Had recommendations from neighbors. They were very professional, no surprises, great quality. It was the first time the house had been painted since the original construction, and they caulked lots of places that had never been caulked.

There was a misunderstanding regarding painting the exterior. Jason Phillips took the time to resolve the issue. His involvement lets me know he stands behind his work. I would recommend and use them again.

I thought that they were great. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. They did a very clean job. They didn't get paint anywhere on my floors.

They were punctual and timely. They left the wind turbine's warranty. Also, they followed up with a written paid invoice.

They covered everything and moved everything for us, to do the painting. They did a free estimate. They were very professional in doing both the estimate and the services. It took them 2 and a half days to do the job.

My call was put through pretty quickly but they gave me a date almost 3 weeks away to come out and give an estimate. While they may consider this a sign of how busy they are, it may put off a lot of potential customers. Anyways, I did setup a date and time for them to come out and provide an estimate on the off-chance that I would encounter delays in getting the job done (HOA approvals, etc). They were on time, very courteous when they did a tour of the house from the outside the estimate they provided looked very professional with company name folders and stationery, color cards from Kelly Moore. Price-wise they were the highest among all the quotes we received and their estimate did not include a power wash which was included by others in their estimates. They, themselves, indicated that their charges for power wash were on the higher side and suggested that we get that done separately if we wanted it prior to the painting. Price was the primary reason we did not opt for them. Other than that, they left a good impression.

It was a comedy of errors. In the first appointment made there were confused dates, resulting in an extra weeks delay before getting someone out to do the quote (no big deal, anyone can do that, especially if they are in a busy time). The second appointment time was confused times, though we had confirmed the appointment time the day before via phone, AND I had specifically asked, and their office made note of the fact, that I wanted to discuss several points with the person who came out to give the quote. The serviceman came one hour early, I didn't get to speak with him, and the quote he left on my door step was not for all that I asked for during the confirmation phone call the day before. The clincher not to employ Phillips was the managers actions, who, when I rang their office having discovered yet another debacle, was not interested in speaking with me to resolve the matter. She left this to the obviously embarrassed receptionist who was always extremely polite, professional and apologetic. I'm glad I discovered how valuable my custom is to Phillips, before we contracted work.

AWESOME! Dan VanPatten was great in explaining the job and the steps to follow. Since we were having Phillips paint the exterior of the house and fix up some of the wood trim (separate costs & report), they completed that job first and followed up with the removal and install of the news gutters. The communication he continued with me throughout the process was GREAT! The crew got to our home in the morning and finished the job before I ever noticed. At one point as they were laying the gutters around the perimeter of the house and before they actually started the installation, they knocked on the door and asked me to approve the color of the gutters (since the trim around the house and the gutters are the same color, the color on the gutters seemed to be a little darker). They didn't wanted to be sure that I was aware. That was an A+ in my book for courtesy. I will absolutely keep Phillips Roofing & Gutters in my phone book.

Great, awesome, painless! We hadn't done much to our home in 8 years because we didn't. We were always too busy and finally decided that we weren't going to do it, so we called in the professionals. We contacted a couple of other contractors, but Dan VanPatten was so easy to talk with, the prices were competitive and after reading only rave reviews we chose them to do the job. Dan sat with me and explained their process and what we should expect. What I didn t expect was the follow through and the communication from Dan. Exceptional communication all the way through until the job was completed. We had the gutters done too (separate cost & report) so we knew that we had to get the house painted and then wait about a week before they added the gutters. He was thorough and on the money. The painters/carpenters arrived at home around 9:30am on the first day and left late in the afternoon (well past 4:30 5pm). I only knew that they were on our property because of the hammering. They treated my home and property as if it were theirs. They had three quarters of the job completed by the first day (i.e.: hardiboard installation around the fireplace, seal all of the trim around the house and sealing the windows). On the second day they finished the hardiboard installation around the kitchen nook and painted the entire exterior of the house. We have yet to see a drop of paint on the brick. These guys were neat, clean and very professional. We would absolutely hire them again for future painting or carpentry.

Steve came to our home to give us an estimate and arrived when he said he would. We scheduled an appointment to have the work done and again he was at our home when he said he would arrive, actually a few minutes early! He did a great job. I even received a thank you letter a week later. I will use Phillips for all of our roofing issues.

Estimator failed to show for appointment set 1 week in advance. Homeowner cleared schedule to be available for appointment. Estimator called to notify homeowner that he couldn't make it just 15 minutes prior to appointment (per main office staff); line was busy. 1.5hr later, homeowner calls main number to inquire about delay. Office informs homeowner that estimator would not be coming; he tried calling, but line busy. Office staff stated that estimator could come 2 days later, but he wasn't sure what time. Homeowner takes her $6,000 elsewhere.

Its been good, if there are any problems just call Justin and he takes care of it. A.S.A.P
