Prompt. Did the job as expected. Satisfied.

We only discovered the nails in the drain line when we were having new siding installed. Allstate came out less than 90 minutes after I called them and had it complete within an hour, so that the siding crew could continue their work. The installer, Jason, was friendly and professional; he explained the problem and solution very well so that we could make a decision on how it would be resolved.

In the process of a kitchen remodel I had an incident where another plumber caused a gas leak. In dealing with that, my water heater pilot light went out and I couldn't get it restarted. I called Allstate for "emergency" service on a Saturday. Someone was at my house within a few hours, and had the water heater repaired in short order. This is not the first (or last!) time I've called Allstate. They have become MY plumbers. In all my dealings with them, they have been prompt, courteous, and above all, competent. I feel they are honest and up-front about pricing, always providing a quote before the work is done. They always explain what's involved in performing the job, and respectfully explain what they're going to do. I always come away from my dealings with Allstate with peace of mind that the job was well done and the feeling that I was treated as a valued customer.

I called Allstate at approximately 4:30 PM and within 30 minutes a plumber was on site. He worked for two hours to locate the leak and put in a temporary patch. The next day a crew was on site and had trenched and laid pipe parallel to the old pipe so that they could make the cutover without any significant loss of water to the house. The City inspector required some additional work and Allstate was quick to take care of it. The entire job was complete in about 48 hours from the first call. I never had to deal with the City and there was no disruption in service. Everyone I dealt with was very responsive and professional.

We used them twice in the last week. The first time was to put back faucets and fix drain. The plumber worked hard to make our old drain work properly. He was punctual and efficient. The 2nd time was an emergency when the toilets were not seated correctly after installing tile floors. They had a full schedule of appointments but Brenda sent a plumber quickly. This plumber also worked efficiently. Both experiences were great and I will gladly use them again.

I called them around 10am and the plumber was at our house within an hour. The receptionist was helpful and had all ready alerted the plumber that we would be using the Angies List coupon. Upon arrival, the plumber saw that we had an infant and offered to put on booties to not track any dirt in our house. The work was done fast and we have not had any problems since. I would recommend theses guys to anyone.

The owner cut off valve broke off when we were trying to turn off the water to the house. We called Allstate Plumbing and Becky put us on the schedule immediately and she told us to call her as soon as the city was at our home to shut off the water at the meter. Joel was at our home within an hour of us calling her back. He replaced the cut off valve and then found the damaged pipe when looking at the pressure reducing valve. He got what he needed to fix the pipe and replace the valve, and got us up to code by adding a strainer. He was very professional, and did an excellent job.

B.J.was courteous and professional. He explained work to my satisfaction.

Plumber repaired instant hot water unit. We were prepared to replace the unit; however, the plumber was able to repair existing unit, saving us over $200. Company provided prompt and punctual service, and the plumber was very efficient and professional. Will definitely use this company for future plumbing needs. GREAT JOB!!!!

Allstate was great - will use them again if needed!

I called Allstate first thing in the morning. I was put 2nd on their list of calls. The plumber arrived in the afternoon to start repairing. He was very friendly and informative. He got to work right away and explained what he was doing. After he finished repairing the backyard faucet, I asked him to look at my water heater. He answered my questions I had with the age of the heater and the corrosion on the pipes. I then asked him to look at my washing machine because it was leaking at the hot water hookup. It was a quick and easy fix by tightening the stem packing on the boiler drain. He was able to all of this within an hour. He was very informative and explained everything in easy layman's terms.

I had originally booked my appointment for Friday morning, but found myself at home on Thursday afternoon. I called Allstate and the dispatcher had someone scheduled to be at my home within 2 hours. The tech (Thanks BJ!) was friendly, thorough, and efficient. He didn't rush the job, but worked efficiently. My Angie's List discount covered all the parts I needed and thanks to the tech's quick work, he was in and out with only a 1 hour service fee. I was impressed with their prompt, courteous service and will immediately put them in my contacts for future needs. As a new homeowner of an older house, there's no doubt I will call again!!

They showed up promptly, the work done was excellent (both my new faucet and the toilet work better now than they have since I moved into this house), and it was done in a very timely fashion. I would definitely use them again.

I took three bids. AllState was in the middle. The man who provided the estimate was the most professional of the three bidding plumbers. He understood all of the problems, and me a clear proposal.

From the beginning I liked Allstate Plumbing. When I called, I was greeted by a very friendly woman who scheduled the appointment, and was very flexible with my schedule. On the day of the service, Glenda called me at 11:30 a.m. and said that BJ (the plumber dispatched to my house) could be there at noon instead of the scheduled 1 p.m. I told her that I was unable to be there until 1 p.m., and she completely understood. When I arrived at 12:40 p.m., BJ was waiting outside of house and ready to get working. Not only was he on-time but he was early! But that was only the beginning, BJ worked quickly but was very thorough. He looked at the problem spots in the downstairs ceiling, and went quickly to work testing possible culprits. After going from one bathroom to the next, ruling out leaks, he finally found the potential problem. He fixed it, and then walked me through exactly what he did, and other possible problem areas. He also took the time to explain things to me, i.e. showing where the plumbing vent is on my roof, and how that flashing might be a problem in the rain. Also, he fixed a rattling that I had in my kitchen sink. It took him about 45 seconds but now the rattling is gone. Overall, I would highly recommend Allstate and BJ. I will definitely be calling them again.

We had several plumbing problems that needed attention. The worst problem was a leak in an upstairs shower that was causing a water spot on the ceiling in the family room. In addition, we had three toilets that ran continuously and two drains that drained slowly. We also had a drainer and disposer flange that needed to be replaced in the kitchen sink. The plumber from Allstate arrived promptly and immediately went to work. He was very knowledgable and took care of every problem on our list. He was also courteous and professional in every way. We will call him for any plumbing problems we have in the future.

Arrive at my new home before I got there and was very pleasant. Took the time to explain what he was going to do and why it would not be a good idea to do it the way I thought it should have been done. Had to run out for parts which took about 1 hour. Was very thoughtful in how he installed the softener so salt could be added easily. Cleaned up after the job. The work was outstanding all pipes and hoses were routed plumb and were secured. The price came in higher than I expected but as the old say goes you get what you pay for. I would hire them again if the occasion arose.

My phone call was met by a very courteous lady who promptly scheduled an appointment. I received a call approximately thirty minutes before the arrival of the service man. When he arrived he was very polite. He discovered debris in the lines leading to the sinks and cleared them in a short amount of time. The whole event was handled in a most professional manner. I would clearly use them again and recommend them to others.

B.J. Cook was the company rep and plumber. He and his assistant arrived on time, assessed the problem (leak under my kitchen floor) and worked all day to correct it. They had to cut through the outside of the house and in the ceiling of our hallway, but at least did not have to tear up the slate floors! We are very satisfied with their service, cleanliness, professionalism and especially their timely arrival and work ethic. B.J. did not stop until everything was finished. In fact, a week or after this incident, we called Allstate a second time to repair a leaky bathroom shower. This job was also done quickly and very well.

AllState was very responsive and professional after we had a bad experience with DeMoss Plumbing. DeMoss charged us an outrageous amount to come out and look at the leak ($779.98). This DID NOT include the repair - just the cost to provide us with an estimate. The estimate for making the repair was $750. We were very unhappy with the way they did business. We called AllState to get an estimate from them. They estimated it would cost about $500 to repair the leak. They were very friendly and professional. Most of all they were upfront with their billing. Total charges for repairing the leak ended up being $490.39. I really wish we would have called AllState first as I am certain we could have avoided spending over $1,200 to get this leak taken care of. I feel they were knowledgeable and honest and I would definitely call then in the future if we need a plumber.

The serviceman was prompt and courteous. He explained why our garbage disposal was clogged and how he was going to repair it. He was very quick, and did a nice, clean job. He explained what not to put down the disposal in order to keep it clear in the future. Our disposal is working great now.

I loved the fact that the plumber provided us with a variety of options for repair, and also called the plumbing supply company for us to find out about special order plumbing fixtures. Installed 1/4 turn shut offs, and since it took longer than he estimated, didn't charge us for the extra time.

They did an excellent job and everything went perfectly. The price was reasonable.

These guys were great! I called them on Thursday and they were able to get me an appointment the very next day on Friday. They gave me a 1 hour window during which the plumber would arrive. He was right on time in the middle of the window. BJ (the plumber) was very nice and extremely professional. He knew exactly what he was doing and was very honest about the job and the recommendation. He took a look at my hotwater heater and after about 5 minutes of testing told me that even though it's "past its prime" (my hot water heater is 11 years old), there's no reason to replace it. He recommended replacing the TPV, which he said he could get done within the hour, meaning I would only have to pay for the service visit fee, plus parts. He got right to work and finished up in about 45 minutes. BJ was really great, very knoledgable and very honest. I will absolutely use Allstate again for all my future plumbing needs

Excellent experience from the initial phone call to the completed work. They came out the day after I called. They were able to come out the same day but my schedule would not allow me to be at home. The woman answering the phone was courteous and helpful. The plumber was on time, efficient, competant, professional and courteous.
