'I left an email message on Phillips Painting website to be contacted for an estimate. 'Brad', called me the next day to set up a time to come out. He was here as scheduled, was very professional, and checked all that needed to be done. He stayed in touch with me about the job, and made me feel good about calling him with any questions. 'Manny' gave me a call to let me know when the painters would be out. We had a great crew come out! 'Francisco' was extremely nice, and, they began work. I've never had a job go as well as this! They did a fantastic job, and paid much attention to detail! The house looks great! Cleaned up everything. The whole experience was very good from the time I first spoke to 'Brad', to the cleanup.

I would recommend this company. They follow up on their work, it's always been done right the first time.

Called Phillips to schedule an appointment for a painting estimate. We settled on an option within the next few days and was told that a Mr. Christopher Walker would be contacting me. Chris arrived on time and we did a walk around the house to discuss what I was looking for. After Chris had a good understanding of my expectations, we parted for about twenty minutes for him to perform measurements, do a more detailed examination and work up the estimate. Afterwards, he came into the the house to meet with me and my wife and go over his analysis. Chris explained everything in complete detail starting with the preparation all the way through the finish. We already had some other estimates and although Phillips was not the lowest, we just felt comfortable that Phillips knew their business and would go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. We signed on the spot. We were told work would begin within a couple of weeks and would be finished within two or three days. When the paint crew arrived (on time), the crew leader (Douglas) introduced himself and we did another walk through to cover my expectations. They immediately began working and I cannot say that I ever witnessed anyone just standing around. They worked continuously and efficiently until the end of the day power washing, sanding and caulking. Day two, the team of three had to stop and get some supplies. I received a phone call explaining they would be a few minutes late and why. Right on schedule they arrived and were back at work taping and masking the areas before painting. I was impressed with the thoroughness of sanding and caulking. They had covered everything. Towards the end of day two just before they were finished, I was asked to do a walk through by the leader, Douglas, to ensure they had completed everything to my satisfaction. I pointed out a few things and without hesitation, Douglas began addressing them. We did another walk through and everything was finished by the end of day two. A couple of days later Christopher called to schedule a final walk through by him. I told him Douglas and his crew had done a good job and we were completely satisfied.

The whole process was easy and they completed the job on time. It took about one half day from start to finish. They did not have enough gutter guard material to complete the job on the first day, but came back and completed the job before the week was out. The finished product look great - works great too. Very easy to get this project completed with a professional contractor like Phillips..

This went very well. I picked them from Angie's List and from the sales person to the actual installers, everything went well. I would recommend them for this type of work. The estimate was reasonable, and the work was performed well.

Brad the sales representative is a good gentleman, I had quotes for the repairs from another company quoted a very high cost just to repair the soffit and fascia, Brad from Phillips quoted reasonable price for the repairs of the soffit and fascia the corners of the roof, and suggested install partial new rain gutter that cured the causes of the rot. I am very satisfied with the service from Phillips, they are very dependable, and saved my life!

Made and appointment for an extimate on exterior painting of our home. The day prior to the appointment I was called to make sure I would be available for the appointment. I assured them I would be, and I was available at the appointed time. However, Mr. Phillips did not show. Approximately 15 min. after the appointment time I received a call informing me he would be an additional 1.5 hours late. Needless to say I cancelled the appoinment because I assume this is how he would provide service in the future.

Phillips was the third company we had out to quote the job and were higher than the quotes of the other two. The other difference we noticed was that their quote was detailed and complete, and after seeing it gave us the feeling the other companies may have either not quoted the whole job or low balled the job and we should expect the price to increase as we found things they did not do that we expected done ( in fact one company did when I called them to follow up on the quote, they began increasing the price over the phone). So we went with Phillips even though they were higher priced because we felt they were more trustworthy. They were extremely professional doing the job. they were courteous, answering questions and making adjustments at our request. the job was done quickly and expertly. We are happy with the job they did and feel that we made the right choice by paying a little more to get results we are happy with and did not have to deal with any issues about whether an item was included in the quote or not, they did it all with no additional negotiations.

It's just unbelievable. I called them to request their services. I got the estimate, requested to have the job done but they never followed up to get the work done. Talked with the sales person and the customer service manager and they never called back to schedule. I waited for more than two months, and finally decided to go with a well known company in town. Within a week this other company started to work on fixing and painting the siding of my house.

I was very pleased with them, and did a great job. They are very clean, and offer lifetime warrantee. I can recommend them.

They were great. They did all exterior work. They came out and at first I just wanted gutters. They showed me how the siding was coming off and they fixed a bunch of holes I had in the existing siding. They gave me a bunch of colors for the gutters to choose from. They gave me colors of paints to choose from. The guys that came out and did the work were very helpful. I could go out there and tell them, I want this gutter to go more over here, and they would change it. It was all good. They cleaned up when they were done.

Phillips Painting showed up a little late, but still at a reasonable time and went to work, finishing the job in one day as quoted. The repair team had equipment available to cut the James Hardie siding to size. The repair work fits in well with the existing siding. I will include Phillips painting in our group of potential contractors when we are ready to have the whole house painted. Especially since I know they can handle any necessary repairs prior to the painting job.

Jeff came to our house to discuss painting the exterior of the house, removing gutters, repairing rotting wood and gaps in the soffits. He left some suggestions for color choices which I greatly appreciated. The workers did a great job covering windows, roof, and patio to prevent over spray of paint. They also were very thorough caulking all gaps. Jeff was helpful working around our schedule when the exterior doors were painted. The house looked new again. I would hire them again.

I was extremely satisfied with my experience with Phillips Painting. The crew did excellent work and were very friendly. They were real craftsmen. They did a great job cleaning up.

Phillips responded promptly to our request for hail damage work. All responses were promt and they answered questions completely. The workers were courteous and thorough in their work.

Steve Lewis responded promptly to our request for an estimate of total roof replacement. He offered good information on suggested shingles. He informed us when the shingles would be delivered and when the crew would be arriving. The crew covered the pool carefullyl, and carefully cleaned the worksite after finishing. The crew rolled the worksite for nails. Steve followed up with checking the roof to see that everything was done properly. He then rechecked the lawn for nails after the gutters were installed. He then encouraged us to call if we needed anything regarding the roof as they have a five year warranty on the new roof.

Steve Lewis of Phillips Roofing is very professional and thoughtful. He followed through with every issue that came up with the insurance company and made sure that everything was accurate. He always answers his calls and/or calls back very quickly when left a message. I can not praise him enough. The crew was quick and efficient and made every effort to clean up and leave everything looking great. The roofing job looks wonderful. When everything was finished, Steve did a thorough check of the work done until he was satisfied with the work that was done. I highly recommend Phillips Roofing and especially Steve Lewis.

They are very thorough and quick. There is nothing out of the ordinary. I have no complaints at all.

After reading wonderful reviews on Angie's list, I was very disappointed. The roofing was fine although I had no idea when they came and was promised a picture. Three weeks later when they wanted the money, they called and then sent a picture. It appears they did a good job although the price seems a little steep for facing one side of the chimney and reapplying a small amount of shingles and required roofing materials. $825. The gutters and carpentry and painting were done as one deal. Once they removed the gutters, the price went up $500 for wood repairs underneath. This was quite understandable. However they did minimal repairs and then the gutter people showed up unannounced and applied half the gutters on unprimed wood before they were stopped. Painters informed us that they were unaware that gutter people were coming and were not finished. The gutters were taken down and some further repairs were done, but we had to recall them to replace more rotten pieces that they had not done. A bay window had a three tier siding piece of wood that was to be replaced with Hardy board. The painters put one tier of Hardy board over rotten wood. We asked them to replace it and this was never done but they partially sawed a piece of the rotten wood off and left the ends of the rotten wood. I had had new doors installed. The painters pulled all the new weather stripping out of the doorways, and on Friday afternoon left with the weather stripping strewn in the bushes in the back yard. All of the gutters were painted on the front side only and we had to request that the downspouts be repainted. We requested that they be taken down so that you did not see white primer on the back. The salesman assured us this would be done. It was not. The lentils were not prepped and rust was just painted over. The second set of painters agreed that it had been very poorly done. I give them a C because in the end after 4 call backs, I think I have an okay job. I believe they would have done a truly rotten job if we had not supervised and called back. I am still not completely satisfied especially with the bay window that still has rotten wood underneath the hardy board. I was recredited for the 3 tier piece that was never installed. The vast majority of the time the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing.
