It went pretty good. I liked the service. They are very professional.

They were good. There was a problem with the fence and they came right back out and fixed it. They didn't charge us anything to fix this.

Serious Lack of Customer Service I?m very flexible and accommodating but I believe I was taken advantage of by A and A Fence and Concrete. While they were quick as a rabbit to answer my initial call they slowed down to a turtle?s pace from then on. Here?s what you can expect if you decide to go with A and A Fence and Concrete: Numerous delays. My job took three months to complete and it was only 210 feet of side-by-side cedar! The installation took an extra day (three days total) with the rest being follow up repairs. The salesman repeatedly cancelled visits and returned messages at his convenience. The ?crew? of two men (should have been at least six people) started between 9 AM and 11 AM and ended their day between 3 PM and 5 PM. Incorrect proposals & invoice (final price greater than that of proposal, wrong name on invoice, wrong description of materials). Inferior materials. Several pickets had to be replaced due to cracks, splits, burn marks and knot holes. Unfamiliar with City fencing code/restrictions. When questioned about filing a permit, they claimed it got ?lost? with the City and had to file another. Acted as if they could not care less that I had to continually take off from work and rearrange my schedule to make sure the follow up work was completed. If you decide to go forward with A and A Fence and Concrete, I hope your experience is better than the one endured by me.

I obtained three price quotations which provided prices all about the same. Chose AA because they were close to my home. They scheduled the job about to be done about a week later. Workers showed up on the day scheduled and removed the old broken concrete (2500 square feet), loaded it and took it to the dump by nightfall. The next day workers appeared with rebar and installed it in preparation for pouring. On day three they came and poured the entire area. They smoothed and finished the area, cleaned up all debris and were done by days end. The entre job was completed in just three days. The work was very much as specified and done with no muss and no fuss. Excellent service!

We accepted the bid and were provided a date for the fence construction (within 2 days -- amazing!). The crew showed up as promised, bright and early and ready to start. The head of the crew re-confirmed all the details with me while the other workers started the process of tearing down and removing the old fencing. They were very professional and definitely had experience. They finished in one day! That even included building a new gate and putting heavy-duty 2x4's underneath the entire back yard fence (to keep neighbors' dogs from digging under, etc.). They loaded up the old fence and took it to wherever "old fencing" is laid to rest. We were very impressed with the efficiency of the crew and the quality of the material. They did an outstanding job and we could not find ANY little thing that needed to be redone or corrected. We would highly recommend A&A to anyone who needs a fence. We feel fortunate to have had such a good experience.

Dakon Doggett came out to estimate the job. He was on time and professional. He explained what materials would be used for fence and concrete. he emailed the estimate to me for both a 6ft and 8ft fence. The price was good for the fence but we ended up going with another contractor due to a neighbor deal. We are having some foundation work done so no concrete right now. I would recommend this company as I said price and quality seemed right.

We were very happy with their work. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves.

Due to work/travel my wife had to move into our new home without me. Luckily family and friends were able to assist. The previous owners had small dogs and had a portion of the side/backyard fence was 3 ft tall white pickets. Well this wasnt going to work with our high jumping bird dogs. All I wanted was a reasonably priced fence, quality, but most of all timeliness and someone who was going to knock this out in a smooth professional manner that my wife wouldn't have any added stress about. Well that is exactly what we got with Dan and his crew! He was very professional and always kept me in the loop from leading up to and planning the job until the job was complete. The fence looks great 3 months later. Very sturdy! Gate has no issues. Actually going to have him back out to redo the previous owner other gate. He already gave me a great bid being an existing customer now.

A and A Fence & Concrete in Arlington. They were here two weeks ago. It cost $2400. The experience was fine. They did what they said they would do. I they did a good job. They finished up in two days. The fence looks nice. I had no problem with the workers.

On the first day (Thurday) they completed the fence in the backyard and poured the concrete walkway/drainage path. The new fence was put up with metal posts instead of the old fence that had wooden posts. This was a great barrier from the dog in the house behind me and also prevented him barking at my dogs constantly. The next day (Friday) they came back and completed the fence in the front. On Sunday I went out to check the concrete in the back. You could push on the edges of the concrete and it would crack and water would seep through the crack. The dogs had walked on the edges of the concrete. It was still so wet they did not leave footprints they actually left holes in the concrete. On Monday morning, Kevin with A & A Fence called to see how the job went. I told him the concrete was not drying and I thought the ground was probably too wet when they put the concrete down. He said he would go out that day and check it out. He called me later that day and said the concrete job was not anything like what we had dicussed and they would be back on Tuesday to correct their mistake. The first time they did not put any kind of frame on the concrete walkway and just poured the concrete on the ground and smoothed it out. On Tuesday they had to tear up the previous concrete and put a frame around the walkway before pouring the concrete and put a metal bar in the concrete. It is also slanted inward so the water would drain to the front yard. They went out of their way to make sure the job was completed satisfactorily and in a very timely manner. I was not exactly sure what to expect with the drainage system but Kevin was right on top of it and made sure it was done properly. Am very pleased with the work and the quick response to making the job right. Would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

It went very well. Kevin Jordan came out to our house the day after our initial call to A & A Fence. Kevin was very knowledgeable and very professional. He provided a written estimate the same day and called to follow-up to make sure we got the proposal and see if there were any questions. He was most friendly and helpful in every way. His bid was fairly competitive, but we just decided to go with a different company. We would certainly give this company a chance to bid on any future projects.

Our fence blew down in a storm right before the Christmas holidays so I expected some delayed response in getting fence estimates. Out of four local companies contacted the same day, A and A Fence/Concrete was the first to respond about two days after Christmas. Dan provided very helpful and informative suggestions regarding the fence construction and provided a written estimate the same day. When the construction team arrived, I was amazed at their organization and efficiency in removing the old fence, prepping the construction area, installing the new poles, and constructing the new fence. The crew leader, Angel, was very friendly and asked for my preferences and for review of their work at critical points during the construction. They completed the work and cleaned up the construction area in less than twelve hours! Dan dropped by during the construction and reviewed the work with me afterward, answering any questions that I had. The final price was exactly what had been quoted beforehand.

The experience, from the first call to schedule an estimate to clean-up after the job was finished, was totally hassle free. Cary came out to meet me at my home to do the estimate. He was on time, very professional and pleasant to deal with. I had a total of 4 different companies I wanted estimates from...Cary was first. The bid process took a week and I was unavailable the week after, so that it was 2 weeks before I called to tell him I was ready to go forward with A and A Fence and Concrete. The crew showed up when Cary told me they would, performed the work we agreed upon and left the place spotless when they left 2.5 days later. I had a few concerns and questions that came up over the course of the construction process. Cary was prompt in his responses and very agreeable to the additional requests I made during the process. My new fence is beautiful and solidly constructed...prettiest in the neighborhood, I think. I won't hesitate to use A and A Fence and Concrete again or to recommend them to family, friends and neighbors.

The job went great. There were a couple of issues of timeliness but Cary was responsive and addressed my issues timely.

A and A Fence & Concrete were great to work with. Everyone I spoke with, the salesman (Dakon), to his crew that installed the new fencing, to their office personnel...All were very professional, courteous, and quick to return my call or e-mail. Although A and A gave me a very competitive quote, I chose them because of the following. Unlike other fence contractors that gave me a quote, they required 50% of the job fee upfront to purchase material; some did not accept credit cards but if they did take credit cards, they tack on a 3% swipe fee to the final bill; and they could not put me on their calendar for several weeks out. A and A did no such thing. I went with A and A is because they did not require any $$ upfront to purchase material (in fact...you pay when you are completely satisfied with the work), they accepted credit cards but without any card swipe fees, and they were able to preform the work within two two weeks (or less) after I give them authorization to begin work. (my entire neighborhood sustained massive amount of fence damage due to a strong wind storm that were strong enough to collapse a metal utility line tower, so getting on a contractor's calendar within two weeks was very quick) A and A has earned my business and any future fence work I might need. I will definitely use them again and recommend them when ever I am asked. Thank you A and A...great work! Carla

Everything went really well. They came out quickly and gave us an estimate. They were professional and polite.

After putting in a cedar fence on one side of our backyard last year, we decided we were ready to do the other side. Even though we were satisfied with the company who put our fence up last year, we felt we could do better pricewise. After checking Angie’s List and getting bids from a couple companies, we decided to try A and A Fence & Concrete. We were not disappointed. Cary Stowe gave us an estimate which was cheaper than the others, and his company had better reviews. He wasn’t sure of the exact date they could start the work, but it would be within a week and he would call to let us know. Turns out we missed his morning call and were quite surprised when his workers showed up in the afternoon. They had the wood fence done in no time, but had to wait until the next day for the chain link because they didn’t realize we wanted a six-foot fence, not a five-foot fence. They promptly returned early the next morning and resumed working. It wasn’t the easiest job because a tree had fallen on our fence, and they had to raise one side to match the other. After all their hard work, though, our fence looks great. We couldn’t be happier with A and A Fence & Concrete. The workers are well experienced. They work hard and quickly, are precise and they did a great job. They removed and disposed of the old fencing, and cleaned up the area so you couldn’t even tell they’d been there. And, even though it wasn’t in the contract, they went the extra mile making sure our gate aligned with the rest of the fence. We would certainly use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing new fencing.

Working with Cary was a great experience. Cary called back within a day of leaving a message. I needed a vid on a shared fence with a neighbor and a bid for replaceing the both end fences. Cary was on time with the appointment. He did a bid for both jobs. The fence with the neighbor will hopefully be done in the next couple of months as the neighbor and I need to work out the details of splitting costs etc. however, I did go ahead a have Cary replace the end caps. Due to a storm we had a week prior, Cary was upfront that had a lot work and it would be a few days before they could make it out. Less than a weeks later, I have new end cap fences and they look great. Once the neighbor and I can reac an agreement I plan of using A&A for that job. I would not hesitate use them again, nor to recommend them. The professionalism, work-- all done with no complaints.

I would rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

We had to replace 78' of wood fencing that was blown down by tornado damage in april, 2012. We contacted several fence companies for estimates and received most estimates online. A and A Fence & Concrete was the only one who came to our house and estimated replacement cost onsight. Tim Meier was prompt, polite and thorough. He listened to our questions and concerns and answered all to our satisfaction. We were very concerned about loss of privacy. Tim told us that he could get a crew out the end of the following week. Luckily for us, they were able to come a day early. The crew worked fast and finished our fence in one day. The fence is beautiful and we are very pleased.

Cary, did a fantastic job even having to deal with unhappy neighbors. I didn't have to be there. I never met Cary but he was very professional and personable. I'll use him again to do the rest of the fence when I can.

I was very pleased with them and their service. Angel and Barrio were the two workers who came out. They were prompt and on time. They were very conscientious of their work. They cleaned up as they went so they didn’t have a big mess at the end. They were very pleasant. They asked questions before they did anything to make sure it was what we wanted. They did a superb job. I couldn’t ask for anything better. They came and worked until like 8.30 in the evening to get it finished. They were very professional. They measured everything and so there was nothing uneven about the fence on the top or on the bottom. They did top quality work. The wood that they used was just really nice wood. I could not be happier. They put rails at the bottom so that it didn’t look weird. They just kind of put like a frame around it which was very neat. It was very nice looking. We had several neighbors comment on how nice it is.
