We're going to go with another company. They were a little bit on the high side. In terms of calling, making estimates and showing up when they were supposed to, they all did that. They called before they came and were very polite and professional. They're good painters. I see their signs all over the place when they are doing work.

Good overall. One issue with damage to siding, and had to make several calls to have damage repaired. Phillips did a good job with the repair.

They were listed on Angie's List. I had seen some good reviews about them; so I decided to go with them. My experience with them was great. They took care of everything. They even came out a second time to correct something. They did it promptly and at no charge. I got about 4 bids and all 4 bids were within 50 bucks of each other, so I went with them based on my research.

I wanted to use them, but the estimate was a little high. The company we used instead had to repaint over an area 2 times to get it "right". The company that we used for gutters did fine.

Did not hire Phillips. The Phillips representative wanted 1/3 down payment, 1/3 70 percent and 1/3 completion. I went with another painting company that did a good job for less price. The painting company I went with accepted full payment only upon satisfactory completion of their work.

David gave us an estimate to replace wood rot damage on our wood pillars in front of our house. His workers did a great job replacing the damaged wood and paint-matching the existing paint. We also had them install gutters to prevent future wood rot from occurring. Although Phillips Painting is not the cheapest, I felt that they were the most experienced for this type of job. David returned after the completion of the job to inspect the work. This company is very professional and I would recommend them and use them again.

We had 3 estimates from 3 different companies. Phillips was right in the middle of the estimates but all were within a few hundred dollars of each other so price was not a determining factor. My husband was able to be home for the consulatation an estimate for the other 2 companies, but a last minute conflict prevented him from being here for the inital meeting with Phillips. The Phillips consultants was professional and throurough. He gave me a detailed explanation of the work that would be done that included why he felt that Phillips results would be superior to other companies. I felt very confident in Phillips and explained that to my husband. At my urging, he called Phillips and asked them to come back out. They did and afterwards my husband understood why I felt so strongly about choosing Phillips. We called them back and confirmed the job and they scheduled us (about 4 weeks out). However, due to some changes in other jobs, they were actually able to start us 2 weeks sooner. The wood/paint team came out and completed a very large job in a short period of time. They had my husband or I do inspections at the end of each day and we were always pleased. Once the exterior had been painted, they scheduled the gutter installation. They installed gutters in record time and we are very pleased with the entire job and the process. If there was anything that was not Superior, it was clean up. They certainly did NOT leave a mess, but there were a few pieces of trim left in the back yard once the exterior repairs and painting were complete. And after gutter installation I did find a few screws around the yard. Even with those small items, I would still choose Phillips again my rating remains an "A".

Excellent! We were on vacation when they came like little elves, fixed our sagging gutters, puttied and painted the exterior and were all done by the time we got back. What great quality service and work they did!! I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

It took a while to get the work scheduled. They were not available to start on my preferred earliest date. Because of my availability, they scheduled it for two weeks later (on a Friday), but then cancelled the day before due to other jobs being backed up. They rescheduled it for Monday, but I had told them I'm only available every other Friday. Every delay cost me two more weeks... When they finally got started, the lead went over the whole property with me. I pointed out any quirks and things I had discussed with Jake, the salesman. The lead specifically asked me about the bird's nest on the front door post. We agreed that he would not paint that one square foot area to avoid disturbing the nest. The interior work was done in two days while I was on-site. There was one or two small glitches - wood trim that got painted that was not previously painted and should have been kept natural. And some overspray of the ceiling paint on the crown molding. The exterior work was mostly done while I was not on-site. The lead did a thorough job of caulking first, and the trim repairs seem to have been done well. The paint job had a couple of surprises - they HAD painted right around the bird's nest and the exposed side of the nest itself. I don't know how that happened. Fortunately, the mother dove did finally come back to sit on the nest. They also painted the trim around the front door the same "contrasting" (to the exterior wall paint) color as the door, so that there was no contrast. Jake offered to send the painter back to paint the trim the correct color, but that has not happened yet.

Hugo arrived on time and we reviewed the carpentry and painting work to be done as per the detailed quote received earlier. A few hidden areas of damage added to repair cost. All work completed as promised. Only delays were due to high winds.

It went very well and we have a difficult roof line for it to look nice and hidden.

They did a great job during the quote process and during the install of the gutters and during the painting/repair of the chimney.

It was fine. We were pleased with the job they gave for us. They did come back because the service was good. After the walkthrough, we discovered some areas that needed to be retouched and they did that for us. We had some minor issues, but they were "B".

Their estimate was higher than the competition so we went with somebody else. They were professional and they were timely. We had some repairs that we needed to have done to the walls and I thought that the prices on their repairs were higher than their competition. That was the only reason why we chose not to go with them.

I called for an estimate and an appointment was scheduled. Every step of the process was flawless. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and provided us with an outstanding job that was reasonably priced.

We were real pleased with their service. I liked that they were on time and did the job well.

The work was completed very quickly and professionally, the results were great. The area where the shingles were replaced cannot be distinguished from the rest of the roof. I had only a very small complaint, which is that the entire job was completed before the agreed upon job start time - I wanted to watch the repair. However, I value the results more and did not complain to the provider. I will definitely use them again if I need to in the future.

They did a great job. Their prices are excellent.

We worked with Jeff Haus and the whole process could not have gone any smoother. The only thing I would recommend is that the painters spend a little more time on the power washing and prep. All in all we have been very pleased with the results.

We found them on Angie's List. They were great about coming back and making sure that we were happy so their customer service aspect was pretty good. They addressed the concerns that we had, and they came back out a couple of times at no extra cost for us. We only got one other quote and they were lower than the other quote.

The estimated cost of service was competitive. They are very friendly and personable. It was a good deal, but I just went with someone else. My interaction with them was good.

It went very well. We are very satisfied with the service. The sales rep, Jeff Haus, is knowledgeable and easy to work with. He did a superb job of listening to our concerns and needs and responded well to us. Since we decided to paint the garage door and back siding a different color from the trim, Jeff brought samples to us to test on the surfaces. We appreciate that gesture. The crew came to our house on the day the project was scheduled. They cleaned all the surfaces and caulked everything and did minor repairs on the first day. The actual masking of surfaces and painting was done on the second day. We were very impressed with the skill and efficiency of the crew. The lead painter was friendly, competent, and worked hard to satisfy our preferences. They cleaned everything up and left our home looking clean and pristine. Nice job! Since our home is a one-story structure, the job was finished by 2:00 pm on the second day.

The price was pretty reasonable. We got quotes from three different companies and they were pretty good. They did a good job. They were pretty responsive. They were there when they were supposed to be.
