Description of Work: It turned out very well! The office staff was very helpful and the man that came out was very knowledgeable. We had a leak in our master bathroom shower that he repaired. Our deadbolts on two of our doors to the outside of the house no longer fit, and he adjusted those and fixed some door handles as well.

Description of Work: This is an A/C company, not a painting company. Expected roller and brush, but they sprayed ceilings instead. Such a mess to clean up, used twice as much paint as needed, thin coverage compared to roller, and a few spots I will fix that got more paint on them compared to rest of ceiling.

Description of Work: I purchased install of new toilet. Work was scheduled quickly, was contacted day before service with accurate estimate of arrival time, install went without a hitch.

Description of Work: We had set a 2pm appointment to meet at the house, then they called the day before to ask if I could meet them at noon. I said no, I had already scheduled with work to be off at 2, they said ok, never mind. I got a call from the guy at my house at noon the next day anyway asking why I wasn't there. I explained, and he said he could do it without me. I told him which 2 gates were a problem. His office called later to say one gate needed a new post and cement for a cost of about $150.00, and I needed an extra 6 fence slats replaced in addition to the 6 covered by the Angie's Deal and that would cost an extra $30. I asked if he could do this today, and his office said he could do the slats, but he had a 2pm appointment, (which should have been me), so the gate would have to wait. I said ok. | |I got home, saw that the gate "repair" was to cut off the bottom of the gate and leave the pieces scattered on the ground, and that I had 5 slats replaced total, not even the 6 covered in the deal. Later that week I received a bill for $30 for the extra slats that were never done, and I discovered that he had thrown the old slats under my storage shed rather than disposing of them properly. | |It makes me wonder how companies like this get to offer a "deal" on Angie's List. |

Description of Work: When I ordered the 'deal' it was my understanding by the description that they would replace up to 6 fence boards and fix the existing gate. Since we had some boards fall away after the last rain..this sounded just what we needed. When they called to confirm the appmt. we found we would have to supply the fence boards cut to size, any hardware that was needed, etc. They told my husband they did not have power equipment to do any cutting and sizing of fence slats. They explained they were like a handyman and mainly did hammer and nailing. That was not explained in the 'deal'. Simply wish this had been told in the ad. So sorry this did not work out. I hope you will refund to the credit card it was charged to. I do love Angie's list. Sandra

Description of Work: Physical installation of ceiling fan. Unfortunately,electrical supply was not working, so completion will have to wait until I restore electricity to fan install site.

Description of Work: An Angie's List special. The checked my fence for loose or broken pickets. Repaired loose ones and adjusted one gate.

Description of Work: Two workers came, so the 3 hours of handyman services took only 1 1/2 hours. They verified the height I wanted the 3 sets of metal pegboard and installed it, moving another storage rail to where I specified and installing two small storage units, as well. They installed one set of metal pegboard in my sewing room, hung a painting, and took down an old wall unit TV, all within the 3 man hours. I paid an additional $25 to have 3 items hauled away. I was really pleased with the work done!
