"Over two months to get house plans. Communication was dismal and the majority of my phone calls and emails were ignored. After I put down my initial deposit. I was ignored for so many weeks, I was beginning to think the company was fake. Draftsman never asked a single question. Not a good look when each round of revisions are charged by the number of changes. My final payment was requested before receiving house plans. Payment was sent and plans were immediately provided despite never having discussed or seen electrical and plumbing, etc. There was an error on the final plans and it took an act of Congress to get it changed. To be fair the final product was excellent but the ulcers I developed over this whole process would make me rethink using Evolution."

By using a funds collecting company [Buildertrend] much like a construction-oriented PayPal, Tricities Remodeling Co overcharged me for a service that they didn't even perform. A structural engineering company that did an inspection for us, charged $385 for their fee. However, Tricities Remodeling Co [located in Gray, Tn] chose to separately invoice, charge and collect $700, without my knowledge of the actual charge from the service provider. I only discovered the overcharge while trying to get Tricities Remodeling company to provide me with a statement of the findings [they still haven't] for any future references involving ins., etc. When I brought this to their attention, they ignored me Also, approximate times of completion were GROSSLY over estimated and their project proposal didn't include major items such as flooring, ceiling improvements, etc., & several other items discussed & wanting 5,000 for a free-standing coffee bar cabinet! BE WARNED"
