The plumber BJ was early, polite and professional. We had several small problems that we mentioned when we scheduled the service call. BJ came prepared with the proper replacement parts. The tenant was using the shower when he arrived so he investigated 4 of the 5 problems and waited until the tenant was finished before turning off the water and fixing the problems. He explained what he was doing and was done in an hour in spite of having to wait on the tenant. The price was less than we thought it would be. I highly recommend Allstate Plumbing & BJ.

I had low hot water pressure in both showers on the 2nd floor of a duplex. I have AHS and they sent out BB Lewis to address the issue. But this company was the worst, they didn't return calls or follow up. What made it worse is that if AHS called they always managed to answer the phone or call them back. It took more than 4 weeks for AHS to send out another plumber to complete the diagnosis since BB Lewis was so imcompetent. Maclin Plumbing came out promptly and determined it wasn't a component failure, so the work would not be covered by AHS. But they suggested that I needed to have all the plumbing upstairs replaced (2 showers and 4 sinks) for $2800. Allstate isolated the issue to clogged shower valves and flushed and cleaned so it only cost me $600.

We needed a leak test at a house we are buying. We had only two days left in our option period to get the test done. Allstate was very responsive; arrived on time; performed the test carefully; answered our questions and left the property as they found it.

I was impressed from the time I asked for a quote. I sent an email from my Angie's List account asking for a quote to remove three toilets in my home and replace them with Toto Aquia II (push-button) models I bought online. I got a call back the same day from Chris. He knew that the toilets I wanted to have installed required substantially more expertise to install than builder grade toilets. He asked me questions about the location of the supply lines and then gave me an estimate. I thought it was quite high, but Chris said that they might have to reroute the supply lines because of the design of the toilet. I knew this to be true when I read the installation instructions. He assured me that whatever plumber was assigned would have dealt with our particular model of toilet successfully before. When my toilets were delivered, I called Allstate's scheduler (Brenda?) to arrange for the installation. She pulled up my file online which was very assuring. We set a date for the install. As promised, I got a call when their plumber (BJ) was en route and he showed up on time. BJ is a master plumber and it was very obvious he is a pro. He was pleasant, polite, and professional, and he didn't waste any time. As it turned out, he did not have to reroute any of the supply lines. The work still took nearly five hours but I was expecting that it might take eight hours based on the original estimate, so I was thrilled. He even put a very neat bead of caulk around all three toilets. I might have been able to do the work myself had I known that I wouldn't need to have any supply lines rerouted. But I would have taken three times as long, made multiple trips to Home Depot and not been assured that I'd done everything right when finished. I am very happy with the quality of the work done and with the time it took BJ to do it since I was paying by the hour. Allstate Plumbing could not have done a better job at any aspect of my experience. Use them with confidence.

Always goes great. They usually have some suggestions for me on tough fixes and then complete the work on time and within a budget.

This was my second time using Allstate Plumbing. I have been really impressed both times. I've had some issues with my bathroom faucets and they initially helped me identify a problem with the cartridge. They pointed my in the right direction for plumbing supplies (Crump Plumbing Supply off Burnet - awesome) and someone who would be able to identify the part I needed. Once I had the new cartridge, they came out and installed it for me (and taught me how to do it myself the next time). It was really nice of them to teach me a few things while they were here! Both times I was lucky enought to have BJ come to my house. He is an experienced plumber and also a really nice guy! This time, he was quickly able to find the problem with my kitchen faucet and had it flushed out and fixed in about 10 minutes. He installed another cartridge in the bathroom and that was it! Always a nice experience. BJ is really the best!

Awesome ! Couldn't be happier. Will never use anyone else if they keep this up. It's really hard to get anyone out to Spicewood to do anything. Most charge a 100$ trip charge, or hymn and haw about how busy they are and how far out Spicewood is. Allstate had a master plumber out here at 8am the next day.

EXCELLENT! I called on Monday and was able to have a technician out Tuesday with the offer to have him come out earlier in the morning if a spot opened up. The Master plumber that arrived was VERY courteous and understanding of the not-so-inviting greeting by out dog. He got straight to work evaluating the water heaters in out attic space and had a good idea of the cause of our "luke warm water" in less than 5min. He then spent appx 30min evaluating the malfunctioning water heater and detemined an electrical part was broken; he replumbed the circuit b/w the 2 heaters to eliminate the malfunctioning unit and leaving us the the functioning 50gal heater on a recirculator (more than sufficient for the 2 adults in our home). He then reviewed repair cost, replacement costs and potential for tankless water heater use given the age of our 2 oversized tank heaters. No pressure, just good information and a functioning system that allows us to evaluate our options and decide our best course. Can't say enough how great it was to have things go so smoothly, quickly (done in less that 90min start to finish) and professionally, as well as economically. I will definitely use them for my next plumbing needs (including our water heater replacement).

We received an estimate in January and through our request, the work was done in March. The Master Plumber who provided the estimate was prompt, very nice, and professional. The men who came to do the work were also very courteous, clean, prompt, and efficient. They installed the new water heating system and removed the old tank.

The work was performed and a small leak was discovered. A report is being prepared for the foundation company.

Installation went well. Lines were cleaned out. Old, corroded and clogged parts were replaced.

The office was helpful in recommending I do the pre-labor digging to save myself some money. The serviceman who came out was very friendly and helpful. I had to assert my own leak check after the job was done as they didn't see this as important.

We had a house full of visitors when we determined that one of our commodes was backed up. We needed same day service to repair the commode. The service representative was punctual and got right to work. Within minutes he had determined the problem and cleared the backup. The responsiveness was great and the staff member was professional. The price was what we expected given same day service. The cost included a discount for Angie's List customers, but it was offset by an equipment use charge for the same amount.

Jason came over and I presented him with a list of the things I had discovered after buying this old house. He never seemed upset after surprising him with this list of several items instead of the two that I had called about. Jason had a common sense approach and worked quickly (important when working on "plumbers time"). Had to schedule another time to fix the cleanout and arrived promptly for that appointment also. Went beyond the call of duty and took special care when he took out the sheetrock so it could be replaced. What a great guy!!! Allstate will be My plumbers!!!

Our downstairs plumbing was backing up. Had LCRA check it out previously and they said their pump went out and replaced it. No problem for about a week. Downstairs bathroom backed up again so I called Allstate and due to ice problems they were backed up. I explained we couldn't flush any toilet etc so they came out later in the evening. Jason found the problem immediately and repaired it. He even went out of his way to double check the line to make sure there wasn't any other blockages in our line. The charge was very reasonable. They have done work for us before and have always done an excellent job.

My experience is regarding communication ONLY. I originally submitted a report giving a poor grade due to unreturned after-hours call(s), but have since heard from the president of the company apologizing for any goofs. He was caring, professional, and personally very concerned, and I would definitely consider using Allstate in the future.

He replaced cut offs under kitchen sink and disconnected water lines for kitchen remodel. We were very pleased with the work and responsiveness of this company. He was quick to do the work and very friendly. We will definitely use them again.

I called in the morning, and Allstate scheduled me for the afternoon. BJ was the Master Plumber sent. He was on time and very professional. Both he and Carlos put on "booties". They finished the job in less than an hour as estimated on the phone in the morning. They cleaned up the little messs they had, polished up my range, and they were off. I was very impressed and happy with their service. I would get them again in a heart beat.

A couple of days prior to the service man coming, a Master Plumber phoned to discuss our needs and gave us an estimate for the work. We requested Jason Lopez, one of their plumbers who had been recommended by a friend who used Allstate, to come and do the job. He arrived on time, was friendly, very professional, very efficient and wasted no time in replacing the tub drain and unclogging the lavatory. In fact, he finished under the estimated time and thus reduced our bill! Before leaving, he thoroughly checked his work for any leakage and found none. We were very happy with the entire experience and would definitely use them again. A bonus was a coupon from Angie's List for $20 off for the first service call!

Had a pipe burst during the cold snap (as did many others). Called Allstate and was impressed from the very beginning. Chris listened to my dilemma and and scheduled me for a service call the very next day, a Saturday (this cold spell turned out to be a mini catastrophe according to the insurance adjuster... so it was a miracle to get next day service!) and if I could find another plumber sooner...just give em a call to cancel...no problem. Locating the break could have been somewhat problematic (AND perhaps resulting in more water damage according to another company we contacted) ....but not for Allstate, long story short, Allstate came out (even after we had to cancel an appointment due to bad weather again), BJ located the exact area of the broken pipe, made the repair, which involved going thru a stone wall (with no damage to interior walls, which we feared) and fixed it 1,2,3. They gave us good advice on other projects. Needless to say, I am now a customer for life.

From start to finish, Allstate and their man BJ were very professional and efficient. I will definitely call them next time I need plumbing help!

Came on time. Worked till the problem was found. Protective covering on shoes and had parts he needed in truck.Polite and there was no smoking on our property at all.

After the technician (B.J.) arrived I decided to replace the water heater instead of a repair. An even better solution was determined jointly with B.J. to reroute the tank plumbing to tie into a newer in-line system that was installed to service another section of the house. B.J. was very polite, professional and did a terrific job hooking up the system on the spot. Would definitely call All State again.

Though the leak was small, the plumber found it but had to pull the stove out and turn it on its side. Then it took all of his strength to remove the connection as somehow it was rusted; the stove was brand new.
