We had some communication problems before they came out, but I am satisfied that they did a good job. Only time will tell if the problem was fixed, but from what I could tell from watching the work they were thorough, professional and did everything that could be done. In addition I was happy to see that when they covered the hole they took the time to hand toss a large amount of the gravel back rather than just scrape it all back in the hole with the backhoe. They did not have to do that but that tells me they were trying to do whatever they could to do the best job they could. I could not have complained if they just pushed all the dirt back in with the bucket but, in theory at least, putting at least some of the gravel by and under the line should help maximize the draining of the field. They did not suggest me doing anything that would have been, in my opinion, construed as trying to oversell or pad the work. The final price was less than I expected. They did what needed to be done in an efficient manner. They were happy to answer any questions that I had during the process. I only gave a "B" on price not because I thought they charged too much but because I did not shop around for prices. Therefore I have no idea if it was more or less than the "going rate" for such a repair. If the repair works out I would consider the price well worth it considering what a new system would most likely cost. They cleaned up after themselves and did a minimum of damage to my lawn with their equipment. I am 61 years old and admittedly have unrealistic standards for today's world. Like someone looking you in the eye and not BS'ing you and at least trying to give you value for the dollars they charge. Chances are ( at least I hope ) I will never need their services again, but that should not keep them from trying to do an honest job for an honest price. Very seldom do I find that from any business these days. Vince and his crew met those expectations and I want to thank them for their lack of "slickness". Just real people trying to make a living and performing a valuable service.

This is my first house that I've owned with a septic tank and was the first time I had a septic tank pumped out so I did not really know what to expect even though I had done some research on the Internet. I was pleased I selected All American Wastewater Solutions. Everything was very professionally done. Judy went out of her way answering my many questions and Joe, who did the actual cleaning out of the septic tank, was also equally good in explaining what he was doing and answering my questions about my septic system. The price that was charged was very reasonable and my overall experience with the company excellent.

Hard to schedule and I had to call them a couple of times, once to ask if they were coming and when. They didn't seem to know, since the truck was way up north from me. I suggested they reschedule when they have other jobs in my area. Then on re-schedule I suggested that we re-schedule again due to the icy weather and closed roads. They agreed they didn't want their trucks out on the ice. When they finally came, the guy dug a little to expose the tops which were from 1993. One top was cracked, so he said they both needed to be replaced. He pumped the tanks and said someone would get back to me to replace the covers with the newer green ones. I called their office and asked them to estimate cost and get out to replace the older tops. The woman who answered said that someone would call me back right away. No one ever called back. Guess they are more than busy just pumping which they are good about. After waiting a couple of days for them to call, I looked up Ausitin Septic Supply Company, Inc. on Hwy. 620 and went there to get what was needed. They were very helpful. I'm 70 yrs old, but decided to do it myself. Not a huge deal, but if a company advertises they 'repair septics', then they should be able to do it or at least call back and give advice on who might or where to go to get the parts to do it myself. Don't bother waiting for this company to call. Just put on your big girl pants and "Do it!"

Called on a Monday to schedule service ASAP. Agent on phone was very polite and professional. Quoted the job and provided all the needed details in respect to pricing, weather, and what would be completed. The tech showed up next day and was polite and efficient. The job completed the job as expected.

I purchased my Westlake property last summer - Snowden Onsite Septic had been servicing this property up until that point. I shopped out the annual maintenance and All American was ~$50 less expensive per year so I awarded them my business. All American came out on a regular basis to service my Perc Rite septic system - I didn't have any complaints with them at the time. Earlier this month the alarm light went off on my septic and All American sent Brandon Blevins out to troubleshoot - it's at that point that I came to realize that All American was not in a position to provide me with the right level of support. The tech performed some basic troubleshooting tests but had to call a 800 number for the manufacturer as he was unsure as to why my septic was having issues. The tech was unable to get a hold of anyone for quite some time and when he finally did get a hold of a live representative he made some changes which did not fix the issue. The tech left 6 hours later and my tanks started overflowing with septic liquid the next day. I called Vince the owner and was given a bid for ~$800 to replace 5 different components. Moreover, in Vince's bid he noted that this might not fix the problem but would help them isolate the issue. Based on my observations of the tech's familiarity with my Perc Rite systems and Vince's bid I decided to cut my losess and have the folks from Snowden come out to fix the problem - that was the best move I could have made. Snowden came out at realized that I only have 1 drain field, hence they could use the working parts form zone 2 to replace the broken parts in zone 1. They then capped of the piping for zone 2 since it's not in use. The Snowden tech then fished one of the pipes and unstuck a value which was contributing to the issue. Net is that Snowden spend a few hours on the job and I didn't have to spend any money on parts replacement. Total for the day was $417 whereas Snowden wanted ~$800 w/ no guarantees that my issue would be fixed. Moreover, Snowden fixed a leak in a pipe near as air release value - that wasn't in All American's bid so I would have had to have paid extra for that. Note that I asked the ALl American tech why the zone 2 controls in the control box were taped closed with 'do not use' written under the switches and he simply shrugged his shoulders saying that he didn't know. It's crazy to think that the All American tech didn't know that I only had one drain field - if he would have realized that I expect that Vince would have given me a different quote - but who knows. My lesson here is that you get what you pay for - and when it comes to high end septic systems (like the Perc Rite) you should pick the best. I cancelled my contract with All American on Monday and have since moved my annual maintenance agreement over to Snowden.

Everything went perfectly. I have no complaints and cannot think of any improvements I'd recommend.

I talked to the lady in the office and she scheduled someone to come out and they even set a reminder of when our appointment was going to be. They were very friendly and on time. The man who came out was very informative and great. We have some knowledge of septic systems, but it was nice to know that he was on top of everything.

They actually came out on two seperate occations. In both instances all employees, from the delightful lady that answers the phone and sets the schedule to all the guys that came out and figured out the problem and SOLVED it, were polite, professional, prompt and hard working. Austin needs more service providers like these folks.

Had AAWS pump our septic tank. Their Service Tech, Joe, was on time, knowledgeable, and went right to work. He also did an inspection of the system and made us aware of some issues with our 20 year old system that needed our attention. An AAWS service tech will be returning to do a more in depth inspection and provide an estimate as to what it will take to fix. We believe in preventative maintenance and never felt any sales pressure from Joe. :-)

The price was reasonable. They were very helpful and they kept in touch with me on what was going on and when to expect someone. They were reliable.

People I talked to were very nice and polite. When I called to inquire on a quote for septic tank emptying, she told me it starts at $350.00. Oh, she was right, they had a "extra" fees for literally everything. Apart from that, I was happy with the work. They were prompt and on time, polite, and quick with the work.

I have a fairly large septic system with both black and gray water tanks. I scheduled a tank clean out for up to 3000 gallons - 4 tanks of 750 gal. each. I did the work ahead of time in uncovering the tanks and preparing them for inspection to save myself some money. The technician arrived promptly and inspected the tanks. We determined that the gray water did not necessarily need a clean out this time. The technician was friendly and gave good general tips around maintenance, i.e. no grease down the drains, how often to switch between drain fields, etc. He also did not try to sell me on pumping out the other 1500 gallons of gray water tanks which I appreciated since it saved me money.

I called the company to discuss the late arrival issue. They were VERY considerate and happy to talk to me. I spoke with the scheduling lady and the company owner at length, and was very satisfied when finished. I would use this company again, and have recommended them to others already.

Our septic system had not been serviced in over 20 years, we had mistakenly subscribed to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy of septic tanks. Huge mistake. In the months preceding the service our system had been acting up, with backfills in the toilets and bathtubs. Our initial inspection did not have very good news; the tank was almost full of solids and the tank would have to be excavated and thoroughly drained. The work was done very quickly, and about 80% of the solids were removed. A new riser cap was installed so we would not have to hunt for the septic cap in the future. We were advised to have the system sucked out again in a year to clear the remaining solids, and thereafter clean the system every six years. We will certainly follow the advice! We gave this company an overall A rating because they performed in an excellent manner from start to finish. We will certainly use them for our septic system needs in the future, and will recommend them to anyone needing similar service on their systems.

Went fine, but $742 to replace an air pump? Really?

Their service was fast, professional, and they were able to perform the exact service I was looking for. They excavated and replaced my collapsed drain line and they flushed and installed two clean-outs in the drain field. I was very impressed with how quickly they worked and how thoroughly the job was performed.

After wasting time with another company that apparently didn't need any more business, I called All American. This was a Friday, and they said they were booked up but could come out on Monday. I told them that our household was unable to use any water because the pump was not working. I was put on hold for about five minutes, and when the representative came back she said that they had people working in my area and that they could probably squeeze me in that afternoon. Brandon called about a half hour later and said that he was finished early and could come out now (this was about 10:00am). He arrived within 30 minutes, listened to my recap of what I had noticed and experienced with the system, and then started checking it out. When he removed the pump it was obvious that something was blocking the inlet, and when tested it came up burned out. He replaced the pump and tested the drain fields and we saw liquid bubbling to the surface on one of the two drain fields (I'm lazy about switching the fields and hadn't noticed this because that field had not been used in a while.) He dug up around the leaking spot and saw that the manifold was broken. While replacing the manifold he found that some other pipes attached to it were also broken. Vince arrived about this time and started working on pumping the tanks. He had to dig to find the clean-out lid for the first section of the main tank, and then started pumping. All told, they had the system cleaned out, repaired, and working fine through one drain field before 2pm. Brandon said that he needed more parts to finish the other drain field and would have to come back the following week to finish, which he did. Now both drain fields are working fine.

They are quick, professional, and they know what their doing. They are over priced. I was having concerns about my cable and compressor making noises, but they didn't want to come without charging me. Other then that I have not had any problems with them, and they are normally very helpful. One time they replaced a chlorine cap for me even though that was not in the contract. They are a very good company.

Overall I am very pleased with the service. I don't know much about septic systems, but I believe Vince was honest and up front with me. He could have quoted me a higher price and/or quoted me for a whole new system ($20,000 and up) When I mentioned Angies list he gave me a $500.00 discount. I'm not sure how many other septic companies are out there to compare with. The $3000.00 fee might be high or over priced. But with the personal attention I received, quality of work, professionalism and quick service for my tenants and me, it seemed like a fair deal. I will continue to use All American Septic Solutions with all my septic needs in the future. David Brimmell Austin, Texas

He was quick to respond. He was recommended by some seniors at the Senior Citizen Center, so I contacted him. He took care of it just fine
