He was prompt and courteous, arrived on time. He took a picture of the problem and showed me the missing shingle. He was able to repair it easily and gave me the name of the color so in the future if there are more broken ones we can obtain them from Lowes before he comes then it will cost less. I paid only the $99 for the coupon special that was running on Angie's List at the time.

It was extremely difficult to get an appointment with the guy, who is apparently the owner. He would cancel and then pick his own days and times to come without even checking to see if the times were okay with me, just randomly texting or emailing me after I would wait several days for a response. Finally we were able to connect. He said he would inspect the roof, email me a report and pictures of any issues. He went on the roof, showed me pictures from his camera and told me I had several things wrong, including all the work another Angies List company had done saying that the shingles should have been on top of all the vents and such. He said it would cost me a bundle to fix. I told him I needed to check with the AL company because their work was guaranteed. Long story short, this guy never sent me a detail report although I requested several times, never called me back for anything at all, most glaring was the completion of the minor repairs (a few loose nails and shingles), created an unnecessary amount of time on my part to research with roof experts and sort out things and only to find out there was nothing at all wrong with the work the other HIGHLY Rated AL company had done. So I really just paid $99 for me to take lots of time off from work to accommodate a guy to climb on my roof to take pictures that he kept. What a waste. I would not use this company because his business practice seems to be to get people to buy the deal and trump up a bunch of extra things that aren't necessary and make it sound like all other work done since the house was built was sub par. ||He did remind me when I questioned some of the things he was telling me that his family has been in roofing for a very long time. Frankly, how long you have been doing something has nothing to do with the character and professionalism of your business. Since this experience I have been a little more cautious with my AL Deal purchases.

Everything went well. He looked at all of the flashing, and caulked some nails that had become exposed, and secured flashing on a pipe on the roof.

We got a big deal roof inspection that said they would take care of the flashing. We knew going in that there was a pretty significant leak around the chimney. Dennis came out, inspected it, and took the time to show us what the issues were and how they could fix them. I was very impressed by his professionalism and attitude. Sometimes we've had workers come out who were pretty "know-it-all" and rather condescending. Dennis wasn't, but it was clear he knew his stuff. He had his team come out and work on the house within just a couple of days of us signing off on the project. I was also very happy that they came to the door to announce they were there and getting ready to work - we've also had workers who came to do some work and never informed us when they were in the back yard. We would just look out the window and see them doing something, which was disconcerting. We were very pleased with the work that Dennis & his team did. I highly recommend them for the smoothness of the transaction and the quickness with which it was done.

They were really good to work with. They provided good work and I did have to call them after the first rain after the installation. They did have to install a small area in one section due to leaking and there was one area in the front of the entry door that was pouring over and they fixed that as well. The gutters work perfectly now.

These guys are great. Dennis came out right on time, in fact early ( he called first) looked around and took care of known issues and even found a few spots I didn't know about. Replaced some bad shingles and generally gave the roof a good going over. I will have no problem calling All Year Roofing anytime I need more work done. In fact I going to have them install new gutters on my shop. No high pressure to buy something - more work or service, in fact told me I didn't need to do a few I thought I needed.

Great! I dealt with Dennis, the operations manager, and he was very willing to explain all the options and answer questions thoroughly. I always felt like he had the customer's best interest in mind rather than trying sell upgrades, which is very refreshing these days. The job was completed in under two days time which, due to the snow/ice we had, required the crew to work on the weekend. At all times the roof was kept dry, since they only removed the shingles from the areas where they could put on the new shingles. The project manager, Frank, was very diligent and took care in moving some plants off our deck to make sure that they would not be damaged during the work. He even voluntary climbed a tree to remove some dead branches remaining from the ice storm last year, that could have been a hazard. Talk about going above and beyond for a customer! The new roof looks very good and we are happy we selected All Year from a number of highly-rated providers we found here on Angie's List.

They were very timely. It went well and we ended up going with them to get our new roof.

Dennis came out at the time arranged, repaired the hole at the apex of the roof and did a complete inspection of the roof. He repaired or replaced a few shingles and hammered in a few nails protruding. He did a very good job. In fact, when we noticed a leak in a seam between the roof and the patio cover, we hired him to come back and repair old patches to the chimney and seams that others had made years before that were not working. No more leaks!

He called or emailed me to set up the appointment. The service went very well. He was honest and did not try to sell me anything because there was nothing wrong with my roof. He did a good job and came when he said he would. I thought he was a good and honest guy.

I have been too swamped to follow through, but I have no reason to believe that they did anything but a thorough job. They provided detailed instructions on what they recommended be done.

I didn't much care for the style of the owner, but maybe we just didn't hit it off.

They went onto the roof, sorted out some of the flashing and said there was nothing majorly wrong with the roof. The service went very well. Scheduling was good, we were not in a rush and got an appointment 2 weeks after our call.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went well.

not as planned. He was told there was a leak which we thought he would take care of according to what we read in Angie's ad for this contractor. He didn't fix it.

Against my objection, the provider scheduled to come at a time I could not be present and assured me this was 'preferable' to most people. He found several vent stacks had been chewed by squirrels and "patched" them. Had he called me to let me know what he found, or had I been present and given the option, I would have requested that these be replaced rather than sloppily patched (appears he just slopped some white patch material around the tops of the stacks). Afterward he emailed me his 'inspection report' that was an estimate to clean my gutters and install gutter guards. For $379 (the "value" of the work being done that day) I would have expected him to CLEAN my gutters while he was here!. This was NOT a good deal and I would NOT use them again. Being fairly new to Angie's List, this experience has given me cause to pause before purchasing any "Big Deals". Very disappointed. Feel I wasted $100. Won't do it again. And will not recommend

Had them our for the Roof Maintenance Package. Dennis inspected the roof, sealed around the vent boots and some nail heads, swept the valleys, and gave me a quote for gutters as we had discussed on the phone. While he was there I also had him quote me a price for a chimney cap. Later I had All Year install the gutters and chimney cap as quoted. There was no pressure to purchase the gutters or to sell me anything else. Everything was handled very courteously and professionally.

They came out and it's almost been across $2500 or something like that. It turned out it was nothing actually. It was only within the coupon that we purchased. They ended up charging another $100. The guy who came out was no longer part of the company. He was giving a high estimate and then calling customers back and doing it for countless money. That's what the owner was telling me; that's what happened. That was just honest. I would probably not used them in the future.

No service was scheduled or performed. I contacted Angie's List for clarification regarding the above reported service/issues. Autumn D. Agreed with my concerns and concurred that the service does not meet my needs, and that Angie's will refund/credit my VISA for $99.00.
