Mr Duct Cleaner

The team called to let me know that they would be a little later then originally expected as they were delayed at the previouslt appointment.. They actually arrived earlier than the rescheduled time and got right to work. My house has 2 systems and I purchased 2 coupons for the work. There were still a few more vents than covered but the add on pricing was reasonable. They did an assesment when they arrived and gave me the total costs before they started work. I appreciated that. The team worked efficiently and were pleasant and professional. I was very pleased with the work they preformed and will choose this company in the future when this needs to be done again. I know the vents in this home had never been cleaned prior and in January I had hardwood floors put into some of the rooms in the house. They told me the vents really did need to be done and I can already acknowledge that the amount of dust accumulation in the house after the vents were cleaned has diminished . I feel better knowing the air pushed thru those vents is now cleaner.

I told them I only wanted 2 people in my home and the owner agreed to that. The owner sent 4 people and when I told him I only wanted 2 people in my home at one time he said that it would be all 4 people or not doing the work. They left without doing any work and did not even tell me they were leaving.

I was very impressed. They called before arrival and arrived on time. They were clean, polite, respectful and articulate. The dryer vent was through the attic with a power-assist motor. They cleaned it all very quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They gave good advice and did not try to "up sell" or add any additional services. Very pleasant experience.

I spoke with the provider in advance and explained that 2 other providers on Angie's List were unable to clean my dryer vent due to the length of the dryer vent line (approximately 40 feet). Provider stated they could complete the service by cleaning from both sides. I warned the provider that previous attempts to clean the dryer vent line failed with the same approach. He stated he could add an attachment to extend the reach of his equipment. Provider spent 3 hours attempting to clean my 40 foot dryer vent line with a 20 foot auger. Had the provider had a longer auger (or at least rented one down the street at SUnbelt Rentals), they would have been able to complete this service. When the provider gave up on completing the cleaning, they showed the inside of my dryer vent line with a camera snake and my dryer vent is still extremely clogged and non-functional. This makes 3 Angie's List providers that were unable to clean my 40 foot dryer vent line. In Response to Provider's Reply: The provider states in their reply: "We will be glad to come out and remove the sheetrock and gain access and clean the vent with the members approval." After noticing this reply I called the provider to request that they come back out and complete the dryer vent cleaning by removing sheetrock as stated in their reply. After explaining how his crew would remove sheetrock and complete the dryer vent cleaning , he had the audacity to say that completing the job would c ost me an additional $175, on top of the original $89 I have already paid! Hmmmmm, I wonder why he didn't mention that in his reply to my review?

Fantastic job of spotting the overheating problem and knowing how to fix it.

Technician called approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival and when arriving, began the cleaning process. We had a different company about three years prior accomplish duct cleaning, but it was a complete ripoff. That company spent less than an hour, did no vacuuming, sprayed some liquid down the ducting, dripping on the carpet, generally doing something to collect over $350. This time it was totally different. NTDC technicians came in with their vacuum units, one working in the attic area, the other in the house. They removed all the ceiling vents (14) and opened the two air return vents. The technicians wore "booties" over their shoes to protect the carpet. They also put down plastic on the floor for any debris that came out. With the comments from the techs, they proved my suspicions that the previous contractor collected money for doing nothing. Notable was the amount of construction debris, paint overspray, and overall dust/dirt in the ducting that was vacuumed out (most likely had been there since the house was built in 1996) Also cleaned was the a/c evaporator coil. I didn't think it was very dirty, but we had quite a lot of remodeling done over the last two years, so probably helped to improve circulation. The technicians also made numerous comments about the cleanliness of the entire house, saying this is the cleanest house they have ever seen. Pricewise, ir was a little more than I expected, but with the professionalism and enthusiasm displayed, well worth the expense. A little extra was also provided which I didn't expect. Overall, we received more than expected, and extremely pleased to recommend North Texas Duct Cleaning for service and professionalism.

The men were very courteous and careful. They cleaned all the ducts and replaced the duct vents and cleaned the ac unit. They wore shoe protectors and answered all my questions.

They were AWESOME!!! Called before they came. Came early. Got in, and worked fast and did a great job. Explained things to me and didn't try to "upcharge" me on anything. I would definitely use them again!

It went well overall. Unfortunately, I did not realize that my house had more vents than was allowed for on the angie's list special that this company had, so I had to pay extra to clean the extra vents. Again, this was entirely my fault but a bummer that I had to pay more. These guys did an excellent job. They were punctual, friendly, and very efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The crew was professional, polite and knowledgable. They arrived on time and went right to work. Great communication when a problem was discovered with my air conditioner. They were able to send out another qualified repair person the very next morning who was one of the most polite people I have ever met. The price for all the services were fair and upfront. I would definitely do business with them again!

Went fantastic. The two guys were on time, professional and extremely thorough. They were in my house for approx 3 hours cleaning ducts and washing vents. Extremely pleasant and productive as they worked their way through my house. I usually am hesitant to order the "deals" but these two guys were great.

We purchased two big deals, one for duct sealing and one for duct cleaning. They showed up on time and made it easy to schedule a time and merge two different Angie's List deal purchases. The cleaning is well worth the price. They did a great job cleaning every room vent and the return grates as well as vacuuming the ducts inside with a rotating brush that also vacuums the debris out of the ducts. The vent grates are very clean now and the home truly smells MUCH cleaner. We are very satisfied with this service. The only down side is that we were charged about $125 extra after the service because the deal I believe is only for 10 vents and 1 return, we had 14/4 I believe. We did not realize that this limitation was there, but that may have been our fault. Even with the additional costs the duct cleaning is worth it and done very well. The duct sealing is something that we feel was not worth the price. For $125, we expected the worker to examine the vents for damage or leaks and seal the leaks. Half of the ducts in our home are pretty difficult to access. The worker said that he looked into the attic crawl space to view the ducts, but I did not see any ladder marks in the carpet, which would have been there if he truly climbed up there. He said that if there were any leaks the roto-brush would have got caught on the gap and insulation would have come out as well. He may have actually examined the ducts and there may be no damage, but this was hard for me to believe. In the end we paid $125 for him to put some concrete putty stuff around the ducts that attach to the main unit. This may be helpful, but didn't seem to be worth $125. My advice to the company for duct sealing is to bring a digital camera along and show the homeowners pictures of the ducts so that they will know for certain that the worker actually climbed up there to visually examine any leaks in the ducts. Ideally, a PDF report with images would be perfect! The duct cleaning is worth the price, but I personally would not pay for the duct sealing again.

Les and his team were punctual, efficient and knowledgable. I will definitely use them again as AC repair / maintenance as well.

Everything was done properly and he pointed some things out for me during the appointment which will make the system more efficient. Scheduling was easy and they were able to come out to my home quickly. They were only at my home for about 30 mintues. The technician was professional and explained what he was doing as he was doing it. The next day, the AC unit connection was broken and we found a leak around the valve however, I am not sure if it was related to this provider.

They came on time for the appointment and put on little booties to stay clean in our home. Two technicians came and they were finished in about an hour and a half. Scheduling was very easy, they called me to schedule the work. They gave great service and everything went according to plan.

They have great communication and give great work. They were on time for the appointment and we were able to schedule over email. They were able to come out within a couple of days of me contacting them. There were 3-4 technicians and it took about 3-4 hours. This was the first time I had used them.

Crew arrived a little late but called early in the day to advise that they would be there about 1 hour late due to another job they were on.

They were on time for the appointment and were very clean. They even put little booties on to keep clean. They went in from the top to start cleaning. My house does not have a musty odor anymore. There were two technicians that came out and it took about an hour to finish the job. They gave me an Angie's List discount as well.

These guys are great from start to finish. They were so good I used them at my office for service. Hands down the best company to have your AC or Furnace maintained. You will not be disappointed.

It was easy to schedule an appointment. They completed the work in about three hours. There was 90$ of additional fees beyond the price of the Big Deal for the services. They did a good job.

Four people showed up to the appointment which was really impressive. They immediately identified the problem and were able to solve it. They gave a lot of advice and information to me about my duct. They were able to come out very quickly to my home. I was very pleased with their service.

They came over and reviewed with me what the Deal included and that I would have to pay for any additional vents that exceeded the amount. My Deal also included the dryer vent and when he went to work on that, he found that the duct went up into the attic and out the roof. Not only did he clean it out, but he also discovered that the duct disconnected somewhere and that all the air from the dryer was actually blowing into our attic! I guess, our home inspector missed that. He temporarily fixed it and gave me a recommendation on who to contact to get it permanently fixed. The attic vent was not easily accessible and it was very hot up there. I'm thankful he discovered the problem before something worse could have happened. Overall, they were professional and very courteous and were done with everything in about an hour and a half.

The service was standard. It worked out fine and I have no complaints.

We had been having problems getting our rooms temperature balanced and the internal temperature of the house overall was too hot. The added insulation and duct reroute helped greatly.
