Mr Duct Cleaner

Professional service and very personable! Called the day before for estimated time of arrival. They called on the day of service for a time of arrival, then called later to confirm the time and tell me that they were going to be late--their previous job took longer than anticipated. No problem for me. They even cleaned the dryer vent, at an additional cost, but a huge undertaking with ease. They cleaned up after themselves and did a little extra by by vacuuming my stairs! Which I hate doing! Great job, Mr. Duct Cleaner!

They were late to appointment. North Texas Duct Cleaners (now Mr. Duct Cleaner, but with the same owner), DID NOT remove the covers of 27 ducts they quoted the price to clean, but instead went into the crawl space to clean the ducts so that they did not have to climb ladders to remove the duct covers, clean the ducts and replace the covers. Some of the ducts could not be reached from the crawl space so they just didn't clean those vents (inside 20' skylight and at back bathroom). I could not see how well they had cleaned the ducts, so when my furnace review was conducted in early fall (while the North Texas Duct Cleaning one-year warranty was in effect) A#1 Air said my ducts were dirty. I was very surprised since I had just recently paid North Texas Duct Cleaning $1,336.88 to clean my ducts. I have asthma and the furnace blew dirty particulates into my bedroom every morning causing me to cough and wheeze. I also had North Texas Duct Cleaners clean out my dryer venting. They had to move my washer and dryer to access the duct. They did not even replace the washer and dryer before they left my house, but left them in the center of my utility room. I had to hire a mover to move the items and level them to make them line up properly. I decided not to have them come out to my house to properly clean my ducting which they warranty. I was so disgusted with their service and attitude. Their performance was so sloppy. Another company has now re-cleaned my ducts and their service was superior at about half the price.

We were very happy with the service. Very professional approach, on time ,did not try to upsell any services ,very honest . Would recommend them to anyone looking for Airduct cleaning or air conditioner service. Once they were done with cleaning the ducts we were so satisfied we called them back for Air conditioner service.

They did a thorough, awesome job! Cleaned up after themselves. Professional, courteous, efficient and funny. John and Benito are a great team! We highly recommend these folks!

Had ducts and vents cleaned after home remodel. Was very impressed with this company and their crew. Very professional, worked very quickly and efficiently.

Went well. We had more ducts than were included in the special, but since we paid extra to have the blower cleaned out, we were not charged for them.

They were very professional and courteous. I was home with infant and they warned me about noise. They also suggested purchasing special filters because of baby and having 3 dogs. I also had doggy gate up, which they took off and put back on - so they could do the work. I also appreciated how fast they were and how they tried their best not to disrupt anything.

Not too good. They didn't do a very good job and they were in and out. They also added on a fee for extra ducts and they advertised, you know, all duct cleaning for a certain price but that's not how it turned out. I had to leave my home during the thing but my elderly mother was here and she said she doesn't even think they cleaned the ducts in my bedroom and bathroom. They came out around the time of the deal to do the work for me. I think they came out around October. They did charge more than the $149 of the deal. They charged I don't know how much extra per vent, they charged extra. They charged so much more after so many vents which they didn't put in there ad on Angie's List. I ended up paying them, I think it was $149 and it ended up being over $200. They partially did the air duct cleaning. I would give them an F because number one, it was deceptive in their great deal and they also did not do the full job. As soon as I was gone out of the house they took advantage of my mother and just didn't do the back room. They need to be honest and the big deal, they only clean x number of vents for that money and additional vents cost extra. I personally wouldn't use them again and I wouldn't recommend them again because like I said, once I left the home and my elderly mother was there, they did not do, finish the job, they left. So I wouldn't trust him to do anybodies job. They were deceptive about the price, I mean I don't mind paying the price, it's the deceptiveness that makes me mad. They didn't do what they said for the money. For responsiveness they called me right away.

They sent a team of two out. They were very professional and did a good job. However, they didn't work for more than an hour but charged me over $700, which I thought was a little absurd.

They where very professional and came right in explained what will be done then got started.

The manager or owner was so easy to talk to when I scheduled the appointment and he even called at the day of the appointment to make sure that everything would be as planned. The techinicians that came to clean the air ducts were on time, polite and efficient. Will definitely get their service again when the need arises.

Everything went okay with that. They were here two years ago. There were additional costs. I think it was an extra three hundred dollars. They did an okay job. They only did one part of it and I'm kind of disappointed now. The quality was alright. They could have been honest about the deal and they only did half of the deal.

They called ahead and showed up exactly when they said they would. They were very thorough. The cleaned the ducts as well as the grates. They inspected for mold. Fortunately they didn't find any. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased when the work was done. What a pleasure to work with them.

They arrived at the set time, went over the job to be done and then started very quickly. It had rained earlier in the day so I appreciated that they covered their shoes while they were in the house. It took aprox. 2 hours for them to clean our ducts and 15 vents in our 2,000 sq ft home. We are pleased with their work and will look to use them again in the future.

Provided a team of 3-4 guys to clean the air ducts and dryer vents. All went well and the service was rendered as planned.

Jason came in and assessed my home and determined that my home really needed a good cleaning. He and his associate had to cut the a/c vents to get them out since they were painted over and over again. There was very little damage done. They even put new screws in the vents when they replaced them. They were professional and were done in a flash.

They did an awesome job. My daughter was suffering from a major allergic reaction to our heat being turned on a few nights prior. As soon as I joined Angie's list I saw their deal and I read their amazing reviews. The owner contacted me by private message and by my cell phone. He was caring and moved appointments around to get me in as soon as possible. Since having my ducts cleans out ( which they said my return ducts had years and years of mass amounts of dirt and dust removed) I am happy to say my daughters symptoms were cleared in a few days Along with her medicine and the clean ducts I feel as though this saved her. This is something we will most likely have to have done each year before we turn on our heat and I will most definitely have this same company come back to my home. Thank you!!!!!

They were to clean 7 vents. apparently the machine they used ate one vent flapper and one pull chain. I emailed them and the technician that was here called back and said one didn't have a chain, that they would call back after they finished the job they were working. I got pictures to prove it did. Well no call. I opened the vent in the dining room and to my surprise the whole flapper apparatus was gone, and a bunch of debris all over the rug. So I checked the other one just the chain was gone. Then there's the matter of additional charges what for I don't know this was, not explained to me. I was told that the agreed upon price $149 .00 didn't include the tax. So I had to write another check. Now I have the additional expense of a new flapper if I can get one that size. I told them don't bother coming back, one session of incompetence is enough.Out of 7 vents they mess up 2. Glad I didn't have more. I'm emailing the provider the additional pictures, too bad I can't post them.

Contact was made within one day of purchasing the service. The time was set up with a couple of emails with no issues. They arrived on time and called before arriving. All aspects of what they were going to do were explained and all questions were answered fully. The crew was friendly, respectful and professional. They explained all they did and what was found and gave suggestions for continuing maintenance. They also inspected the heating and cooling units with no extra charge and did not try to upsell anything or any services beyond what was agreed. The dryer vent was also inspected at no charge. The entire experience was excellent. If I could give an A+ on the rating it was deserved. You may be able to find service for cheaper but you won't find better service or people. Trust is crucial when maintaining your home and I wouldn't call on anyone else for maintaining my cooling/heating units and duct work. I have already scheduled them for future services.
