Spent time thoroughly investigating what was causing the noise I kept sporadically hearing, and was able to conclusively determine what it was. Put me at ease big time.

I was very pleased with how the owner handled my complaint. He apologized and offered to mail me my $78 back without me having to ask. So although the whole thing wasted a lot of my time, at least it didn't cost me any money. Basically I think the particular plumber Allstate sent to my apartment was either having a bad day, wasn't telling the truth, or was incompetent. The owner however seemed to really care and he did his best to make me whole again.

I would highly recommend Allstate Plumbing. BJ was very helpful.

BJ arrived on time and after assessing the repair and parts needed he made a quick trip to the closest store to get a couple of parts they don't normally carry. Replumbed to help prevent the issue with freezing from happening again. Did a fantastic job. Extremely professional and courteous. Could not ask for a nicer guy. Have used BJ once before. This company is professional and very reasonably priced. I'm very happy with both service calls.

114 E Seventh St Ste 105 Drain for our restaurant cooktop was clogged. We would not be able to open the next day without it being snaked and cleaned. Called Allstate and reached a plumber in the area who came out right away after business hours (11pm). Plumber also made suggestions on how to care for the drain and what need to be done in the future to prevent future plugs. Can't ask for more than that.

On time, courteous, and very professional.

Randy did our work. He was able to schedule quickly. He called a few hours before appointment time to say when he would arrive. He had to go to several shops to find the special fittings needed to get our gas feeder hose hooked up again. He communicated completely and told us what he was doing and why. It was a fairly small and simple job, but he treated us with courtesy. Allstate is now on our list to be "our" plumber of choice. Highly recommend this company.

A part was inadvertantly not installed. I called them. They found the part and placed it in the water heater at no charge. I though that was very responsible.

WOW! Do yourself a favor and add Allstate Plumbing to your preferred provider list. Michael was a super efficient multi tasker who simultaneously replaced parts and tweaked problems. Bottom line is he fixed 9 issues in one hour. For me, this was one of the best house service calls ever!

The gentleman was on time and courteous. He came in looked at the shower handle took it off. I asked if the cartridge needed to be replaced he said he didn't think so. Then said he had to go to shop to get the handle part. He came back started to put the shower handle and then said it was missing another part, but he didn't have it in his truck. He said it was a sleeve that covered were the handle went he then told me that I could go to home depot to get it and gave me the part number. So instead of going back to the shop and getting it, he looked at another problem he found with my shower head hose, he did try to fix it but couldn't and told me needed to go get a new hose. I went to home depot with the part number of the sleeve and it wasn't a sleeve but the cartridge I had asked him about. So, the whole reason I hired them it didn't even get everything completely fixed, instead I got charged $20 for a part that cost $13 at home depot and paid $120 for replacing a plastic handle that I could have done. Now I have find someone to come out and do the job. UPDATED: From the above review with out me initiating anything, I did get a call from All State saying that they wanted to make things right. They set up the appointment came out with the right parts and got the job done efficiently and quickly. They replaced the cartridge and handle and actually told me that the handle has been put on the wrong way since I have owned the house and that could have been one of the issues. From the person who called me to the plumbers who came out they were very apologetic and really wanted to make it right. They did not charge me for the 1st time they came out but did charge me for this visit which was actually slightly higher because of the part. I have no problem paying this as all I really was wanting was the job done right. The reason I gave a B for price and overall is because it did cost me, time and extra money because I did have to take 2 days off work instead of one. This is the 3rd time I have used them and even though there was a mishap on this repair I appreciate a company that wants to and finds a way to make things right and for that I would use them again.

Discovered the water leak on Sunday, called Allstate at 7:30 AM Monday. (Fortunately it was a relatively slow leak, ~10 gal/hour.) They couldn't come out until the next morning, but I was able to consult with Carl while on the phone to talk about what I should/shouldn't do in the meantime. Keith arrived the next morning, promptly fixed the cracked PVC, and even cut away the big tree root that was putting pressure on the pipe and caused the crack. Very friendly/professional tech. I like Allstate's straightforward labor billing. 1 hour minimum, additional time in 15 minute increments.

First class professionals: Fast/ Effective/ Cost efficient ($98/ hr). Honest. Arrived within time range. Wore shoe covers to protect carpets. Answered stupid questions. (A surprisingly pleasant experience considering.) Thank you Joel and Steve.

Augured the drain pipes in 2 lavatory, repaired various leaks on sink handles & valves. | |"BJ", is the most honest plumber to serve us in Austin yet. We don't have to question his abilities or invoices, we feel te work is exceptional and a good value for whatever we need done. | |Highly recommend this entire company - from answering their phones to sending someone quickly we have never been disappointed. We appreciated their contacting us to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction & it always is. Would not use any other plumbing company again.

I was impressed with the service. They did a great job, and even cleaned up after themselves which is always appreciated. There was one little problem with the installation of one of the faucets, but I called and they came back the next day to fix it with no issues.

They were great. Their price was lower than another bid. They did excellent work. They were about $600 lower than the other bid.

Mikael was the service technician. He called before he came, and was on time. So far, everything is working fine. I would definitely use Allstate Plumbing again.

The plumber fixed 2 out of three problems in my home. The third (in order to save me money) he showed me what parts I needed to buy and how to fix it myself. I would definitely recommend this company and BJ specifically.

I called during the holidays and they quickly fit me in with the exact tech (BJ) that I requested. BJ was awesome. He explained what he did and how to care for and troubleshoot the new disposal. He was thorough, honest and detailed. After a very shady overselling experience with Radiant, Allstate and BJ will now handle all of my plumbing needs.

The plumber was great; courteous, prompt and efficient. I love that Allstate provides a shorter window for scheduling thank other plumbers I've contacted (i.e. in the afternoon rather than between 10-4), and that they actually show up the same day. I was scheduled for the afternoon and they called 30 minutes ahead to say they would be there at noon. I also appreciate that Allstate's billing is simple...$98 minimum, but this goes toward the first hour of work. Plus they offer $20 off for Angie's List members. Another plumbing company I contacted wanted to charge a $49 trip fee, a shop fee, an hourly rate, plus charge me for replacement materials Allstate said I didn't need; the other company's estimate was $185.

I contacted this company when our regular plumber could not see us today. After checking Angie's list I contacted Allstate. They initially said they would be out in early afternoon. But they called late morning at and came early. They quickly fixed everything. Joel, the lead plumber, was courteous and helpful. His assistant was also quite good. I would use this company again!

Very professional and proficient. Kept me informed on findings and progress on work. They were recommended by the leak detection service I used. Definitely recommend.

All I needed was to get this big bulky gas line coupler dealy recessed into the wall because the oven was sticking out in the room and making it so I couldn't open the dishwasher. My plumber was B.J. Cook and he got the job done in under an hour. After he got it done and I slid the oven into place, much to my dismay, the handle of the lower oven was still in the way of the dishwasher opening, but just barely. B.J. quickly just popped out one of the screws holding the dishwasher in place and ever so slightly rotated it so if made it past the oven. Then after all the paper work was done and he was off the clock I mentioned I had a leaky valve in the shower. He came and looked at it, explained it great detail exactly what I would need to do to fix it, then even took me out to the van to give me a quick lesson. He wrote down all the parts I would need and where to get them and even gave me a couple seats that he pre-sealed with this plumbers sealing gloop (a stand in for teflon tape). I was just entirely blown away. You need to give these guys your business and ask for B.J. I'm assuming that that would be good for him and he deserves it.

It was Saturday at 6:00 pm when I first became aware of the leak. OMG, who would come out on a Saturday to repair the leak was my first question. Angie's listwas my first respsone. I found Allstate plumbing higly rated, I call AllState and Michael called back within 20 minutes. He was on a call but promised he would come and help quickly after he finsihed his first job. He arrived at 9:30 pm and repaired the leak within an hour. The rate for evening hours was $147. He honored the $20 coupon so I only paid $127. I think that was great for a Saturday evening. Michael was very professional, cordial, kept me informed and I believe did an A+ repair. Next time I have a repair, I know who I am calling.
