Description of Work: Received a quote, confirmed the work but could never confirm a work date with the project manager. We waited 4 weeks and then with no confirmation of a start date we decided to cancel and use another company.

Description of Work: They painted exterior wood work and replaced old gutters. The painters messed up painted areas removing painters tape and too much paint overspray on my AC condenser and fence gate. I had to inspect to find the problems and ask them to fix it, instead of them proactively painting the bad spots where paint was removed. The lead painter kept trying to get me to sign a document saying I was satisfied with the work before the job was completed. The gutter installation was a disaster. The installer was not experienced and the finished result was ugly, leaked, and was an F. I had to try and contact the salesman many times and it took way too long to get a response. After a few weeks they sent someone to repair the installation. It was still awful after the repair. The only way to fix it was to replace the bad sections. After another few weeks the salesman came onsite and agreed the installation was bad and to replace the bad sections. The end result is acceptable, but it was a terrible experience getting to the acceptable result.

Description of Work: I knew my gutters were shot and that I had a lot of water damage on the wood on my house. I wanted the same company to paint my house and to put on the gutters. Phillips did an excellent job, They replaced a lot of the wood trim on my house and installed gutters adequate for my roof (unlike the original gutters.) Since this service, my utility bills have gone down noticeably.

Description of Work: We installed gutters around the entire house with larger down spouts and and leaf guards for the front of the house. We went with Philips because they came up with the best plan to fit our needs. We were extremely happy with their work. They were professional and clean.

Description of Work: First they sent a man out to survey the job. Then about two weeks later on a Sunday the man called to say they would be out Friday to do the job. On Thursday afternoon the man called to tell me they would no do the job because the front office didn't want to. I called the manager and he told me the gutter couldn't be fixed properly. This is a gutter here, not a nuclear sub. I'm glad this guy wasn't in charge of something really important, if he can't figure out how to fix a gutter. I'm sure the real reason is it wasn't a big enough job. So thanks for wasting two weeks of my time. THEY SUCK!

Description of Work: Install new gutter along patio roof; replace old gutters in front of our house. Due to our heavy rain, the company has a longer lead time, but they kept their appt times and were punctual. Performed quality work with good material. Excellent experience overall.

Description of Work: We had two big projects and one small project done. The big projects was exterior siding repair and painting. The interior was sheet rock repair and texturing. This was all too expensive and took way too long. Crew seemed short handed at first and took longer than estimate. Started late. Had problem with ceiling texture because tried to cut corners. Asked for partial payment before job was done because it was taking so long. Their cash flow shouldn't be my problem. | |The small job was a sheet rock wall repair due to a leaking pipe. This was too expensive and took too long to get the estimate and get the job started. Did a really bad job of reinstalling molding.

Description of Work: We had gutters installed on our house by Phillips. Great job and really nice people to work with. Had to wait a bit for a quote, and then for the actual installation, but that was just due to them being very busy. They were always very responsive. I would recommend.

Description of Work: Had 2 small bedrooms and a very small bathroom painted including trim. The guys did a very good job except for neglecting to mask some things and getting paint where it didn't belong. The price was a little high I thought but compared to other painters I've had in the past the high price was worth getting it done well.

Description of Work: Exterior painting and wood repair. Repaired wood, prepped and caulked all surfaces/edges, and painted, including washing wood and exterior bricks. Very professional and efficient. Easy to work with. Included lead remediation.
