Overall experience was good but I thought their service call was a little pricey.

I am the renter of this property gave my landlord a call that gave me the OK to make the repair, all went well problem solved.

Very good experience and I am satisfied with the results.

They arrived when they said they would, gave me a competitive estimate and were able to do the work immediately with no return visit required. I was very satisfied with their professional manner and the way they informed me of what was being done and why.

I called AAA Auger and they said they could have someone out in about 4 hours. They explained there would not be any charge to come out and give me an estimate. They called every hour to update me on their expected arrival and called when the serviceman was on his way to our office. The service technician surveyed the situation and gave me an price of 189.00 for the job to unclog the sewer line leading to the street. He also said that IF any unexpected repairs were needed, he would stop and let me know the situation before continuing. He was here over an hour, fully resolved our problem and the charge was as he quoted. I will certainly recommend the to anyone needing a plumber. Thanks Angie's List

Suddenly we lost flow in our hot water lines throughout the house. It was late afternoon when we checked for plumbers who might come out yet today. We picked AAA, and they had Brandon here in about three hours, 6 PM by then. Brandon spent about 45 minutes checking things, and cleared up the problem. While it may recur, we know now what to look for and what the root causes might be. This was an excellent outcome. Brandon was very professional, knowledgeable, and neat. We'd call for him again, if we needed plumbing help.

They did a good job. The only problem that I had was, that the issue was with simply the washer, but they stated they had to replace the whole line had to be replace because they didn't replace just the washer.

I found them in the phone book. This was the first time I used them. Everything went well.

The toilet is working better than ever.

The gentleman came out and didn't charge extra for coming out or nights/weekends, they only charge for the work they do. They sent me Darrel, the best man they had, he was very prompt and courteous. He had the toilet fixed in less than ten minutes. As a courtesy he did a couple of tests to be sure the system was clear. He was very polite, thorough and he took my concerns seriously, he was on it! I say if you need a plumber, go with them!

My parents are visiting this weekend--our first overnight guests in our new home. It's the Saturday before Easter. We had never used the guest bathroom before, and unfortunately discovered that the hot water would not work. I decided to try to play amateur plumber, which turned out to be a bad idea. For the next three hours water poured out and splashed throughout the guest bathroom. Clayton with AAA Auger came out and fixed everything. No more spraying water and the hot water works too. Very professional. Will definitely use them again.

.I had previously used AAA Auger for plumbing repair and was satisfied. I called the same plumber/repair person, Johnny Rivera, and received very prompt quality responses. He identified the problems, recommended alternative solutions, quoted a fixed-price for each option recommended and gave me time to check out his recommendations. Then they did the work when and as scheduled.

Darrell (72) came to my house within a half hour of being called to fix a bathtub faucet that would not shut off. Upon inspection, he also noticed that the faucet system in my other tub was the same style and told me he would give me a discount if I wanted to replace both faucets at once. He left for about 20 minutes to go get parts he needed (it was an older faucet) and came back. He was incredibly personable and friendly, and described exactly what he was doing as he was doing it. He has a ton of experience (30 years) and I could tell the job was going to be done right. I am incredibly pleased with the work done and with the entire experience Darrell provided. I have found my permanent plumber in the Austin area. I also found out that they do not charge additional for service calls on holidays, but I just couldn't bring myself to call them on Christmas although he said he would have come.

I don’t remember the price I paid. I would give them the best grade. They fixed everything on the spot; so they didn’t have to come back.

There were problems with everything they did. The water heater was vented in such a way that it created a fire hazard. They refused to remove the old unit (even though they agreed to do so when the work was scheduled) and they left it in a position which created more hazard. From day one, the softener did not drain properly and it flooded my home every time it cycled. They never accepted any responsibility for that nor did they exhibit any competence in identifying the problem with the drain. They corrected issues with the heater but it took a city inspection to get that done. They offered only blame and ZERO resolution on the softener and amazingly, they used bully tactics in all our negotiations.

They were fast and reliable. They make a quote and stick to it. They charge by the job and not the hour so you know what you're going to pay beforehand. I have used them in the past too.

They came the same day we called and finished the work the same day. They were very quick.

I think AAA Auger worked earnestly and honestly to first attempt to fix the problem by auguring and then to definitively diagnose the problem when the auguring didn't work. But at that point, I was into them for $487.50 and nothing had yet been fixed. And the only way I was going to get that money back was to sign them up for the sewer line replacement. I decided to get another bid. The other company came out and despite me telling them that I did not believe there was a clean-out, they poked around a little bit and found one in my garage. They were able to use that clean-out to put their camera down and to inspect and map out the sewer line for themselves. So they didn't have to remove my toilet for this and they did not charge me for any of this preliminary work. They recommended that I have the entire line replaced all the way to where it entered the house rather than just a section as AAA Auger had recommended. They gave me a bid that was about $450 more than what AAA Auger had bid to replace only the section that they diagnosed as bad. To get an apples-to-apples comparison, I called back AAA Auger and requested a bid from them for replacing the entire line. They promptly sent me a bid that (even after a $500 discount to account for the $487.50 that I had already paid them - for the toilet removal/replacement, auguring, and camera work) came to almost twice as much as the other company's bid. We ultimately decided to go with the other company. The other company's rating on Angie's list was comparable to AAA Auger's, their references checked out, and they were recommended by someone I personally trust. So it was pretty much a no-brainer to go with the other company. Everyone at AAA Auger was professional and courteous. The decision we made to go with the other company was totally due to price. Conclusion: I think AAA Auger is fine as far as their quality and professionalism go. If the initial auguring had worked and I would have been out only the $287.50, I think I would have been happy given the fact that the situation was urgent and that AAA Auger was out so quickly. However, given my subsequent experience, I think one should be sure to get at least one more bid before signing AAA Auger up for any kind of major work. It also wouldn't hurt to (before the fact) call around to some reputable plumbers and find what they charge for auguring and for running a camera down your line.

Our hot water heater did not work and they replaced one part and it took care of the problem. They were very good and honest. They could have sold us a new hot water heater, but they were honest and did not recommend one. We were impressed with Jerry, the service technician.

Plumber arrived on time and performed the jobs. We went on vacation and when we returned one of the toilets was running since flapper didn't sit properly. Called and the dispatcher said would send someone over to fix it. On Saturday, after a 3 hour wait they called to say they would prefer to have original plumber fix his work on Monday. They said they would call on Monday morning to give me an ETA. At 1PM, I called them back to say I was going to have another company fix the work they should have done right originally. The woman I spoke with admitted that someone had "dropped the ball" and there was no record of my calling Chris on the previous Saturday. She did her best to make things right but the original sloppy workmanship coupled with the abysmal followup made me want to have nothing further to do with this business.

They were fast and friendly. I have recommended them to other people too. They were here within 30 minutes after we had called them, and their charge was reasonable too.

They were very prompt, curtious, and responsive. They came down several hundred dollars to match another bid that I recieved for the same work. They were also very disturbed that two other plumbers had been in to work on the same toilet in the past and didn't mention that the toilet drain line was not to code, let alone reset the toilet to inadequate drainage - TWICE! No surprise there as those plumbers were provided through a home warranty program (another issue).
