pipes with compressed air, Allstate Plumbing had damaged the washer. We have contacted Allstate about this, but have not heard anything back. This company is understaffed. Their call center is useless. The company says they do emergency calls but they really don't because they have no access to tools needed or can look at the history of the customer. The company works as a contracting firm with independent technicians working under the master plumber license. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Called someone else that was interested in doing the job.

This was the second time we've used Allstate Arrived quickly and completed the job fast. Only downgrade was that they had originally suggested we needed to replace a shower fixture, although the second time we used them for different issues we had a more experienced technician and he fixed the issue and it has meant we haven't required a costly replacement.

I won't ever look up a plumbing service again-- these are my guys from here on out.

My house is 75 years old, and nearly all simple repairs are not simple due to the age of the house. The replacement went seamless. We did not have to replace the hot water shut off valve, which I was expecting. So the repairs were less extensive, and the cost was very good.

I have never been so demeaned in my entire life. I called these people on a Monday morning because my gas was turned off on Friday and they said they could get to me by noon on Monday. Then they call me and tell me the guy is running a little late but will be here around 2pm. I went with these people because they had a four start review on Yelp. So the guy gets here at 4:45 pm and says he should come back the next day because if he started the work it would be considered "after hours repair at time and a half". So he gave me his card and told me to call in the morning (Tuesday). Mind you, my wife and I can't bathe, wash dishes, use the dryer, or the dishwasher. So I woke up and called them. Apparently they were so busy they had to call me back. By the time they did it was 12pm and the woman on the phone told me that since the gas company turned of my gas they have to "pull permit" before they can even send anybody over to my house and since the City of Austin is not doing permits until Thursday, they wouldn't be able to get anybody out to my house until then, another two days! When I asked her "what does pull permit mean" she got really mean and nasty with me on the phone and said "sir, I told you, we need to pull permit before we can go out to your house". I told her I understood the process, I just didn't know what "pull permit" actually means. She got really rude with me and told me to call a different plumber!!!!!!! I was so flabbergasted that she'd want me to go to her competition, I called back and asked for the manager. When I got him on the phone I told him the receptionist really motivated me. She didn't just motivate me to call a new plumber, but she also motivated me to write them a horrible review on Yelp, Google, and wherever else I could possibly find. Happy ending: I got a recommendation from a really good friend to call Plumb Masters. Not only did they get to my house within 90 minutes, but they didn't even need to pull the permit from the city since they didn't detect any gas leak! The gas company made a mistake by turning off the gas so all I had to do was wait for Plumb Masters to test the pressure on the line, which came out perfectly, and I happily paid their $89 service call! If you guys ever need a kind, friendly, honest and inexpensive plumbing company call Plumb Masters: 512-657-5862 and either Mandy or Mark (the owners) will be more than happy to get your problem solved quickly, cheaply, and with great service!!!!!

Incredible. Scheduling was a breeze--the support team emailed and called immediately to flush out the details. The technician was on-time and very professional. He conducted the work in less than an hour, even connected the stove and moved it into the final position. I had several companies quote me upwards of $400 for parts and installation--in fact, I sent several companies home after such ridiculous estimates. All-state came in a conducted the work for less than 50% what everyone else quoted--and I went with some very reputable names in the market. AllState is a great company to work with--efficient, professional, and cost sensitive.
