Took over 6 weeks to get an estimate. Prices were comparable for the gutter work and doors. The pricing for windows, soffit and facia work, and windows were outrageously high. Also, the estimate for painting the house was the price of a new car! The estimate did not spell out all the work being done, kept being told "it's figured in here, or it's figured in there", so had no way of knowing the exact cost of certain items. The owner is very professional and polite, and if his prices were competative, probably would have used him.

The repairs were done exactly as we wanted, at the time and date we asked for. The estimate was spot on, no surprises.

Keyner Construction completed our repair quickly and it looks great. My husband and I are very satisfied with the work completed and how Mr. Keyner took the time to go over the entire process with us. Mr Keyner's Crew kept the area pickup and was very clean. This was why we used Keyner Construction on our other project later in the year.

I was very satisfied how Mr. Keyner took the time to explain the process to my husband and I and so happy with the new quartz and granite counter-tops and Travertine Tumble Stone backsplash. I was very excited about the new Blanco sink and Delta kitchen faucet. Can't believe what a difference the counter tops have made. Mr. Keyner and his crew did a fantastic job.

Brick mailbox was hit by a car and demolished. Hans Keyner promptly provided a quote for the repairs. Other companies that I contacted to repair the mailbox were not interested in this small job. Realizing the necessity for mail delivery, he scheduled his bricklayer to repair the mailbox on the weekend. The bricklayer did an outstanding job on the mailbox. He removed the old brick and cleaned up the job site.

Extremely satisfied with the work that Hans Keyner and his staff did. Very impressed with the level of accuracy all those involved. From carpenters to tile installers and decorators: all were extremely professional and knew and explained their work. No one seemed to be offended when I walked in unexpectedly and in fact, they all appeared to enjoy sharing their expertise and reasoning for doing things the way they did them. There was not one of the staff or those that were contracted to work on my house that I did not personally enjoy meeting. I feel fortunate to have discovered Hans Keyner Construction on Angies List.

I chose the windows from three samples that Hans Keyner provided. I was encouraged to price others from companies to be certain that I was satisfied with the cost, quality. I chose the windows based on cost, quality and ease of operation. After the windows were received, the expert carpenters installed them. Because they were installed in an older home there was some modification to the frame of some of the windows. There was no additional cost of time or materials added because of this modification. As with all other projects in this total remodel, the accuracy and expertise of the carpenters was evident. I personally inspected each window, its operaton and installation and found they were perfect. I am more than pleased that I chose Keyner Construction to do the entire project for my home. I would definitely recommend this company to any of my friends and in fact, I already have done so.

Did not hire due to price. Otherwise, I would have hired them. They were very professional and I have no complaints.

They did a pretty good job with the exception of several mistakes. They came back to correct the mistakes without any hesitation and finished the project to our complete satisfaction. They have been very professional, respectful, courteous, and efficient.

Called upon Mr. Keyner after a remodel-run-amuck situation. Contractor left the project entirely unfinished having misled us about what we could have done to this particular room. Installed a fabulous wooden double door incorrectly and did not weather treat it. Keyner construction swooped in and saved the day (the door, actually). Mr. Keyner has assisted us in prioritizing what needs to be done and in what order it should occur to get this job finished.

When remodeling my house, gas leaks were discovered. In order to lay new lines, the patio I had had put in a few years ago, needed to be undone. When taking up the paver stones and digging up the ground for laying a new gas line, it was discovered the ground had not been properly prepared by the previous company. That explained he sinking paver stones and poor drainage I'd had for months. Keyner Construction's crew reworked the ground before laying the stones, making sure lines were even and straight. They spent special care making sure the slope away from the house was correct so water wouldn't create future problems. The crew was very responsive to my suggestions for the design and added an extra row for width in the end product. I was/am very happy with the patio.

A friend was coming to visit and I was anxious to have the guest bathroom look as nice as the rest of the house which had recently been remodelled. This bathroom had the original paint from the 1950's, some missing molding, damaged cabinet doors and unpainted molding around a heating unit. The glaze on the sink was chipped and there was rust around the drain. I called Keyner Construction and had them come and talk through what could be done with such short notice to make the bathroom look nice. They had great suggestions and I gave the go ahead to do the work. I was very statisfied with the outcome. The sink looks brand new and the molding throughout the bathroom has the nicest finish and color. The work was completed in the time that was promised and in time for my friend's visit. I was very proud for my friend to have the use of this bathroom during his time here..

He's very dependable, has good communication and he seemed to always want to check over the work and make sure it was done correcrtly. He wasn't happy with one spot on the outside that I didn't notice and he had the people come back and redo it because he thought it needed attention so that was nice. We were also going to have him do some laminate flooring work, but I didn't like some of the things the sub contractors were saying so it scared me off. He seems to try and find the people who will cost the least amount of money, but get the job done right.

The estimate was right on. (A little over actually as I picked out tile that was on clearance.) We signed the contract on Friday, I picked out tile over the weekend and the job was finished by the next Thursday. I was amazed. Mr. Keyner kept us informed as to the progress each day with picture e-mails and texts. Every issue or question was well communicated and resolved immediately. There was not a speck of dirt or debris anywhere at the end of each day. I was terribly impressed and will definitely use them on my next project.

The initial consultations provided me with ideas concerning things that could be done with the spaces I had. I was not at all sure what was possible but through discussion, pictures and use of internet the designer and contractor gave me many options. A proposal was formulated in a timely fashion and once we worked through the costs, a contract was prepared complete with beginning and projected completion dates. Everything from the first day on, was gone over and explained by Mr. Keyner so that I was never guessing what was going to happen,when or why. He arranged for areas where my dogs could find "relief" and throughout the 3 months of the project showed great care in making existence at home as stress-free as possible for both me and the dogs. Mr. Keyner was consistently there each morning exactly on time to open the house and make sure the various workers knew what was expected of them and then again there at the close of the day to inform me of what was to go on the next day. He was also there to "check up" on the work, sometimes several times per day. The workers he engaged were all extremely professional, taking pride in their work and they all seemed to be in communication with Mr. Keyner if/when they had a question or need. They were very polite and considerate and Mr. Keyner had them "clean up" each night so that I had less mess to negotiate. The designer, Mr. Boothe, worked very well with me, doing the leg work in finding many things that I would indicate I was interested in for the various parts of the project. (tile, pulls, carpet, glass, stain) He is very talented in seeing what looks good together and what will work with what and putting it together with my likes and current possessions. Mr. Keyner kept me informed if there was a potential problem due to the age and condition of an area of the house as the work went on, offering to arrange services if they were needed. (ie., gas leaks) The project was completed ahead of the contracted time. I am amazed that I can honestly say that after having such extensive work done, I am not only extremely proud to bring my friends into my home now, but I am 100% satisfied with the quality and beauty of the work done! Although living through construction being done on one's home is not the most fun thing to do, my experience was made much less stressful and, in the end, very worthwhile because of Mr. Keyner and his company, Keyner Construction. I will most surely use their services again!
