The technician, BJ, showed up on time and was friendly and professional throughout. He quickly sized up the problems and went to work. He completed the repairs efficiently. I have used this company once before and was impressed enough the first time to call them again. They did not disappoint and I'm appreciative.

Arrived on time and set right to work. There were minor problems with the initial installation, but they came back promptly and fixed everything without additional charge. The technicians kept me abreast of how things were going and what they were doing. They didn't dawdle and they were very diligent. I will definitely recommend Allstate to my friends, neighbors and fellow Angie's List members.

My tenants hot water heater went out during a week long freeze. I called 3 plumbers on Wednesday. Allstate was the 2nd to call me back and made an appointment for Friday, though they couldn't say what time. I called in Thursday to see I the could give me a window for friday. I was told it was last call on Friday. Asking for more clarification I was told after 2:30 or 3. Friday I waited around at the property until 5 when the tenant got home. I called Allstate and they said they were still coming. I left and went to dinner and updated my tenant. I received a call at about 7:30 and was told I needed a hot water heater. He could not give me a bid, but told me he could get it to me Monday. I explained my tenants have been without hot water since Wednesday and asked if he could get me the bid tomorrow on Saturday. He said yes. He charged me $78 for the trip. I wasn't happy about that, most plumbers do not charge when service is not performed. He said he spoke to his supervisor and if hey did the hot water heater replacement they would apply the $78 to it. This felt like BS, my gut reaction was this was their normal policy and he was trying to make himself sound like he was doing me a favor. But I'm speculating so feel free to disregard. Saturday came and no bid. Monday came and no bid, though it wasn't a big deal, I'd already decided not to use them. I got a call from the office manager on Tuesday and he advised me I needed a hot water heater. I asked for a bid and he didn't have one but said he would get it to me. I got it by the end of that day and it was for $1100. I had already received another bid for $1200 and checked at lowes as well which was also $1200. I ended up getting it done by someone else for under $1000. Basically the short version of my review is that they consistently don't do what they say but are well priced. I received a thank you card and magnet a week later. A $78 dollar magnet the way I see it....

They called ahead to let me know they were on their way and arrived promptly when expected. He quickly assessed the situation and noted the hose bib needed to be replaced. He replaced the hose bib as expected.

I needed to have my shutoff valve replaced immediately. I called Allstate in the morning and they had someone come out in the afternoon. Everything was professional about the customer service and the work. I definitely recommend these folks.

In every case, they are extremely prompt, courteous, competent, efficient, and very reasonably priced. I am always impressed by their work, and the way they stand by their work. When I had an emergency leak, they came right out. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Joel (plumber) was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Allstate received my call and serviced my needs within the same day. Others had a day, or two wait. Plus, they offered a $20 coupon. Would highly recommend.

I was very impressed. Master Plumber B.J. Cook arrived on time and completed the work in a very professional manner. When the work was completed, he took the time to share some plumbing best practices. I offered Mr. Cook a modest tip for his great service and he would not accept it.

The guys at the shop(who answered the phone) and the actual tech that came out were very courteous and worked fast. I was hating to find a good plumber because I would rather do it myself. But I am glad I didnt. It would of taken me all weekend. When it only took him a couple of hours. So I will use them whenever I need a plumber. In fact, I have couple of times now. I updated the faucets outside, I got the toilet water lines updated. And I was changing out the hardware in our master bath. And the bath tub was so old and rusted, that it broke on me and I could not get it out, so I called them again. And like the past couple of times. They were there in a jiff. And got the job done. Well worth the money to have someone who knows what they are doing. Highly recommend them.

One of our toilets' input connection broke and flooded the bathroom. Allstate sent B.J., who arrived soon after we were called and told he was coming. He was very courteous, explaining some of the details on what he was going to do. We wanted to ensure other toilets in the house didn't have the same connection problems, so he inspected them and replaced two other connections. He also stabilized one toilet, and nicely caulked the toilet. Throughout the entire service call, BJ was polite, courteous, knowledgable, and efficient. He took a bit of time writing out the invoice (even admitting it was take some time), but I actually appreciated this, because the invoice was clearly written and specific to what had been done.

Michael Miller arrived at the scheduled time and did what needed to be done promptly and professionally. What needed to be done was more complicated than just dropping in the new sink because the cut up in the counter was not the correct size for the sink. But Michael said that he would make it work and he did. The results are beautiful and it all works great.

Allstate Plumbing was outstanding. Their Master Plumber, BJ is a craftsman and is a consummate professional. He Installed a garbage disposal, a reverse osmosis unit and unclogged four drains. I am very satisfied and would use them again. I highly recommend them.

He went over and beyond fixing our water heater by cleaning out our drains, helping with our electrical panel - identified that the breaker was miss labeled as well as installing commercial grade hardware. He was kind, PROFESSIONAL, informative, helped explain exactly what happened and how to help prevent in the future, showed us the equipment, hardware that was damaged, did preventative maintenance on our floor drain and educated us on commercial grade equipment vs residential grade...We are more then pleased and 1000000% satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism in Allstate's techniction

Everything was perfect. They arrived when they said they would. They were courteous and clean, and did the job well. Also, the hourly rate was lower than many of their competitors.

Excellent work by B.J. Cook.You would never know that he had installed valve.There was no mess to clean up. Highly recommended. Fair price compared to other bids.

We had our water regulator break on a Sunday afternoon and had to turn off water supply to the house and call for help. Allstate was at our home within an hour. He fixed it and we are back on track. We had called our regular plumber(who we found out doesn't do emergency after hour calls - not good). Then we called several other plumbers only to find that they didn't have the necessary part on hand. So kudos for prompt response and having the part on hand and taking care of us on a Sunday afternoon.

Went great. They were the second company I call to do the repairs. The first one said the needed to be replaced.

B.J.Cook came in asked about the problem I took him in the bathroom showed him what was going on B. .J. went right to work and finished in a respectable time. He asked if their was anything else he could help me with. Good price I would hire Allstate again.

Work went fast and smooth. Very fair price for after hours call and B.J. knows his trade. Nice work. Will definitely use this service again. Extremely professional!

B.J. was knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to have in our home. He provided a thorough explanation for each issue he found and how he went about resolving it. Everything he repaired is working well; we would not hesitate to call Allstate again.

We just moved into our house and there was an odor in the bathroom that would not go away. BJ came to check it out. He was right on time and extremely nice!! He checked everything and did a few tests. He was very professional! I will definitely recommend All State and BJ. Great company!
