My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a home. The mortgage lender requires a certification letter from a licensed pest control company that the house appears to be free of any active termites or severe termite damage. Originally I had planned to use a different company than Styles, but I had a bad experience with them and the deal fell through. I have written another review for that company on Angie's List. The whole fiasco with the other company happened on Wednesday last week. I called Harold from Styles Pest Patrol that afternoon, and he was able to schedule the inspection for Friday evening. We were running up against a deadline to have the inspection completed, and Harold graciously agreed to come out on very short notice. On Friday evening he performed the inspection as promised. Turns out the house doesn't have a problem with termites, but he did recommend treatment for spiders and ants. I have already scheduled him to come back after we close on the house to treat it for the other pests. Harold is very pleasant to work with, and I think it's nice to communicate with the actual person doing the work rather than secretaries at the office of a larger company. So far, so good with Styles Pest Patrol! I only wish we had went with Styles from the beginning so we could have saved time and avoided all the hassle in dealing with the other company.

Harold responded quickly to our call to identify the kind of "bug" we had coming up from the basement foundation and through the window framing upstairs. He knew exactly what we were dealing with (fortunately not termites). He thoroughly treated the area which solved the problem and said he'd come back if needed and do a second treatment at no cost, but that was not necessary. Harold was prompt and professional which gave us confidence in his ability....in addition to his years and years of experience. On one visit he was going to be a few minutes late and called to let us know; he still arrived within 15 minutes of the original scheduled time. He was very honest and told us what treatments are not effective.

They have gotten rid of all of our pests, including sugar ants and camel crickets, for over 20 years. The family-owned business is operated by respectful, friendly, compassionate people. The work is performed by well-trained, kind, efficient, very professional workers. I have hired Styles Pest Control for over 20 years to take care of my home because of the results of the work and the positive experience having them come over always is. Every three months "Harold the bug man", owner of the business, will call to set up a convenient time for them to come spray. Usually his two sons will arrive at the time scheduled, and one will come inside and spray around windows, doors, baseboards, and probably other places. I don't watch that closely. His brother will go around the house spraying on the outside. They are always friendly but unobtrusive. They do a complete job, but also finish quickly. I HIGHLY recommend Styles Pest Control.
