Handyman Matters did a fantastic job repairing the retaining wall that bordered the pool. They matched the mortar perfectly and transformed an eyesore into a like new wall. Crayden was professional, very competent and a pleasure to work with . I won't hesitate to use Handyman Matters again and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a professional handyman service.

The price was exorbitant for the amount of work that was done. There were several other small jobs we wanted to have done but with the amount of time taken on these very simple tasks, I stopped all work.

They were prompt and professional and the man they sent out did a very nice job. When I called them to set up the appt I explained what needed to be done and was quoted a rough price of $560.00 for ceiling and window work. When the handyman arrived and filled out the estimate paperwork the price went to 900-1100 for the job. He stated the man I spoke with on the phone, when I set up the appt, did not understand what I wanted done. I was very clear and concise about the work to be done. When the work was finished the job cost me over 1200.00. Although they did a very nice job I was not happy about the 3 different prices and ended up paying the highest price. I might use them again but would want a secured estimate in writing that did not waiver at the end of the project.

I had a very nice initial conversation with the owner via phone. He was very personable and explained both the company vision as well as how the process would work. (I was a first time customer.) We scheduled a 9AM service visit for the next morning. GREAT! At 9AM sharp, handyman David was at my door. He was professional in appearance and attitude. We had an initial assessment and goals conversation to set the scope of work. I assumed there would be more work, but his advice lead to less work (and cost). Rare integrity in todays world. The end product result was very professional. I am very pleased with the results and I feel the price paid was expected and within initial cost estimates. No hidden charges. Very straightforward and honest all the way through. I will use them again and recommend them to others.

Gave estimate for several items including, painting, replacing weather stripping, & replacing lights, worker arrived late, did not know about the painting, unprepared, did not want to do the painting, wanted to redo estimate for painting to include extra cost, said unable to replace weather stripping without replacing the doors, more extra cost, so I just had him replace the lights & repair a cabinet, tried to get them to come back to give another estimate but they didn't even bother to call back. Guess they are too busy, not sure why. Got the impression it was a bait & switch to charge more & more.

My mailbox was leaning really bad so I was afraid everytime we got heavy winds that it would topple. I called HandyMan Matters and they checked it out and gave me a price. Then, Crayden, who was to do the work came and talked to me and we settled for the date he would do the work. He was right on time; worked steadily, and did a fantastic job. He actually came in about $300 under the quote I was given because he was able to find the materials at a better price. I've already recommended this company to friends who have used them and they are just as thrilled as I am with them.

These guys saved me about $500 over the original estimate by getting a custom made door and getting it to hang in the existing frame. Fits like a glove and my dogs are happy as can be.

A very good experience all the way around. Good communication before and after the fact (including a phonecall to make sure that I was satisfied with the service). Tyler came out to look at my door and assess what was needed to fix it. He gave me a range of options and prices, but I never felt like he was trying to "up sell" me on more than I needed. I did, however, agree to have him add some new weatherstripping to the door being repaired to make it more energy efficient; it added almost nothing to the amount of labor time, and the materials were inexpensive. Tyler performed the work on schedule and efficiently. A day or so later, the door started sticking - almost surely because of rain and NOT the repair job. Still, Tyler came out and did some fine-tuning at no additional cost to make sure I was happy. Before he left, I made sure to get his card and a refrigerator magnet for future reference.

Very responsive on request and quote, including explaining the breakdown of charges and work for the quote. Excellent work ethic, quality work. Completed work within budget. Consulted me when he thought a small change might be better, maximized reuse of materials when possible. Very pleasant - and easy to tell that they take pride in their work and the integrity of their company. I will definitely reach out to them again when I'm ready for my next project!

I am very happy that I had a handyman perform the work. There was some difficulty, but Crayden was able to complete the job. He stayed to make sure the washer worked okay. I was grateful. He even offered my husband some of his tools since we just moved in and all of our things were stilled packed. Very nice and professional. I will definitely call agaiin.

Andrew and Rodney worked together for parts of three days on the project. Andrew was the lead on the job and was there until the job was completed on the fourth day. Both Andrew and Rodney were professional, pleasant, and hard working. They worked efficiently as a team and did not waste time. The work quality was excellent. They did a good job of cleaning up the job site.

Tyler showed up right on time and ready to work. After I showed him what needed to be done, he showed me the type of hook he was going to use to hang the large, heavy mirror in my bedroom to be sure it would hold. After I told him how high I thought the mirror should be hung and he did exactly as I asked, I realized it was much too high. I felt terrible asking Tyler to re-hang the mirror but he re-hung the mirror and patched the original hole. The mirror is perfect height now. Tyler assembled and hung a cabinet in the master bath super fast, changed the swing on my clothes dryer door and also patched a wall that I put some holes in trying to be a handy-woman. Tyler was very friendly and professional. I would definitely use Handyman Matters again in the future and will recommend to anyone who needs handyman services. Thank you Tyler and Handyman Matters for doing what I couldn't and getting it done so quickly.

We have used this company twice now and have always been pleased with their work. Tyler came out today and whipped out the job within a few hours. He was professional, meticulous, and thorough.

Arrived on time. The craftsman was professional and put down drop cloths in the work area. He worked quickly and efficiently, verified that the way the molding needed to be installed was going to be acceptable to us. Would definitely use their services again. The communication with Tim at the office was also excellent.

Andrew was my handyman, and he showed up right on time and worked very hard for a solid 2.5 hours. I couldn't believe how much he was able to get done. In the end, he finished my entire to-do list. The only thing that required some follow up was a leaking hose bib that ended up needing a plumber. Andrew was able to refer a plumber to me right then and was able to get it fixed within a few days. Overall, he was such a hard worker and I will definitely use Handyman Matters again when I get a new list going! I find using handyman services much more economical and efficient than hiring individual specialized contractors.

Final result was fairly good, although a single coat of primer/paint didn't quite fully cover the drywall taping and repairs. After I described what needed to be done, the estimate I got emailed back was for $1,280. During subsequent conversation with Tim, their estimator, we agreed that we could dispense with the texturing; that dropped the estimate to $800. At their rate of $80/hour, this represented 10 hours of work. When Jack arrived to do the work, he said that it would take a lot more work to repair the drywall and do the painting. I can understand that seeing firsthand the condition of a 1985 garage that had never been painted, had many nail holes in it, and had sagging drywall in areas of the ceiling, could make the estimate increase, but it more than doubled, to a range of 18 to 24 hours (the range to allow for uncertainty in the actual hours required). The company bills the actual time spent in 15-minute increments. The issue I had with the estimate is with Tim's, not Jack's. Had Tim asked more questions to gather more information, I believe he could have made a better initial estimate of the job. Andy, the owner, agreed to give me a 10% discount on the labor as a result. And the time Jack ultimately needed was in the middle of his 18-24 hour range. (The rest of the price was due to materials costs, not including the paint which I purchased, and a $45 service charge.) The other result of the initial estimate being so far off was that Jack had been scheduled for other jobs after his planned 10-hour allocation to mine. Hence, the extra time required for completion pushed the job into the following week. Jack was thorough and knowledgeable. He worked diligently and carefully. He was punctual and cleaned up the work area once he was done. I am satisfied with the quality of the work; Jack certainly knew what he was doing. However, I was not pleased with the cost and completion schedule.

Crayden quoted the job accurately and performed all the work, except the electrical. He did coordinate with the electrician when it came time for the light switch to be moved. We were more than satisfied with the work, professionalism and price. Because my husband is a wheelchair user, we have used a lot of handymen and contractors. This company is one of the best we've used. We will be using them again for future repairs and projects.

Andrew Hagan was awesome. He showed up on time. Very professional. Did everything we had on our list and even stayed over the amount of time he had scheduled to make sure everything was completed and professional done. We WILL be using the service again. With a nearly 30 year old home, there is always something to work on.

I called Handyman Matters at 10:00 AM about my leaking kitchen sink and they sent someone out at 11:00 AM. Rodney arrived on time, looked at the leak and knew exactly what was wrong. I needed to replace my garbage disposal. He replaced the disposal, fixed the leak and also fixed a toilet that I had "fixed" earlier. He was very nice, knew what he was doing and got the work done quickly and perfectly.

Fantastic experience. When I contacted them, they responded promptly with an estimate for the work I wanted done. It was easy to schedule the job, and the handyman showed up on time. The work was completed in the estimated time for the estimated cost. He was friendly, and did a great job!

I was very happy with the service that Handyman Matters and Andy Bush provided. They were prompt in responding to my need and they did very good work. They left the workplace clean and in good shape when there were finished. Most importantly, I felt that I could trust them and I felt comfortable having them around my home.

Amazing service. I have tried many different handymen who only seemed to want to help me if it was a "big" job. I only needed about two hours of help hanging pictures and mounting bookcases to the walls, but Jack did everything very happily and quickly. I will definitely use them again. As a matter of fact, I'm going to call them right now!

Overall, we were very happy with the performance of this company. Tim Graser, Operations Manager, was very responsive, helping us find solutions on an onging basis as the work was being performed. Andy, the owner, showed up every day to check on the work and assist as needed. We had two handymen, James and Crayden, both who were very skilled and helpful. We had some minor glitches, and found that the rotted siding on the house was much worse than what our inspector had indicated, so the cost went up dramatically, but this company was very responsive, very honest, showing us everything that they were doing and helped us by giving us a "volume" discount because the cost was so much higher than what we originally anticipated. I would definitely use the company again for handymen work around the house in the future.
