Allen did a great job of tuning it up and explaining the good and bad things.

Tech called several times to keep me informed of his arrival time and arrived within the previously notified time. They worked with me on the cost of the service by discounting the installation of the new torsion spring. Also, an external keypad and additional remote was included at no additional charge. The tech was very friendly and cleaned up when the work was complete. I am very satisfied with their work, found the pricing to be fair and reasonable and will definitely use them again.

Came home at lunch and discovered that the garage door opener would not lift the door more than 2 feet off the ground. A little investigating, and I found that one of the springs on our 2-car garage door was broken. I knew this wasn't a fix I wanted to do myself, so I logged on and found All Area Overhead. I called them, described the problem, got an estimate, and scheduled the work for early the next morning. I got a call back a little later because they ran into a scheduling conflict, so they offered to come by that evening. I told them that I couldn't be there before 6:45 pm, and they said that time would be fine. The technician arrived right on time, had the correct replacement springs in his truck, and got to work. He replaced both springs, checked the door operation, lubricated the door and took away the old springs. I was very pleased with their responsiveness, their willingness to work around my schedule, and the service they provided. They were professional and efficient, and I would definitely use them again.

Allen was fantastic, he explained my current garage door operating status and what needed to be done. He did not try to up-sale me, which I really appreciated. I found him to be honest, knowledgeable and efficient. When I have a Garage door issue (which I will because my doors are old) All Area Overhead will be the only company I use. Allen also helped me program my garage openers ...yeah! A+ company

We were having trouble with our garage opening with our clickers and exterior keypad yet we could open and close the door from the inside. We found AllPro on Angie's List as they were one of the highest rated companies and they were still open at 3:00 on a Saturday. We called to see if someone could help us, hoping that they could walk us through a possible solution. Alan answered the phone and once he knew our issue, quickly started walking us through how to re-program our remotes and the exterior keypad. It would have been very easy for them to say that our issue required a technician to come out, but instead they took the high road and decided to help us out. FOR FREE! What a great company that making the customer happy in the short term, is far better than the profit they would have made off of us. They have customers for life with us!

He was great. He even went above and beyond. The garage door feels great. It is not a big company. It is pretty much just him. We were able to get him pretty quickly, which was great.

I called All Area about 4pm yesterday after doing my Angie's List research. The phone was answered promptly. I explained that a torsion spring had broken on one of our two garage doors and that both doors were in desperate need of a tune-up and lube. We set an appointment for between 12-2 on July 3 - today. I was told that Keith would be the technician. Keith arrived on schedule. He diagnosed some of our major problems when I opened our one functioning door. LOL He explained that our double steel insulated doors are extremely heavy and the plastic rollers that came with our Genie gear drive openers were not adequately handling the weight of our doors and are causing extra work for the gears - thus lots of noise and squeaks. This is the second time in 5 years we've questioned those plastic rollers, the first was with another company. I asked why the rollers didn't have ball bearings. He explained that plastic rollers are fine for most doors but are strained with doors like ours. He said that the rollers and gears could be lubed, the door adjusted, and our doors would be some quieter. He also mentioned that the old rollers could be replaced with ball bearing rollers that would better handle the weight of our doors and help the gear drive raise the door easier. We jumped on replacing those plastic rollers. In just over an hour Keith replaced the broken torsion spring, replaced and lubed rollers on both doors, inspected and lubed the gear drives, and tightened and lubed any thing that moved on those doors. And that's with my husband hovering in the garage. I forgot to add that the new rollers necessitated adjusting the existing torsion spring and that the rollers have a lifetime warranty. I know it's early in the game, but right now we are extremely pleased with the service we received. Keith was knowledgeable, confident, and capable. He explained everything in detail and answered all our questions. The price was reasonable for the quality of work performed. We will call All Area Overhead for future garage door issues. I'm very picky and I'm pleased.

Dealings with Allen, owner of All Area Overhead were enjoyable experiences. With first contact (garage door opener not working), he returned call immediately and came out the next day. He explained the difference between garage door opener options to help us decide. The door opener was installed right then and there, when he made the diagnostic. With water damage to our wood doors, we needed to get them replaced. Allen spent extensive time explaining to us the differences between the old-style heavy wood doors, "regular" metal doors; and insulated metal doors. We decided on an insulated metal door, but we did not like the look of the options from his regular supplier. Allen did extensive research and many phone calls to find a door we liked. During the process, every time I phoned, he answered the phone or quickly me back. He bent over backwards to give us a good price and good service. He's five stars across the board. We cannot say enough good things about Allen.

They arrived right at the time we agreed- and went right to work on the maintenance/ roller replacement on one garage door. Used high quality parts, thoroughly explained what they were doing. While they were at my home, I contracted them directly to check and fix my other garage door- lift sensor was not working properly. They diagnosed the faulty sensor, and replaced the unit and performed a full check. Doors work perfectly- am delighted at the quality of work and price!

I purchased a $99 garage door service "offer" off Angie's list. He replaced rollers and oiled joints and assessed the state of my garage doors. discussed future options and precautions with current doors. offered to help set up new universal remote if I had trouble doing it--though I didn't, because his instructions were so detailed. I would definitely use his company when it is time to replace the doors.

If all companies were this good, there would never be any customer complaints. Allen called before arriving and was on time. As others have reported, if he finds a minor problem, he will repair it and not charge. He noticed a hinge on the overhead door was cracked & replaced it--no charge. I will happily recommend All Area Overhead. You will not be disappointed.

The owner of the company called me promptly to set up an appointment, when I purchased the garage door tune up. The technician arrived promptly and estimated that the job would take an hour . . . and it did just about that. I had additional issues with a second garage door (wouldn't open) which the technician estimated would cost an additional $169 which I approved. Technician was very polite and attentive to my garage door needs.

Spoke to Allen several times regarding a broken torsion spring. After receiving multiple quotes I decided on the best price and best overall rating from Yelp and Angies List. His tech came out and I asked him about the loudness of the door. He said that the tune up would help a lot (which it did) but said that some of the noise is coming from the bearings in the wheels. He said they could change them out but said that are in fine operating condition and if it was his money he would not replace them yet because they were still functioning properly and told me what to look out for when they start going bad. I very much appreciate the honesty. All Area overhead door did not disappoint. Beat the competition by over $50, had job completed very quickly, and great to work with. Will definitely recommend to anyone who asks. Lived up to 5 star rating on Yelp and A rating on Angies List.

He did a perfect job. Then he decided not to charge me anything because of my previous military service. That was both truly amazing and totally unexpected.

Allen came out to fix the garage door the same day that I called, and he arrived right on time. The problem with our garage door was caused because one of the several rollers had cracked. He immediately replaced all of the rollers. The garage door now works great, and more quietly than it has worked for quite some time. The fee charged was very, very reasonable. Allen was polite and punctual. I will certainly call All Area Overhead next time we need a repair on our garage door or opener!
