Communication was lacking between the support staff in the office and the folks who came out to my house to measure/bid the job and the installers. When I identified the initial installation issues, Alex was quick to send someone out to correct the problems. I thought the final result was of high quality but it took too much of my time and effort to make sure things were done properly. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and respectful and since the final product was satisfactory, I would probably use this company again...I think.

Job went well. They came out when scheduled and completed on time. After they were done they cleaned up and left no mess. I found Phillip to be honest and he charges a fair price.

The work was exceptional. They also figured out how to solve problems I've had for years in a very creative way.

I called Phillips in the afternoon and they sent out a roofing supervisor, Chris Oliver, the very next morning. Chris examined my roof and found the issue quickly. It was a minor job, requiring just a little bit of silicone sealant, so he didn't even charge me. While he was up there, he noticed a few other issues he thought I should take care of and he took the time to walk through them with me. Chris was friendly and professional. I felt like he was looking out for me. The whole visit took 45 minutes. Will absolutely use again.

It went great! This is the second time they've replaced a roof on two different houses. They completely replaced the roof and upgraded the vents. I have no complaints. They clean up after themselves every day, especially at the end of their project. They gave me a discount because this is their 20-year anniversary, without me even asking for it. They just do a good job. They get it done quickly, and they're very professional.

Had a great experience using Phillips Painting Roofing and Gutter. Workers did a great job with everything including exterior repairs to the house. Paint looks great and everything was accomplished in a very timely manner. Managers even came over while work was being done to inspect that everything was being done correctly and effectively. Very happy with how it went and would recommend to friends and family.

The representative arrived on time with a professional looking work vehicle, a brochure and uniformed shirt, though it was untucked. He asked me if i was familiar with the company and told me that Phillips was a painting company and that they've been around for 20 or so years. He told me he would do take some measurements while I waited inside and then come explain his findings. He used no tools to measure the perimeter of my house and he had no samples of material, only a brochure. While outside, he showed me what was wrong with my neighbors house and how he would do it differently. He then proceeded to tell me that as a painting company, he doesn't really make any money off gutters and showed me how busy his calendar is for the month to try to pressure me into signing a contract that day. His quote was the highest of the 3 estimates I received, and did not include gutter guards as I specifically asked for. After he left, he called me to warn me that I should ask other companies I receive quotes from what they charge for lead paint remediation, because my house is older and may have lead paint. Negative results were included in my closing paperwork for the house. I believe this was a scare tactic. Overall, he was pushy and did not get a contract.

Did their job in timely fashion. Looks great, no longer a risk and I didn't break the bank.

Took less than one day, job site was left clean, and roof looked great. Reinstall of the satellite dish was not done to satisfaction. Cables were reattached incorrectly and secured haphazardly. Lots of clear caulk was gooped around the base. Dish Network came out, correctly attached the cables and properly secured them to the satellite dish. Otherwise, nice job!

At first, I was upset due to some scheduling issues (they came on the wrong day). However, I agreed to let them do the work that day. Even though I wasn't prepared to have them come, I was impressed with the work. Any questions I had that day, they were happy to answer. The crew was polite and knowledgeable. The owner called and apologized about the confusion and gave me a discount. He also gave me some spouts at no charge at all. He even came back out to my house to walk me around to check out the job the crew did. He was very professional and courteous. So, even though there was a rough start, in the end, everything was completed and completed well.

We ended up not going with them because they wanted us to have our house tested for lead. They didn't tell us that over the phone. I understand that and it made sense, they just didn't tell us that upfront. They did not charge us for the estimate. The man that came out was very personable and explained everything to us.

Company wanted all home owners to be present when they provide roof replacement quote! We don't expect all the company owners to come and provide quote - so don't expect all the home owners to be present, just to get a quote. Bad practice!

Overall, very well. There was one small issue, but Phillips quickly resolved my concerns.

This company did a superior jobs! I could not be happier with the work they did. The prep work they did was above and beyond. They were higher then other estimates but they did far better work than other painters we have hired in the past. In addition, they came up with a great solution to a problem that I have been having for years. I also used them for gutters a few years ago. I would definitely recommend this company.

They did an excellent job. They spent more than a day prepping the house. They power wash, caulked and replaced wood. They came up with ideas to address a problem area in the front of my house that has been there for years. They did run into a problem with high winds(45 MPH) when they were spraying the house and had to stop. They let me know about the problem before they left. They were back to finish the job when the wind died down. I could not be happier with the job they did!

We've used Phillips in the past for roofing repair and outside painting of our home. So when we got this last hail storm it was a no brained for us to call them back! And we are so glad we did. Sean came out to our house within just a few days of the storm and gave us an estimate to give to our insurance company. We feel very prepared. And plan to hire Phillips for our roof, siding, painting & gutters.

The estimate was heinous. They were so far out of the loop it wasn't funny. They have been doing my rental properties for 15 years. They've painted 5 or 6 of my houses, inside and out. They were always a decent company. I've never had a problem with quality. They've always had good prices. I don't know what happened to them this time. They are literally 40% - 50% more than what I had it done for. They really didn't seem to care about the business. It took us almost a month to get an appointment with a sales person. They were that far behind. He stood me up on two appointments for quotes. He just didn't show up!

There was a water leak and they fixed it. Their thoroughness, it was not an easy problem to diagnose and they were extremely thorough. I am quite certain they were more thorough than probably 90% of any other similar company would be and the fact that they persisted until they found the source of the problem was the highlight of that job.

They did a very good job. The key highlight point would be there have been issues with that roof since the beginning that no one else had been able to fix and Phillips fixed them. So I think it was a situation that they were able to fix problems that previous people had been able to fix.

We had two different guys come out to do estimates for the different work to be done. Both were on time, courteous and upfront about our scope of work and the normal "minimum" they generally work with. We appreciated the upfront honesty and did have Preston help us with sealing the damaged shingles and exposed fasteners, and he did a great job. We'd definitely hire Philips for any additional work we needed done.

I contacted this company for a quote for new gutters. They were extremely responsive in the beginning. Once the project manager came and gave me the initial quote, which I felt was pretty high, I asked for another quote to do some additional painting and carpentry. I had to reach back out to the project manager asking about the second quote as it took him several days to respond. Even though both quotes I received were more than I wanted to pay, I agreed to give them my business. I was told would be added to the que and they were about two weeks out from starting. Two weeks passed without any communication and when I reached back out to them was told I would get a call that day to schedule. Another two days passed and was not contacted. I felt that if this how there were on communicating with me there quality of work would be similar and decided to go elsewhere.
