I explained above...he left the residence before he cleaned the gutters. He was more interested in selling us some larger gutters.His bid was in the $8000 range...I'll not use him again.

Their service was fine and I paid what they asked for.

He explained everything that he would do and then at the completion said again what he did. I cannot go outside to watch, so I trusted him.

Overall the service was good, but I paid in cash and the individuals who were onsite did not offer a receipt nor could they explain what they did (did not speak English). I sent an email to the company and talked to them. They did not offer a receipt and only said that this individual had been in the business for 30+ years and had their upmost confidence. I in no way said he did not do the work, but I wanted to know what he did and he could not explain and thought a receipt would have been part of the program. I would use them again, but I would ask that someone who speaks English be available to discuss the services provided.

I purchased a special $99.00 roof inspection and maintenance pkg. Dennis and a co-worker arrived on time. He asked if I had been having any problems - I noticed two water stains inside near the front door. He did the inspection, took pictures and showed me where water had possibly gotten in. After the caulking/sealing was completed, he gave me an estimate of the cost of some further work that might be needed. He told me to wait until the next good rain before doing further work. How about that - someone who does not say the work must be completed immediately!! He even cleaned and repaired a gutter at no extra cost. I was very impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. Anyone thinking of getting a roof inspection should seriously consider this $99 special from All Year, Inc. I deffinitely recommend them.

Two representatives from the company stopped by the house because as they "were in the neighborhood" looking at another roofs. They claimed they saw damage on our roof and checked the roof further. They said they would have someone else contact us to go forward with an insurance claim. A person did come over and checked the roof. Then e proceeded to talk with our insurance company for a claim. An adjuster was assigned, and he proceeded to talk with the the rep from the company. After that the rep never called the adjuster back to schedule a time to come over together and check the roof. At some point the adjuster was told there was no damage to the roof. This is not what we were told by both people we dealt with. Is this a case of driving around a neighborhood looking for work to do and for people who may not understand the whole process? I would stay away from this company altogether. 08/09/2013 Follow up comments. In talking with a person in the main office and the insurance company this is a case of miscommunication between the insurance company the adjuster and All Year.

Was very hard worker and did was expected and then some.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was excellent. He was great. It ended up costing me more because he found some holes that needed plugging and he did it with a special MetShield so I ended up paying about $500. It was fine because I haven't had a problem since. It worked out really well. He's very courteous. I'd recommend him to everybody.

Dennis came out and cleaned the gutters and inspected the roof. We have a one story house and I am always nervous about my husband getting on the ladder to clean the gutters. All Year did a fantastic job! My husband said that "This was the best $99.00 we ever spent!). It was wonderful to have this time consuming chore done by a company that stands by their work. We would definitely use them again!

It was a quick repair. He was very good. He was knowledgeable and was able to fix the problem quickly. I would recommend him to others because of his honesty!

They were prompt and thorough. I needed some rotted wood replaced on my chimney and it required re-painting after this r pair. I provided the house paints to re-paint when done. The chimney had two different paints (beige with white trim), but they painted the entire chimney with the white and I was disappointed in that.

It was fine. They came out and did some checking and they said everything is okay. They are prompt. I think I had them come back though because they missed something on the gutters, they were going to clean the gutters and there is a place on my gutter that they had missed so they came back and got that done. I was happy with them. I would probably use them again.

When it rained, one side of my gutters would pour water. I knew the corner down spout was clogged, but it was really bad. They unclogged my down spout and cleaned out one side of the gutters. When it rains, I'm not having any problems. The flow of water is seamless.

After this experience, I will find it hard to get another deal from Angie’s List. I have a one-story house and the gutters are all one level. He gave me a quote of over $1,000 to put caps on them. I said that I just wanted the gutters cleaned and there was a little place that I needed fixed on the roof. On top of the $99 that I had already paid, it was about another $100 to get it done. I was taken hostage. There was a small hole where the roof changes and I asked them to put a small board over it. The vastly increase in price is what was most disconcerting. I would not use them again.

They shouldn't be on Angie's list.

He was able to fix it the first time but there was a little bit of a leak so he came back immediately to fix that. I do not have any more problems. Work was thorough and completed timely. He was great and I would definitely recommend him.

It went well eventually. I was quoted a high rate. I declined the deal but they came around and were able to work with me on the cost. There was room for improvement on communication. The job once was started got done quickly and they did a good job there was just bumps along the way.

This went fine..although I got an estimate for additional work which was very high!

They came out the first time to evaluate cleaning the gutters and found that the present gutters were not at their best. They also found areas of our fireplace chimney that needed tuckpointing. After showing us the pictures they took of our gutters and explaining the problems we decided to replace them. They gave us a fair price of $2365. I had researched the cost of replacing them and found that All Year Inc. was a good value. They came out a few days latter, replaced the gutters with gutters that do not collect items and tuckpointed the chimney. They were prompt and finished in good time. The best is that they cleaned up beautifully.

He went on the roof and checked for any loose shingles (tacked down a couple) and caulked a couple of places on the gutters. Fast, simple, and complete job. Very happy with it.

They were superb and excellent! They stuck to the estimated price even though they had to pay an additional $50 in shipping costs for parts. They did clean up after themselves, but there was a few pieces of roof left in the backyard and some damage to my hydrangea plant. However, I was so happy with the work that I wasn't even upset. The work was unbelievable and I was very happy with them! I wouldn’t hire anyone else.

I brought a coupon for gutter cleaning. Dennis called within a day and set up an appointment to look at the roof. He came on time. Spent about 45 minutes on the roof, took pictures of all areas of concern, sat down with us and reviewed fully 3 separate options for repair and/or cleaning. You get what you pay for. We, on the other hand, are held to a much higher standard than most companies in our area and have no negative complaints against the work that we do. Those "pretty pictures" that I took, show you first hand, in color, exactly what shape the roof is in. You can allow someone to "tell" you what you want to hear all day long if you wish. Or, you can look at the proof, first hand, in those "pretty pictures" that I provided for you. The pictures tell a different story. Your roof is in need of attention weather you want to except it or not. However, I am not at all surprised by your actions and comments either. Judging by the past cheap services that you have received and have allowed to take place at your home, you seem to be more fixated on dollars spent than actual value received. The screens that you have in the gutters now were simply thrown in with no fasteners. Most of them are not even covering the gutters at all and are allowing debris inside the gutters causing them to fill up with water and spill behind the fascia boards, which has rotted out the wood trim around the garage. This could have been avoided by paying closer attention to quality versus a cheap price. You basically received nothing for the money you spent. In fact, it is now actually costing you even more money for the rotted wood repairs and they are still not working correctly and are still causing more damage with each and every rain. The roof has multiple penetration holes from old satellite dish brackets left behind with wires sticking out through the roof that are not even connected to anything. These areas have been sealed several times already. There are also vent stacks that are chewed up by critters which is allowing water to enter the roof at these locations. The skylight flashing's (along with every other flashing on the roof) is unpainted with no rust preventative. This will lead to problems at these locations. Yes...the gutters are in need of a cleaning. However, what is actually causing them to need to be cleaned??????? That would be the poor screen installation and the fact that most of the areas that are in need of screens do not have them at all. Thus, the gutters are filling up and will continue to fill up until the actual source of the problem is fixed permanently. Which would be to install new screens to these open locations as well as properly installing the old screens correctly to avoid all cleaning and maintenance needs for ever. If you were actually looking at quality versus just being told what you wanted to hear you would see that we are by far the better price for what we are offering. As most quality minded Angie's List customers do. Judging by our ratings and reviews I would say that we are doing something right. We are not at all worried or concerned about the few homeowners who are only out for cheap or something for nothing. Your negative comments will not make a difference to anyone with any real since. Most homeowners are able to see right through your disgruntled opinions understanding that not everyone is out for quality. We understand that quality is not for everyone. You have made it very clear that you are simply looking for cheap. We don't do cheap. That, would be another company. Such as Lon Smith. Bottom line, the coupon you purchased clearly states in "The Fine Print" that any roof above 1 story will be up-charged accordingly. It also clearly states that any roof above a 6/12 pitch will also be up-charged accordingly. The gutters were not included in the coupon at all. So...just to simply seal up these same areas that have already been sealed multiple times already would have cost you more that it was worth, would not have solved even 1 issue that you are having and you would not have received any real value for the money spent. "My estimate" was to permanently solve "all" of the issues with "both" the roof and the gutters, at one time, eliminating all future cleaning and maintenance needs for good. Then, under no obligation to do so, I deducted the full value of the $99 coupon amount ($375) leaving you the balance for all repairs. This was more than fair considering everything that we were doing. If you thought that your threatening and snooty email was going to somehow scare us into doing what you want.... you were wrong. Sometimes...things are just not what we imagined them to be in our own heads. You cant always get your way. Refusing to see the truth doesn't solve the problem. At this point, we would be more comfortable allowing you to simply request your refund directly from Angie's List and we simply can go our separate ways.
