Description of Work: Help me move some storage items.

Description of Work: Everything was mostly done well with the exception of the two workers speed, you could tell that they were paid by the hour and were in no hurry to get things moved. They also weren't extremely careful with the furniture i.e. our bedroom dresser has short legs on it that they broke off not once but twice after I put it back together the first time, wasn't a major problem but a minor annoyance and nothing you would want happening on an expensive piece of furniture. Other than that I was happy with the experience

Description of Work: I had an in-town move of all the big furniture left in my house. My two movers were very nice, very professional, and most importantly were very careful with all the items which I appreciated very much. They were even nice enough to run to a second house to pick up just a couple items from it as well. I was very impressed with A & W and would gladly hire them again for the next move (hopefully not anytime soon).

Description of Work: I moved from Amarillo to Austin. Furniture damage & no response to the damage. I packed my whole house (3000 sq ft) myself except my clothing and 3 large kitchen appliances (stand mixer, crockpot & food processor) they charged me 200.00 each for 2 flat screen boxes and did not inventory or number ANY boxes. They tried to take legs off of my coffee and sofa table and stripped screws. Also broke a marble nightstand top. Don't use them. I sent pictures to Carolyn of the damage and she never responded. Made me pay them before they unloaded.

Description of Work: I called A&W about 3 times over a period of two weeks to get in touch with someone to give me a quote on moving. Although everyone I talked to was very nice, I kept getting funneled back to the same person who initially contacted me, which would have been fine, except that our schedules didn't mesh very well. So wee played phone tag for about two weeks, and I eventually just found another company that was more available. They did call back after every message I left and were very professional, so perhaps if our schedules had worked out better, I would consider using them in the future.

Description of Work: Moved a moderate amount of furniture. All furniture was undamaged. Moved quickly and efficiently, price quite reasonable.
