Mr Duct Cleaner

They arrived promptly, were very courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. The work took the amount of time they told me it would take. One vent wasn't properly secured and fell of the day after they were there but I have an old house and the ceiling was not great stability where the screw went into the ceiling, but it would have been nice to get a heads up on that. Otherwise, all was great. They explained what they were doing and let me know the shape of the system and the ducts. I have noticed a reduction in allergies since then.

We had a very good experience with NTDC. Les Clow and the cleaning team were very knowledgeable, professional, and did a great job of cleaning and sanitizing our ducts and the hvac system. Before they started they walked us through the process and pricing. We were able to take advantage of an Angie's List coupon to discount some of the cost. The intake and returns had been painted over so they opted to clean from the unit itself in the attic. The whole process took a few hours and during the cleaning even went out of the way to repair a few ducts as well. Highly recommend!

Promptly returned my call and gave bid over the phone. Worked around my schedule and had techs here within 2 days. Techs were professional and answered all my questions. They were on time and left my home as clean as they found it. I will use them again when needed.

They arrived exactly on time and worked throughout the house with the utmost of precision, trying to not disturb me while I worked from home in my office. They did a fantastic job in minimizing the debris falling into the rooms while they cleaned the ducts and systems. They also did an exceptional job of cleaning up in each area as it was completed. Much better than I imagined it could be when I contracted for the job! The also were very honest. They did not try to expand on the job after they arrived. They told me what they were planning to do and then reconfirmed that nothing else was needed once they got further into the project. In all, they were very respectful with my home, taking care to gently move equipment without banging into walls or furniture. Very p ositive experience in total!

I initially looked for companies that were listed as members of the National Duct Cleaners Association. North Texas Duct Cleaning was among the few listed. I called for a free estimate, and spoke with the owner, who explained in detail the duct cleaning process and cost for each part of the process. After checking Angie's List, and seeing all the great reviews for this company, I decided to try them out. I was definitely glad I did. I would hire them again, and suggest them to family and friends. Thank you North Texas Duct Cleaners!

Two man team showed up during the one hour window, and even called to let us know they were on their way. The two guys were very professional and polite. They worked hard and diligent and cleaned up after themselves. This was a great experience. I read a few reviews and called a few companies and went with North Texas Duct Cleaning because everything was already included in the price that was quoted over the phone, no pushing sales during or after the cleaning. I will definitely use them again and refer them to anyone that needs their services.

The lady who owned the house before us had two or three cats. The day we moved in the A/C stopped working because it was full of cat hair. (Gross, I know!) So, obviously we called North Texas Duct Cleaning to clean out the air vents. They arrived on time and were very nice. Eventhough I am uncomfortable around people that I don't know, especially people in my own home, and double especially when all three of my preschoolers are home, I felt very comfortable having them work in our house. They were informative, but not intrusive. I would definitely use them again. They got out so much cat hair and dust. I am so glad we did that. There is also much less dust on our tables and shelves.

I chose them because they are licensed to work on the A/C furnace, and many duct cleaners are not. I bought the big deal of $240 for furnace cleaning + 10 vents. I told them when booking that the problem was the smell of smoke and they charged upfront another $60 because although they do the same process for non-smoke, it is more intensive. Fair enough. They did as they said they would do, showed me things along the way, and 3 days later...the house smells exactly the same. They had warned me of that. Other things that didn't work out well for us were that there were 13 vents and 1 return, and they charge $20 per extra over the 10. Other companies charge $11 for vents and $20 for returns. Also they had to cut the calking around the vents because someone had sealed them. I recommend you do the cutting (with exacto knife) yourself before they come, so you can be as careful as needed. Some of my vents were not cut out very well and tore off good chunks of the surrounding ceiling when the vent was taken off. Now I have to touch up paint (do you know how hard it is to match existing paint?) and hopefully not have to do any texture/drywall but we shall see.

They said they were going to clean the exterior compressor and they did not. One of our furnaces failed because it was dirty. Instead of cutting around the vents they pulled them off and now you can see jagged lines around the vents. To get that fixed I would have to repaint the area.

I just moved into my new home and had recently seen a video regarding what your air ducts really look like. Gross! I called these guys to come clean them out. They worked with my schedule and were punctual, courtesy, and competent with what they did. I was very pleased with their work and their professionalism.

I am very pleased with the work performed by North Texas Duct Cleaning. They were fantastic from start to finish! They were able to get me in on the same day that I called to schedule service. Even though they were performing the work at a deep discount (thanks to Angie's List) they didn't treat the job any differently than if I had paid full price. The technicians were very friendly and courteous. They ran into some issues with the dryer vent cleaning due to the fact that it had not been cleaned since the house was built 11 years ago, but they did what it took to do the job right. They spent the time to do it correctly and did not charge me more for the additional time they spent. I will have them back every year to clean that dryer vent and I will be telling all of my friends and neighbors about their great service... I am definitely a customer for life!

"Professionalism" is the term that best describes our experience with North Texas Duct Cleaning! During my initial call to get a bid, Les took the time to explain the different services offered and give me "air duct 101" information. After deciding to go with North Texas and setting up a time for service the whole event when like "clock-work"! Jason and Mike arrived on time, were very polite, explained what they were going to do, worked quickly, cleaned up as they went, and had me do a "walk through" before they left. I had asked several friends for recommendations and read many reviews before I even started calling for bids for this service. My friends had no recommendations so I relied heavily on Angie's List reviews. I can honestly say that all the "A" reviews for this company are well deserved!! I have already recommended this company to 2 friends and they just completed the service yesterday!!!!

They explained the procedures to us. They cleaned up after themselves. He was very nice to deal with and he was extremely accommodating.

THEY WERE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. QUOTE WAS DESCRIPTIVE AND PRECISE. SERVICES WERE FULLY EXPLAINED DURING QUOTE AND THE SERVICEMEN WERE EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. WE DID RECEIVE A LESS-EXPENSIVE QUOTE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY BUT THEIR SERVICES OFFERED WERE NOT AS COMPREHENSIVE OR THOROUGH. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WE DECIDED TO PAY MORE -- AND WE DEFINITELY GOT OUR MONEY'S WORTH.

It was excellent. They were on time, professional and did more than originally requested. Explained everything that needed to be done. Once we were all in agreement, they started on their assigned work. I would definitely use this company again.

Jason called prior to appointment, just as promised, and he arrived within the estimated time. He disconnected the dryer, then he ran a tool up the vent all the way to the roof and cleaned what came out. He replaced the dryer and tested it. It only took about 20 minutes. Just be aware there might be quite a bit of dust/lint left around after work is completed.

Les came out within a day of my call to do an estimate and assess what actually had to be done. I had called a few other A/C services off Angie's list to get an estimate for the coil cleaning and their prices were exorbitant. When I initially spoke to Les and he confirmed that his price for the service I needed was exactly what his coupon was offering, I couldn't believe it. When he came out to my new home to do the estimate, he was fair, honest, and really gracious in trying to help me with the enormous task at hand. He showed me a more than fair estimate and scheduled my services for within the next few days. Michael and Jason were the techs that came out and they were AWESOME. They showed us what was wrong with the system and explained how their services would make the units run more efficiently and cost-effective. I am truly blessed to have found Les and his team because my new home had a system that is only 10 years old, but wasn't very well cared for at all. The filters, ducts, and motor were filled with dog hair and the dust that had gathered from running the unit with a filter allowing all of that to just collect and create a mess. They did more than I expected for less that I thought and I couldn't be more happy and please. I have found my HVAC team for sure. If you are suffering from allergies, dust mites, and the like. Call them today and get an estimate to clean out your unit!

I called North Texas Duct Cleaning and left a voice mail. My call was returned promptly by Les Clow and he took 10 minutes to explain the whole process and discuss the free sanitizing that is offered to Angie's List members as well as provide an over the phone estimate. The team was running a few minutes late, but did call when they left their first appointment in McKinney to let me know when they would arrive so it was no big deal. They got to work immediately and I felt they did a good, through job. I did asked about dryer vent cleaning and was told it would run me around $125 which I didn't think it was worth it at the time. Later, I re-read the Angie's List special and it said it could be included for $50. Since I didn't set it up beforehand - it could have been the higher cost? So don't forget about your dryer vent... especially if it is vented out the roof. If it's vent through a wall and is not that long I would recommend doing it yourself and saving $50-$125 dollars. I was surprised when they were done that I was charged for additional vents over the 10 included with each system. (I apparently had 2 additional vents.) Since I've not had this done before, I wasn't aware that it was $20 per extra vent. This would be great information to have up front so your bill doesn't end up being more than you were expecting. Being the anal person that I am... I went back and recounted the vents several times and came up with one less than they quoted so Les Clow was kind enough to send me a reimbursement check for 1 vent. A warning if you have high ceilings - they may not be able to reach the entrance to these vents, but said they would run their equipment as far as they could through the duct work. I would also recommend doing a walk-thru with the techs - especially into the attic and have them explain the process - they were very helpful in expanding my "duct-less" knowledge and took the time to do this at the end when they were probably ready to head to their next job. Spending $700 in 2 hours is painful, but I supposed it's one of the joys of home ownership and will hopefully keep your systems running longer as well.
