"Absolutely avoid Pioneer Home Services at all costs!!!!!!!!!! I had the misfortune of dealing with them when our A/C went out, and I chose them based on their seemingly great Google reviews. However, my experience was a nightmare. Their technician, Michael Miller, tried charging me a ridiculous $1100 for a simple capacitor and contactor switch. That only amounted to $40 online and 15 minutes of work. He actually tried to claim the parts alone were worth $800, which was beyond ridiculous. When I tried to verify the parts cost myself, Michael seemed hesitant and evasive about the quote, which immediately raised red flags. Later on, he quoted me $392 for the same job, which just added insult to injury. Save yourself the headache and find another HVAC company that actually values its customers. Pioneer Home Services, especially the technician Michael Miller, are the poster children for why people shouldn't rely solely on Google reviews to judge a company's credibility. AGAIN, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!"

"Like any job like this there were some issues but most were resolved. We had our master tub removed and our shower extended to create a double shower. The workmanship was excellent in the new wall construction, tile and window replacement. It looks great and we love it! We also had our floors replaced and are satisfied with work, too. One of the first projects they started on was sanding our steps to match the new floors. This created dust that settled over all the walls. We also had most of our walls and ceilings painted. All this dust created streaks and pitting in parts of the walls & ceilings as they painted over all the dust and dirt. Painting was not done with quality consistency. Moved my refrigerator recently and found only one coat was painted leaving the old paint showing through. As I pointed out issues they were "fixed" like dabbling here and there but again the quality is unsatisfactory. The painting is the only reason this contractor did not get 5 stars. My recommendation is to make sure your painting is hired out to real professionals."

It opened up the kitchen so much giving us more counter and work area. The space looks so much larger and lighter with the beautiful quartz top(one piece). Fast turn around on this project and pleasant to work with. The second project was a drop ceiling in our basement. It is a large area and the tiles and lights add so much to the appearance. It is just beautiful and so much lighter now. This project was finished very quickly and efficiently. These guys are just great. They are all so polite and so careful with everything. Very trustworthy and price conscious."
