All Area Overhead

It was fine. I gave him a "no" as I hope to not need my garage door repaired again for a long time. Since I got a whole new opener and it only took 15 minutes to tune my garage door, he could have cut me a break on the new unit. He was very professional and on time and I would recommend him again.

Asked to come earlier that day which was fine, then called to let me know it was taking longer than he thought-a courteous gesture. Went to work as soon as he arrived and was professional. When making the appointment I told him our exterior keypad may need to be replaced. He checked out the keypad, reprogrammed, and did not charge!!!! Would definitely recommend and call for myself.

We had problem with the garage getting stuck when it was coming down, and they replaced that spring for us. The technicians were very professional and helpful. They got the project done in a timely manner, but importantly they got it done right.

I used All Area Overhead. Alan was FANTASTIC! I bought the deal a week before and Alan called ot schedule an appointment. Because my schedule was so crazy it took a week to find a time that fit MY SCHEDULE. Alan was very flexible and very easy to work with. He came out at 7 in the morning on Tuesday to give my door a quick tuneup and change the rollers. While we were scheduling our appointment I told him my sensors weren't working. I had bought some new ones to replace and he told he he'd take care of changing those out. When he got down to it they weren't wired properly and he fixed the wiring and never required new sensors! He placed new rollers on the door and tightened everything up. While all of this was going on he told me what kind of door I had and how I was probably going to need to change it some day in the future. He told me these doors are cheaper manufacture doors and they weren't meant to last. BUT he never gave me a quote or told me to change it right away. He said to just use it till it can't work anymore then change it out. Not many companies tell you to wait it out. Most want you to update ASAP with their company. I will use this company again in the future for all issues with my garage door, discount or not!

Allen was fantastic. Our roller bar broke from the previous installer using inferior equipment, causing our very heavy wood door to be stuck closed with our cars inside. Allen came out on a Saturday morning and was able to get the door open so we could drive our cars. He then came back later that week and replaced the rod and bearings, for a very reasonable quote. He even added a support bar that wasn't in the original quote because it needed it. Great guy, very professional, you can tell he takes pride in his work and job. A+

Excellent... my garage door started falling apart on Christmas Day. They came out and took a look and gave me repair vs replace options on the 26th. Since the door had already been repaired several times by the previous owner of the house, I chose to replace. They came back two days later and had the new (and better quality) door installed and working great within a couple of hours. Very professional, efficient, and right about at the amount I wanted to pay (I feared it would cost much more).

Excellent and professional service. Garage was stuck half way due to a broken cable. Technician came out within a few hours of call and did the work promptly and also performed some additional maintenance needed.

Called Allen to have a strut installed on my sagging garage door, and decided to have him do a tuneup at the same time since it had been 8 years since last adjusted. Set up an appointment for two days later, and he gave me a 2-hour window. On the day of appointment, he called me twice to update me on when he would arrive; ended up right in the middle of that window which worked perfectly for me. He installed the needed strut and then did an extremely thorough tuneup of the door. It went from a sqeaky rattling clunking door to a nice quiet smooth door. There were a number of things he did that made this a much better experience than the last garage door company that worked on the door. Although he noted some things that were signs of wear and age, rather than try to sell me or use scare tactics, he simply said we should continue to use the door until it REALLY needed replacing. He gave me a number of tips on things to watch and how to maintain. I asked his opinion of my garage door opener and he said in his opinion it was the best brand available. Clearly his objective is to give efficient, professional service and do it honestly. I certainly plan to use him in the future and strongly recommend him to others.

The services provider arrived later than expected due to a transportation issue. However, the technical person did a good job on the garage door tune up, replaced the rollers and provided input as to the door operation and how to mitigate future issues.

I sent All Area an email on Wed evening explaining that my garage door spring had just broken (it was after hours so I did not call) and requested a service call the next day if possible. Allen called me within about 10 minutes after sending the email. We set an appt time for the next day between 5 and 7pm. He called around 3:30 on Thursday asking if I was going to be around the house as he had a client reschedule and could come sooner. He had given me an estimate on the phone the evening before but when he examined my garage door opener lowered the cost as I had different springs. Having no knowledge of garage door parts he could have stayed with his estimate and I would not have known the difference. I appreciated his honesty. I am sure there are some out there that would have not adjusted the price. I would hire this company again without hesitation!!

I have used All Area twice before for other garage door issues and they have been absolutely wonderful. Professional, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, very high quality work, good prices. When I needed a new opener for this door I did not hesitate to call them to do the job. And Allan did a fantastic job as always.

I was very pleased with the service. I own a home in TX, but work and live in a different state. My tenants contacted me saying there was an issue with garage door not closing all the way. Prior to using the company's services, a competitor provided me with an estimate and stated that I needed to replace the opener. Not only the gentleman from AllPro showed up in a timely manner, he also told me that the opener was just fine and couple of metal rails needed straightening and lubricating. He charged me $125. I must say that I VERY MUCH APPRECIATED the HONEST and PROFESSIONAL way in which the matter was handled. While the competitor was going to charge me $360 and replace the part that was not broken, these guys were honest and ethical and did not take advantage of the fact that I was in a different state and couldn't see for myself. Highly recommend them.

Due to the door being broken the tune up could not be done. They are coming back to fix the door at a later date.

GREAT JOB...on time, professional, didn't try to "fix things that weren't broken"...gave good tips on what to look for as the system aged.

This was a great experience. Our garage door has been acting up - the rollers were coming out of the track and the door would stall. Even when the door functioned it was so loud and shaky. I called All Area Overhead and was able to get service the same day. Allen was extremely polite and was easy to work with. Allen was very conscientious of my time. He gave me a two hour window that he thought he could come out and then kept me updated. He came within the original time frame, but because of his updates I was able to go out and get other stuff done. He fixed the door by replacing two pulleys, changed the rollers, and adjusted the door. He didn't take long, and the door is so quiet now and works like a charm!

My garage door had trouble closing and was so squeeky, but not anymore.

Very easy to work with. He responded to my email on Sunday and we scheduled him to come out a couple days later.

I called Allen up on the phone and explained that i wanted the maintenance performed on the garage door . I called him back later and explained that it was the spring that snapped . Allen was very easy to work with he was always available. The next person that works on my garage door will be Allen

I was pleased that the cost was fair [due to Angie's list pricing], and feel safer after getting the garage door inspected and the rollers replaced.

The provider showed up on time and was very thorough and efficient. My garage door rails were lubricated and he rollers were checked and faulty ones were replaced. The service was very professional and the provider was personable and knowledgeable.I would definitely contract their services again.

My garage door opener failed, shearing off the drive sprocket and forcing manual operation. I called All Area Overhead and liked how I was treated. Mr. Allen Mimms was exceptionally professional and accommodating, a very good communicator and pleasant. He was very knowledgeable, worked quickly, but thoroughly. He had all the parts on his truck, so no waiting or returning to finish the job. He recommended changing the rollers, but advised they weren't completely worn out yet, so not mandatory. The gentleman was on time, worked efficiently, gave good suggestions, didn't rush but also didn't take too long to service the garage door. He was professional, polite, pleasant.
