ADEPT PLUMBING

Description of Work: Installed new garbage disposer and new kitchen sink faucet. We have used Christian several times, and prefer using an individual rather than a large company.

Description of Work: It's been a while but at the time he did very good work. Had used Adept several times. Haven't had a need recently but would use again.

Description of Work: "Confucius say" you will NEVER have plumbing problems between Monday and Thursday only between noon and 5 pm on Fridays, and if the problem is serious enough to cause damage to your house all plumbers who WILL come to your location will be booked solid for at least the week, and possibly more. Any way, Christan from Adept Plumbing was able to respond on the Monday following the noticing the problem, although I'm located a little outside his usual service area. He immediately found the source of my problem (tree roots and a rooter cable that had been abandoned inside the line by a "plumber?" during a previous line clearing. Careful evaluation that required inspection inside the septic tank, and excavation of the line at the clean-out fitting allowed removal of both the tree roots and the abandoned rooter cable from the line (which should have been done by the previous plumber) In addition he gave us instructions on how to refill these holes so that this problem doesn't reoccur any time soon and makes it much easier to service in the future if needed. I was impressed by the fact that he showed up when he said he would, quickly found the problem and fixed it while providing helpful hints on how to prevent more plumbing problems in the future. In short, if I need plumbing work done in the future, I now know who to call.

Description of Work: Unstopped a kitchen disposal drain and replaced the "S" joint with a straight pipe to alleviate any future problems.

Description of Work: Christian replaced a corroded steel inlet pipe on top of the water heater.

Description of Work: He replaced faucets on the outside of the home. He supplied the faucets for me. He has in the past replaced a kitchen faucet, repaired a leak at the end of the street and then he replumbed a bathtub for me.

Description of Work: Hired to replace a water heater, and update the installation to meet building codes. The toughest update was to install a drain pan and drain line. Christian advised that the difficulty of this retrofit was unknown, and that it would be cheapest if I did some preparation work. I prepared the site by cutting open a wall for the drain line, then e-mailed pictures of the entire area to Christian. He thought that there would be no problems. I then built a wood platform to elevate the water heater so that the drain line would work, and scheduled for Christian to replace the water heater. Christian drilled holes through the wall studs, the exterior wall, and the wall of the water heater closet. He then shaped a PVC pipe to fit through the openings. After installation, he tested the drain line for leaks. I assisted Christian a couple times during the installation. Christian's work took the morning and a bit of the afternoon. He cleaned up the majority of the mess afterward.
