Texas Star Window Cleaning & Power Washing

Don't hire them until they resolve ALL outstanding disputes to the owner's satisfaction. This is simply unacceptable.

Purchased the window cleaning big deal. They came out and did a really good job on the windows. We paid $50.00 extra for some special solvent because the windows were so incredibly filthy. I think they ended up spending too much time doing the windows and they were going to come back the next day and wash the screens and put them back up, but they never came back. Nonetheless, the windows are clean and they did a good job cleaning them and I never called them to come back about the screens.

I contacted them several months before the Big Deal expired. They would not keep an appointment. I have called back to reschedule and it is now to the point where they will not answer my calls. I had made appointments 3 times and they did not keep any of those appointments.

I bought one of the big deals for doing this service. They had the big deal but were not prepared for all of the demands that I had. So they had to cancel on me three times. I was patient with them. They actually were very good about compensating me for that because they offered to do the inside windows as well as the outside for free. Overall I was very happy with them. The only hiccup was that, it took them a long time to actually deliver. Once they delivered, I was very happy. They gave me compensatory services for free. All and all I was happy with them and I’ll use them again but may be not with the big deal. I will use them when they are not over extended. I will use their services again in the future.

I previously had work done by this company and then they scheduled me in the wrong month, didn't return calls and did not show up for scheduled appointments never showed and never called me back as promised.

Tried twice to schedule job based on the business's choice of dates. Both times business was a no-show with no prior contact. I managed to reach the business by phone just once but never had a single call returned. Angie's List refunded my pre-paid charge.

Initially, I received a call letting me know they were running a bit behind their scheduled time. Due to this Manny, the owner, had the field manager, Dennis, come to do the work himself. From the moment Dennis arrived I knew I was in good hands! He was clean, neat and in uniform to identify himself. He walked me through exactly what he was going to do and explained what solutions would be used. I had a concern due to these being new windows ( a year old) that had not yet been cleaned and had specific instructions what could/could not be used in cleaning them. Dennis knew by looking what type of windows I had and what could be used to clean them. He was a wealth of information for me. There was no "hard sell", or "let me sell you something you don't need at all" involved in this. Simply sharing his expertise and knowledge base which was greatly appreciated. He enlightened me to a whole new world of window cleaning! The work he did was fantastic! He was very careful both inside and outside to be as clean and neat in the process. When he was finished I could see such a vast difference in my windows. I was fantastic. He did an excellent job and I highly recommend Texas Star Windows to all! I will be using them again for their "house washing" service!

Excellent! I filled out a form on the web for what I wanted, got a quote within the hour. They accommodated by tight schedule and my tight timeframe! They arrived on time, worked efficiently. Even the payment was quick and easy!

Purchased this as a Big Deal. I called to make an appointment and left a message which was not returned. I called again and was able to set up an appointment. They did not show up for that appointment. I called again and they apologized for losing my appointment and rescheduled a new one. Two workers showed up (an hour late) on the day of the appointment and told me they could not do the work because it was too windy. They said I would receive a call within the hour to reschedule. I never heard from them again.

They were somewhat late arriving and the job was spread over two days instead of a single day expected, however, Manny kept us informed of their revised schedule. Once he arrived, he worked hard and did an exceptional job; very conscientious and careful with the old antique windows. The windows all sparkle and the old windows have never looked so good. Power washing and house exterior cleaning were also excellent. They are very polite and professional and made certain we were satisfied. The work was partly covered by my purchase of their Angie's Big Deal of $125 for 25 windows. We will hire them again!

Extremely well. They did a very fine job and worked very hard to make sure we were completely satisfied. It was a long couple of days for them as we have 45 windows, some at very high heights. But we're very happy with the results. Very professional from start to finish.

After several un-returned phone calls, we scheduled the service. One hour before our scheduled appointment, I received a call that it would be canceled. Through voice messages and phone tag, because it is almost impossible to speak live to this company, we scheduled another date. No show. No returned phone calls again. So I canceled and received a refund through Angie's List. A big waste of time.

I have been calling and calling trying to get my service set up but I can't get a call back. I love the BD concept but without any communication this is becoming very frustrating. All I want is the service performed and this is becoming stressful.

The workmen were very professional and courteous. I was very pleased with the work.

Very good. The work was the best I have had for window cleaning. Services I have used in the past, have damaged screens, but Texas Star handled very well. The guys were running a little late, and called me early to let me know. I appreciate that very much as I was scheduling around my work schedule. They returned to wrap up on the next day and were right on time. I would highly recommend.

The team leader and his helper arrived (almost) on time, was very contientious, pointed out a window needing replacement, and did a very good job. This was a Big Deal (25 windows for $125); the balance was 9 more windows at $10 each plus $20 for the French doors.

Great job, windows look brand new. They cleaned the glass, frames, and screens. Arrived early, worked fast. Very friendly. I will use them again for sure.

Punctual arrival. Clean cut, uniformed workers (2), well mannered. Took 4 hours to clean 34 windows and window screens, as well as glass in doors. Excellant job. Cleaned up before leaving.

It was a total good experience.. No problems at all It went without a hitch, and was not stressful as I had thought it would be.

They arrived a little late, but apologized profusely, were polite and friendly, and most importantly, proceeded to make up for lost time. The clean-up from the window debris could have been better and a sliding door screen was put on improperly, which I discovered later. I should have done a final check but didn't have time. I would, however, re-hire them without a second thought because they responded immediately to any concerns and were eager to do a good job. That and the fact that I now love looking through my sparkling windows and not at streaks and smears, and dirt on screens.

They were fabulous. They were very helpful. They even cleaned up the ledges. There were two packages and we chose the high packages. They cleaned up everything. We have a 400 Sq. Ft. house and a lot of windows. They were real good in doing inside and outside. They did a great job.

This was an Angie's List advertised special. I am so glad I decided to accept their special. This company did a supurb job and their personel was very concerned themselves about how good a job they did. They were very friendly and caring young men. I can't say enough good things about them. What a pleasure to work with a company of this quality! I will definitely recommend them to anyone else wanting their windows cleaned

Great job. These guys are prompt and professional. Took great care to clean the windows and screens properly. Would use them again.

They did a good job, but they were late. They never came back like they were supposed to. I might not use them again.
