That was okay apart from the pricing. They charged me too much. Otherwise they came right away and fixed it. It wasn't that bad except for the pricing. I got an estimate from somebody else who told me that it would have been like $400-$450 but they charged me $900. I got them from Angie's List and I trusted them. I wanted somebody to do the job as quickly as possible. I got my water back the same day.

to long ago to remember the details. but we did have them out to work on our hot water heater a few years ago but they were unable to work on for some weird reason. but the gentleman that came out called around for us to find a company that could work on our system. the other company came out with the correct heater and installed it within a couple of hours, thanks to the heads up info that the AAA Auger gentleman provided them. that put them first in our book.

I Had some leaking water hoses in my home . Called AAA they came out that day and fixed the hoses. Daniel was very nice and professional and took time to explain everything to me. About what he was doing and what I should watch for .

It went well. Everything was done as expected. AAA Auger always shows you a price list PRIOR to commencing any work, and after they have done their diagnostic work. I have always been pleased with their promptness and professionalism. Also, they often have discount coupons available. Even if a coupon has expired, they usually will find a way to give you an additional discount on the bill.

The hot water heater installation did not meet city code.They did fix this but it took 5 appointments to get it done. The water softener never worked from day one. It flooded my garage every time it cycled. This was never fixed. They never took any responsibility for the problem. They were incompetent - often sending workers who were unlicensed, unskilled and who had no authority to make decisions. They wasted a good deal of my time as well as my money. In trying to get resolution - they used bully tactics and lacked professionalism.

Went as smoothly as was indicated at the time of estimate.

They came out the same day I called. After trying the simple remedies, they finally they went up on the roof and found that a plastic coke bottle was down in one of the plumbing vents. It was removed and no more stopped up toilets! The two guys were very professional and courteous. Also they did not leave a mess, which I greatly appreciate. This is the second time I have used AAA Auger. I will call them again, when the need arises.

I made the appointment yesterday. The service was scheduled for today before 9:00. I talked to the dispatcher at 8:00 this morning to confirm. The plumber who was sent to my home apparently went to the wrong address. When I talked to the dispatcher he said that the owner, apparently I, told the plumber that I had canceled the appointment two weeks ago. Obviously this was not possible since I did not even make the appointment until yesterday. They seemed to blame me rather than seeing the obviously absurd nature of the plumber's description of what happened. Obviously he was NOT at my address. I will never use this company again.

They were great they went over and beyond and Daniel the chief the head of the crew was very prompt and also stayed late for me a couple of times. Danny did the proposals and was very great as well! They were very thorough and completed the job in a very well manner. They may be time consuming but the job is done right!

They have great customer service. They are professional and prompt. We've been using them for multiple jobs over the last few months and are very happy with their work.

The job went very well. Chris was the plumber, and the operations manager was Danny. I spoke to three different plumbing companies, they all made different proposals. Two of them wanted to cut into the slab and fix it that way. These gentlemen proposed coming in from the side, which was absolutely the right approach, due to the amount of tunneling that was necessary. They gave me an itemized list for every issue that they would run into, the other two plumbers did not give that kind of a breakdown. They exceeded the minimum requirement for anchors. The job took about two weeks. They approached the job the right way, and I am pleased with the overall outcome.

My original hot water heater failed little less than 4 yrs ago..Had AAA come out and replace original, all parts and new up to code drip pan for the tank. Recently, the less then 4yr old tank failed. Sprung an internal leak which filled the drain pan and then 1 room in my house with wet carpet that I had to deal with. Called AAA. Then cam out in the evening to inspect. Verified the tank was bad..and quoted me a price $200 less than the original install.with new tank! .I complained and the took $100 off from a phone book coupon. Said new codes and all parts external to tank had to be replaced. This is a warranty Item. I'm sorry it should not cost me anything to replace. The cost should go back to manufacture..Bradford White. In addition to the $740 dollars and next day install..i was without hot water for 48hrs..and had to clean up a big mess from the water leak. Not Happy at all about that. The plumber that came to install the new was professional and had no issue with the workmanship of the install and new code restrictions.. Again this was a warranty fail though. it shouldn't have cost me to get it fixed out of pocket.. AAA will not get my business in the future..Unless the water heater fails again. Hopefully not.

service was great, showed up on time, did great work. The only issue I have is that I could not really understand the repair person and therefore I don't think he understood clearly that I needed a copy of the receipt emailed to me. Still have not received it. Need it for tax purposes on my rental property. Will be contacting them tomorrow morning to have it sent. Also, the cost for replacing a rubber grommet seemed a little high. I can understand the labor cost but once I get the receipt I am curious to see what the actual part cost.

AAA Auger examined the situation, gave an estimate for services, and then fixed problem.

On Sunday afternoon, the sewer line at my home backed up, and I called AAA Auger Plumbing Services. Johnny arrived within 30 minutes of my call. He cleaned out the line and ran a camera down the line to determine the cause of the problem. The line was cracked and trees were growing into it. He said the line needed to be repaired, and he advised me to call the City of Austin in case the City would do the repair. He said the crack occurred where my line joined the City line. Johnny did an excellent job, and I appreciate his advice to contact the City. Unfortunately, the City refused to do the repair, and I contacted AAA Auger to do the work. The company credited me 50 percent of the cost of the clean-out and camera test toward repairing the line.

Tree roots caused the sewer line at my home to crack. Johnny with AAA Auger Plumbing excavated part of my yard, removed a two-foot section of the line, replaced the cracked section, and filled the excavated area. Johnny arrived on time and did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He and the person working with him left the area clean. This included hosing down my driveway and hauling off some of the excavated soil. The $643.00 price reflected a $123 credit from work done by AAA Auger on 8/11 to clear the blocked line and to do a camera inspection to determine the cause of the problem. Customers receive a 50-percent credit if they have AAA Auger do the repair work within 30 days of diagnosing the problem.

Their prices were really good and I think the service was okay. The guy was good but I'm not sure how to compare him to some other guys that have a little more experience. They actually did some work for me before and I wanted them to come back but they wouldn't. They were pretty prompt. One of the valves in the wall leaking and they came out within three hours. I was able to shut it off so it wasn't a panic kind of thing but they were still pretty prompt about coming out. They were here when they said they would be here. The only thing that I would like them to do better is to kinda give an estimate of what the stuff might cost over the phone. Some of the stuff is pretty expensive. They should kinda have a fixed price for that. But what they do is they send the guy out and he give you a price there and then you're kinda on the hook right then to make a decision.

They were fine, we didn't have have any problems. I would recommend them to others.

They say they don't go by hours, but by the job, their estimates are always quite high. I let them do the work, because we realized that there was a leak around 5:30PM on a Friday, and the earliest I could get was the next morning from another plumber, and AAA was able get to our property relatively quickly. The plumber said he would add an extra piece of metal to reinforce the area and he repaired the damaged piping. Two years later, the piping was collapsed from the same exact location. When I called and asked them to come over to take a look they just gave me another quote rather than fixing it for free. They said their guarantee is only good for 90 days. I said "if you haven't done the repairs properly, which you didn't, your guarantee terms are not good and you are responsible from it.". I asked another plumber from a different company to come by and fix it and it turned out the AAA plumber earlier used a steel pipe to reinforce the area, which was rusted and ruptured eventually and there was a leak again. The piping was fixed properly this time and the area was reinforced with a piece of brass (not steel). When I called the AAA office, explained the situation and asked for a refund on their earlier bad job, AAA said I needed to talk their manager. After several attempts, when I reached the Austin area manager, he was extremely rude over the phone and he said " I am the boss here, it is not my mistake, it is not my problem, go do whatever you want". I told him I would sue them before he slammed the phone on my face. Next day somebody from AAA called and I was offered a 50% refund on what they charged me earlier. Well, if everything was done properly last time, why I was getting 50% refund, and if not, why I was getting just 50% instead of full refund? While I could have sued them and won the case for sure, I went ahead and took their check and added another $200 to pay the second plumber, just for convenience. I have serious reservations with AAA and do not recommend them. Beware of their super rude and unprofessional manager (as he says he is the boss, he thinks that he rules everything). I gave a "D" for their professionalism, because the other employees that I talked to other than the manager were trying to be nice and talking to me properly over the phone. By the way, they still send me discount coupons with their manager's signature on it, which is plain ridiculous.

I cannot begin to explain the wonderful job Neil and Gabe did to replace the PRV valve. Another plumbing company that will remain nameless had just replaced this valve 20 months ago and even had to come out 2 months after its install to fix it again. It had been leaking a little for several months and this morning, July 4 I came out and the leaks had become very bad and water everywhere. You can imagine how the thought of calling a plumber out on July 4th was going to cost. I did not want to call the people who ripped me off before so I went to my handy Angie?s List bookmark and starting to look for plumbers. I called several and they quoted me outrageous rates to come out on the holiday. I then found AAA Auger and their rates were the same and they had no surcharge for holidays or weekends. I called them and the dispatcher answered the phone on the 4th ring and said they would send someone out immediately. Neil arrived 45 minutes later and helper shortly after. They were the most professional and courteous service people I have ever dealt with. The other plumbing company sent out people that look like felons with all their visible tattoos. They fixed the problem and cleaned up the area before they left. If all the people are this way at the company the owner should be very proud of his team. I would recommend this company to my friends in the neighbor and at work. Great job and what a pleasant experience all the way around.

The pilot light on my water heater would not stay lit. The plumber came on same day, diagnosed and resolved the problem. I had a faulty thermocouple, and plumber had a replacement part in van and was able to fix the problem within 30 minutes.

I called in the afternoon expecting to have a scheduled appointment in a day or so. Much to my relief, a technician arrived within about 40 mins. The problem turned out to be a simple one and I appreciated the knowledgeable, friendly and helpful attitude of not only the technician but their dispatch as well. I would absolutely recommend this company!
