Mr Duct Cleaner

The two men who showed up were more interested in doing the job quickly than doing it well. My husband had to withhold payment to get them to clean the lint from the vent that fell behind the dryer, and they still left a mess behind. When they put the dryer back in place, they left items wedged behind it that had fallen off of the dryer. And. despite my husband trying to make sure they secured the vent hose properly, our laundry room gets completely steamed up whenever we run the dryer. I would not use this company again.

Purchased a coupon for 10 ducts. Had 1 extra for an extra 20.00. They were responsive and professional. I would use them again

They cleaned the air ducts and did a very good job. They were very neat and there was no mess.

The deal was fine. The Big Deal was for only 1 A/C unit, but I actually have 3 A/C units! I did purchase another of the Big Deal and have the work done. They were quick to respond, punctual, and professional. The units looked brand new after they were finished!

The service went well. They communicated well, even while they were here, and answered all of my husband’s questions; they were thorough. During the work, they did not prepare or make any precautions beforehand in our kitchen area for the dirt that was about to fall through from the ducts. After they heard my husband, they came right down, were very apologetic and cleaned everything up. From then on, they made sure everything else was covered. Les came out again just to make sure everything was done right. We haven’t had any issues since they did the work and we were pleased. I called him twice after the work was done since I had a question about the humidifier, but my calls were never returned.

They showed up when they said they would and got the job done. It seems as though they did a good job.

They didn’t clean up very well after themselves, but other than that, they were well-mannered, polite, and got the job done! I did try to call them back for more work, but they never responded to my phone call.

After missing calls a bit back and forth, scheduled Sat. service a week or so out. They came on time with a crew of three, did a thorough job, taking less time than I thought would be the case. Explained everything they were doing, and left everything in good shape and clean. Having them quote me on the cost of adding additional insulation in the attic, and replacing our outside AC unit, which is 23 years old.

They were awesome. They were on time, professional, & the price - especially using the Angie's List discount - was more than reasonable. I had one issue with something & called them about it. They came back out that same day I called & did an inspection - checking the dryer vent, went up on the roof to check the exterior vent. They went above & beyond & I would use them again.

The crew was punctual, professional and very thorough. They explained everything they did and did a great job cleaning-up before leaving.

1) Rotobrush cleaning does not support 100% coverage. The length of the brush is 35 feet. However most cases it could not be extended more than 4-5 feet when the air ducts are cleaned from outside the air ducts. Thats because it hits a curve every time. When the cleaning is done from inside the attic, they never got extended more than 8 ft at the most 10ft. There are ducts in my home which ran much longer than that , which I believe, did not get coverage. 2) You need to be up at the attic when the cleaning is done...100% of the time. 3) I do not know why the air ducts are not taped up when the rotobrush is used from the attic. That would let less dust flow from the air ducts when the brush is used from the attic. 4) There is a bag collector of the rotobrush system...which is like a vacuum bag. You may want to find out what was collected for your rotobrush run at the end of the service. Ideally it should be started with an empty bag so you know how much dust if at all, was from your home. I forgot to do the check. Couple of places mildew was identified at the air duct vents and that was dealt with The guys who came did conduct themselves well.

It was a great experience. Les (the owner) responded really fast to my call and understood exactly what I needed to have done in my house. I first had my ducts cleaned, then two weeks later I had the HVAC replaced (my old one was over 25 years old) and then his crew added insulation in the attic. Very simple and the men were very fast. I think the HVAC replacement took 4 hours.

My husband and I, along with our three young children, moved into our current home about 6 months ago. The house is 7 years old and the previous owners had dogs - we've noticed a lot of dog hair in the carpeting (despite my constant vacuuming!) and the house is CONSTANTLY dusty. I have to dust every day/every other day to keep up with it. Additionally, our 5-year-old son has developed allergies and our 18 month-old daughter was recently diagnosed with asthma. Our doctor told us, among other things, that we might want to consider having our ducts cleaned. After exhaustive research on Angie's List, we decided to go with North Texas Duct Cleaning - primarily because of their high rating and because they are NADCA certified. The guys were scheduled to arrive at 8:30 in the morning. They called to let me know they were on their way and they arrived on time. They were very polite, EXTREMELY careful with their equipment and before they even walked in the front door they were slipping on shoe covers. There was absolutely NO mess and they were very conscientious about their work - no fooling around, no cutting corners. (They were very nice and quite funny, especially given that my kids tried to follow them around to ask questions! However, they did take their job seriously and really knew their stuff.) They were very knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions - they were also honest, which was refreshing. They were quick to tell me what was going on in the ductwork (mainly dust - very little pet hair and no mold) and gave me tips on how to keep the system running smoothly as well as how to help rid the carpeting of any residual pet hair. They said that this type of deep cleaning is really only needed every 5 years or so and that a mere dryer vent cleaning and HVAC check is needed yearly. The price that was quoted over the phone (by Les, the owner) was the price I paid and there was NO upselling or trying to convince me to use other unneeded services. I was overall very pleased with their work and their attention to detail and would most definitely recommend them to anyone.

Very good experience. Crew was on time, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company. Ask about any discounts or specials that may be available. The after-Christmas special was outstanding!

The crew arrived on time and I thought were thorough and efficient. While setting the appointment I asked Les Clow if they would measure each vent opening since I wanted to order new ones. He said they would do that for me. I've thought for years that I "should" clean the air ducts in my house but wondered if it would truly make a difference. North Texas Duct Cleaning had excellent reviews and were running a special, so I took the plunge. I really noticed a difference in the air quality and would certainly have them provide the service again in the future.

I called to schedule the service on Saturday, needing them to perform the service on Monday or Tuesday. They were great at fitting me into their schedule. The 3 man team arrived on time, answered all questions asked, were very courteous and performed all work in a timely manner. I will definitely use them again.

The guys showed up promptly. They explained everything that they did and, also, showed me how I could better take care of my AC unit. There was a part that was very worn. They showed it to me, explained what might happen when the part eventually broke. I told them to go ahead and replace the part. They did not have it on the truck at that time, but came back within a week, replaced it, and billed me for the part. All in all, a very easy service call!

Arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. I will use them again when needed and recommend them.
