ALL YEAR, INC Roofing & General Contracting

The contractor was emailed and called on two available work phone numbers on June 10th, regarding scheduling a service on Wednesday (June 12th). A voice callback was requested. Instead, an emailed message from Mr. Harrison, politely apologized and informed me that they were 90 days out for service, and (sic) "Due to our delayed schudule you may simply request a full refund of the coupon price directly from Angies List." No service and no contact/communication for 18 days is simply not acceptable or professional. It is disturbing that there are two current coupons that are expiring soon and are still actively being advertised on the contractor's page on Angie's List. The company's ability to provide service in a timely manner (24 to 48 hours), is misrepresented, unless there is a substantial additional charge to customers, beyond coupons and Big deals being advertised.

It went well. The only hitch was I was told the work was done one day, which the gentlemen thought it had, when I fact it wasn't done until the next. No bit deal really. The worker got held up at another place.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for ALL YEAR, INC Roofing & General Contracting. He was very prompt. I think he came 2 days after I purchased the deal. He told me what he found, said he could fix it himself and took care of it that day. I would recommend this company to others.

Dennis came over to perform the inspection as part of the Big Deal. He stated that the roof looked fine, but the gutters needed some work. He said he would provide a quote for the additional work. After we received the bid, we called and asked about some of the things included in it that we thought was included in the Deal. A few days later he called back and was extremely defensive. The Deal stated that cleaning the roof and sealing was included, but according to the quote there was an extra charge. There was list of other things that needed done and the company refused to do the Big Deal work unless I agreed to do a list of other things, under the guise of a "permanent fix" for an additional charge.

Dennis responded very quickly to my call. He came out the same day and checked out the roof. He noted missing shingles, protruding shingles, burned out attic fan and vent cover was rusted. He gave me a cost that was reduced by the value of the Big Deal coupon and agreed to remove a Dish Satellite that previous tenants left and installed new shingles in that spot. His workers were early and began work, as I would have wanted,before I returned home. They performed work as discussed, which included a new attic fan, new vent cover, new shingles, caulked bulging shingles and painted new fan, vent cover and various other extruding pipes to match the roof. Looks great and the workers were very professional and answered all my questions.,

Great job, friendly and professional. Dennis came out to our house. He arrived on time, took photos of the roof and problem areas. Then, Dennis explained everything upfront and about a week later the work was complete.

After the inspection, I was informed that the roof & gutters were in perfect shape and they had nothing to repair or clean up. They charged me nothing for the inspection..............I was impressed & surprised!

Dennis Harrison came out to inspect my 10-year old roof to see what materials his crew would need for the $99 Spring Maintenance deal (caulking/reshingling, etc.). He was right on time and to my surprise, let me know that my roof was in excellent shape--though he did fix a small problem the squirrels had caused while he was up there. He didn't try to to upsell a thing, and let me know it would be another 3 - 4 years before anybody needs to look at it again. It's unusual to praise somebody for NOT doing the work, but I appreciated his honesty and it was worth the price to know that everything was in good shape.

This company was awesome! They contacted me 3 hours after I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal. He came out 2 days later to do the estimate and gave me a print out complete with photo's of the work to be performed (I had a few roof issues/ flashing issues). They showed up on the date scheduled and completed everything promised. I was very happy with both the service and quality of work. Super responsive and professional. I would recommend them to anyone needing roofing or gutter work.

The roof repairs went smoothly on May 17. All the work completed by Frank Martinez was absolutely perfect and the two, rotting, sagging areas on my home look brand new. The roofers were able to match the shingles perfectly and they replaced a ton of shingles damaged by landscaping around my home. I was able to see light shining down into the attic from the area around the chimney, but not now. All the work Mr. Martinez and his crew did was very thorough and professional. The gutters came a week later on May 24 and they were installed by another subcontractor that afternoon. These guys also cut back a fig tree for me. The new gutters are gorgeous. They match the color of my house and they're seemless and shiny and new. Ironically, it rained heavily that night, and I ran out with a flashlight and saw that the gutter covers worked great keeping everything out -- including water! There was water pouring out the downspouts at the corners of the house, but it seemed most of it was cascading over the gutters. I called and left a message with All Year because I thought the gutters were actually tipping with the weight of the water and they came out the next day to check. It turns out that when it rains heavily, some of the water will flow over the gutter screens. They removed a couple of the gutter screens to show me there was no water standing in the gutters and whatever water seeped through the mesh into the gutter drains just fine. The gutters were level and the gutters and the screens were installed properly. Later that Saturday, May 25, it rained again -- softly -- and I ran out and saw that the gutters worked perfectly with all the water seeping through the mesh covers and into the gutters and out the downspouts. I later googled gutter screen systems and the system they installed over my new gutters -- Amerimax white snap-in gutter filters -- are very highly rated. It turns out that no gutter guard system is perfect, but the reinforced screen systems are recommended over the reverse curve systems that I've seen at Costco. Overall, I'm very satisfied that I got the best gutter filter system available on the market and at a really great price and that I won't have to clean them for a while!

He came out to provide an estimate on the additional work as I have a 2nd story and I wanted to have leaf guards installed. Nobody was home when he did the estimate. He said he left a detailed estimate on the back door but I didn’t find it. I spoke with him over the phone and he provided the estimate of $375.00 additional. I asked him to get me the report again via e-mail of the detailed estimate and he hasn’t done so. I’ve called at least 3 times since asking for the e-mail and all have gone unanswered.

Brought a coupon for $99 for gutter clean. They are very busy. So, my order was actually processed after a couple of weeks. The inspectioner took pictures to show the damage of my roof and debris inside my gutter. We decided to add leaf cover for the front of house only and repair some roof damage. The work was done quickly and professionly. Can't tell mcuh about quality because I can't see it.

Went very well - They provided 2 quotes and basic clean and repair and one with more detail along with suggested gutter guard - could not afford the gutter guard at this time but the clean and repair was fair and understandable. Was prompt - cam out within 3 days and we scheduled for a week later

It went very well. They came out within two days for me getting the call. They did exactly what they said they would. I even asked them about another issue and their quote was very fair. They were very professional and knowledgeable.

Inspected to determine what all they needed to bring for the job. Came next day right on time, completed all work within 2 hours, cleaned up all done with good professionalism

Sadly the work has still not been done We bought this deal 3.5 weeks ago have contacted them several times to schedule an appointment and they still have not reesponded. After sending numerous emails I got a call and voicemail at work around 11:30 letting me know they were coming to my house at 12 to 12:15 . I called them back immediately and shared with them that i work 45 min from home., so couldnt meet them. They have not tried to reach us since that day more than a week ago. They dont read or respond to email because we were very specific about needing to schedule their first visit around our work schedules. I hope I am able to get a refund!

Before I saw the $99 BigDeal offered by AllYearRoofing, I already got estimates from 4 roofers (three of them are from Angie's list) to repair the roof and they are all more than $1000. But Dennis and his team from AllYearRoofing really beat the other roofers by a mile. I got the project done by paying only $555 on top of the $99 BigDeal coupon. AllYearRoofing will be my preferred roofer from now on to take care of my rental homes.

Great, they did the work over the garage, cleaned up and replaced old shingle and filled in old nails. They were on time, professional and clean.

It went very well. The technician climbed up on the roof and photographed everything. Submitted an itemized quote and we signed up. A couple days later their team came out and got right to work. A few hours later and all the problems are fixed. We now have working gutters and roof vents. Will definitely contact again for future roof and gutter work.

It went great. The quote was fair and the work crew did a great job, even taking pictures of the repairs after they were done so I could see how each area looked before and after the service without needing to get up on the roof personally. They were on time and very respectful of cleaning up everything before they left. I would use them again.

I purchased a $99 gutter cleaning and tune-up Big Deal. I got on All Year, Inc.?s schedule for what I thought was to clean, inspect, and tune up my gutters. Instead, a sales rep came out to the house to do the inspection before sending the cleaning crew out. After inspecting my house, the sales rep told me I had gutter issues which was damaging my roof and would continue if I didn't get vinyl gutter guards. The ?normal? cost was around $2,500 and I was getting a good deal at $1,550 including him honoring the $99 gutter cleaning which normally costs $375. At least he was honoring the $99 gutter cleaning, oh wait. I decided I didn?t want to install gutter guards at the moment and just get the cleaning. Just after telling me he would ?honor? the cleaning for $99, he proceeded to tell me he would have to charge more for the gutter cleaning since my house was 3 stories. Not every roofline on my house has gutters. There were only 375 linear ft. according to his measurement. My last house which was a one story had more than 375 linear ft. roofline and I only paid $100 to get it cleaned, plus after looking on Angie?s List $99 is not uncommon even for unlimitted sq ft.. This company is obviously not in the gutter cleaning business. They are in the roofing and gutter installation business using gutter cleaning solely as an upsell tactic which was not what I was expecting. I have requested a refund and filed a complaint with Angie?s List. I do not recommend using the company for gutter cleaning. There appear to be many more competitive offers on Angie?s List for gutter cleaning. I will do my homework next time when purchasing a Big Deal and ask the appropriate questions before scheduling someone to come out.

Redeemed an Angie's List coupon for a roof inspection, which was done at the agreed time. I have had an intermittent leak at the connection of a screen porch for some time, three previous repairs did not last, so I asked for a look at the problem area. Dennis identified the problem, and provided a quote for a fix. After returning to his office and reviewing his inventory, he later called and offered a lower quote which was accepted. His crew showed up on time, did an excellent job, was happy to show what they were doing, left behind no mess, and provided photos of what was done. Since then, two cold fronts, two thunderstorms, one heat wave, and no leaks. I appreciate that they keep their appointments, even though we are not at all close to their office. I appreciate that their work crew was both friendly and confident enough of their abilities to invite me to watch and ask questions. I would recommend them to anyone with a need for roofing/gutter repair.

The service turned out great. So far everything has turned out well. They came out on time and did the job correctly. I was happy with their service.

They came out, and took pictures of the problems on the roof. They explained everything to me, and set a date for repair. They arrived on time to do the job. I appreciate the attention to detail...even told me WHO would be coming!
