AllPro Overhead Door

Everytime I left the house, the garage door wouldn't stay down. The technician took his time and made sure he fixed everything needed and now the door works great.

I called and received an appointment right away. The technician was extremely thorough and explained everything he did to ensure the proper working of my garage door. He was friendly and quite professional; the door worked even better after he finished his assessment. Great service!

The entire visit went very quickly and efficiently. I remained in the garage while the two technicians worked, and asked a few questions, particularly about adjusting the settings on the opener, which they responded to pleasantly and with useful answers. The service solved two problems very effectively. First, the nylon rollers were remarkably effective in making the door move more quietly. Second, my door was getting stuck in the up position periodically. Adjusting the up "stop" position of the door fixed this problem entirely - the door had been stopping by virtue of reaching the end of its travel and mechanically getting bound up; with the stop set, it was no longer colliding with anything. Amazing how well things work when they are operating as intended. Very good value for $99 - my garage door went from spotty to perfect.

They were quick and efficient. I also paid to have my mom's garage door done, they were that good.

We are living in our home for fourteen years and during this time experianced on and off trouble with one of the garage doors, not opening and closing properly. We did consult some company before, only to hear that a new garage door would be required. With Angies special garage door service offer we were also looking for a second opinion about the issue. The service man was very polite and very professional. After inspecting the door he pointed out the top part of our garage door and there it was........ or better it was not, the cross bar on top of the garage door was missing. Our builder actually had omitted that part resulting in an everlasting issue when using that door. The Service man installed that bar which is necessary for lifting/closing the door in a balanced way and also exchanged all the rollers. After fourteen years, we finally can use the door in a proper way. We really appreciate this company for it's honesty (not pushing a new product) and extremely good job performance. Shall we need a new garage door indeed, this will be the first number we shall call.

They were on time, courtesy, made sure I was satisfied and patient with me.

Not great. First, It was apparent and obvious immediately that the 2 guy were there to get in and out as fast as possible. As the foreman was introducing himself, his assistant was already tearing at the garage door. Second, to get the old rollers out and new rollers in, they took a pair of pliers and bent the s*** out of the 4 inch edge of the rail. When I objected, they said they would bend the steel all back into shape. Well, it still looks pretty bent up to me. Note: To get the rollers out they have to undo the big main spring coils with special wrenches. Third, they were very knowledgeable on any questions. They answered a few questions great. Fourth, they sprayed lubricant all over the place. Not carefully at each hinge pin, but just shot the whole hinge. Again, indicating they were planning to get out of there ASAP. Fifth, they did align the left rail to be more vertical, which also helped with some of the squeaking and squealing. Once, finished, it did seem quieter. Within days, and since, for the last several months, we cannot get the door to stay closed. It continually, 7 of 10 times, still, the garage door "bounces" at the bottom. After calling them about it, they told me which screw to adjust. I have adjusted that thing 15 times and it still will not find the sweet spot. Door will not stay closed or it stops before bottom with a gap. The reduced squeaking and squealing lasted about 1 months. Now after 3 months, it is actually worse than before they came. I called, they said lubricate it, use a grease-less garage door lubricant. Not a single indication or interest in them correcting it. We do not have a high end garage door, it is the aluminum tin can type. It is not old or rusty. It is a 2 card wide model. Not pleased. Walt

It was a good price. I expected a little more from it. He did my garage door, changed the wheels, and my door does sound better. I thought they would have cleaned the light out and looked on the inside to make sure there wasn’t anything wrong with it. When I saw ‘tune-up,’ I thought they would let me know more information and actually ‘tune-up’ the entire garage door. They didn’t do a bad job; I just didn’t fully understand the big deal.

Service personnel was prompt and knew what they were doing. I was under the impression that door would be quieter but after service I did not see any difference.

Bought the Angie's deal for our 17 year old garage doors. The tech came over when he said he would, performed the service and gave me tips on prolonging the life of the doors and openers. He was knowledgeable and professional. The job for two doors took about 45 minutes. I'd call AllPro again if I need service or replacement of our doors or openers.

My 16 foot garage door had a gap at the bottom on one side. I used the Angie's List Coupon to get the service guys out here for the tune-up, but also to replace one dented panel, and lower one side of the door to close the gap at the bottom. First off, I was told that they could lower the door on one side, but then the joint lines would not be parallel with the top of garage. My problem was that the driveway was sloped to one side. They suggested I use a glue down garage door threshold on the low side. I hadn't heard of that item before. A rubber threshold that glues right to the concrete. They said they would get one for me if I wanted. I agreed, but they never called back on that item. I ended up finding one myself. The next problem was the dented panel. Even though my house is only six years old, they told me my door was not being made anymore, so they couldn't replace the panel. Instead, they pounded it out a bit, and it doesn't look too bad now. The next step was doing the "tune-up", which really only amounted to replacing the rollers with quieter ones, and a bit of banging on the roller tracks. That whole process took less than 10 minutes. I still have the gap at the bottom, but the new rollers made a very big difference in the noise level. Now, opening or closing, there is only a quiet hum from the motor. If my opener wasn't new, or the springs needed adjusting, I suppose their service might have taken a bit longer, and I'd have noticed a bigger improvement. As my opener was new, and the springs were already well balanced, all I noticed was the reduction in noise, but that was significant. I think the whole service was done in less than 20 minutes, and half of that was talking about solutions for the gap. They were prompt, and very quick.

The appointment was easy to make - the phone was answered promptly. Company was flexible in times available. Called the day before to confirm the appointment, then called again before coming out and was prompt. Quickly performed the promised services as well as made an adjustment to the door to stop the grinding chain noise and realigned so it closed smoothly. Very satisfied with the service.

Great service, on time arrival, no issues, and actually checked a few things with no charge to our surprise!Delighted!

They came out and my garage door wouldn't open. They got it opened up and they couldn't get to the rollers because I had boxes in the way. They told me they couldn't do it because boxes were in the way and they would come back at a different time. I felt like they were in a hurry. They did give me a rain check. I decided to get my money back from Angie's List.

He was professional and punctual. I appreciated that he made recommendations for future garage door replacement, as my garage door is 13 years old. He gave an approximate time frame for the life of my current door and directed me to his website when I am ready to purchase a new one. He even offered to credit the amount I had prepaid for his visit toward a new door if I was ready to replace the current door that day. When I am ready to replace the door, I will definitely call him.

The technician came on time, did a great job and was very professional.. The garage door opens very smoothly now. Highly recommend this company.

It was very satisifactory overall. I would definitely use them again. I purchased a garage door tune up with this company. They were very responsive and easy to work with. The technician arrived on time, was very informative and courteous and performed the work quickly and without trying to upsell me on anything. He pointed out a few things to keep an eye on with our system -- and the garage door works beautifully and is much quieter.

They did a wonderul job from top to bottom. They were out exactly when they said for the maintenance visit, and left the garage floor cleaner than when they began. They came out to fix the sweep exactly when promised, and again left the garage cleaner than when they started.

Our two garage doors have seen a lot of use and were showing and sounding their age. The guys at AllPro came out and inspected them for safety, lubricated all of the moving parts, replaced the rollers and generally gave everything a good going over. They did a great job of reinforcing one of the doors that had metal wear and was bending in the wrong place. All of this was done the same day that I called and in just under 90 minutes.
