I had the best young men that worked for me. They did a crawl space encapsulation . They were the most polite well mannered young men you would ever want to meet. The group included Lewis White, Joe Stepp and Alex Smith. I can't say enough about these young men. 5 STARS.

Great value, extremely fast work.

Our problem was that our 500 sqft crawl space would collect water after heavy rains. The insulation was sagging and mold was developing on the wood. I contacted AFS and another company to compare bids. I chose AFS over the competitor for two reasons. 1. The sales rep Austin (with AFS), actually crawled through the entire crawl space and took pictures. The competitor did not. Austin then went through the pictures and discussed the problems we were having and suggested we add a drainage system and encapsulate the area. I told Austin that I was looking at another company to compare work and bids and would let him know by the end of the week. There was absolutely no sales pressure. Austin told me he understood and to take my time. The other company said it would be a 3-4 day job and Austin said it would be a 2 day job. 2. Both companies said they would deal with the mold. The other company would use some sort of gas to kill the mold. AFS said they use baking soda to actually blast away the mold off the wood, and then spray it with an environmentally safe solution to keep the mold from returning. Both companies would add a dehumidifier. The pricing for both companies was comparable. Primarily for the reasons above, I chose to go with AFS as I felt their presentation was much better and I liked their approach to deal with the mold. I did tell Austin that I was very skeptical because of how low the crawl space was. He assured me theyà ¢à à ve worked in smaller spaces but I was still skeptical. I emailed Austin a couple of times with some questions and he was always quick to reply with answers and even sent me the pictures he had taken when I asked for copies. As to job performance, Adam, LaMarcus, KeAndre, and Zach did an excellent job both days. Adam called me each day to let me know they were on the way and they always on time. The team was very professional and courteous. Each day they made sure the work area was cleaned up. In talking with a couple of the guys I learned that they have actually worked in spaces tighter than mine which helped alleviate my skepticism. The team was very friendly and freely answered any questions I had about what they were doing. They stayed focused on the job and had completed the entire work by 2pm the second day. I crawled in the space to inspect the work and found a clean crawl space encapsulated just as Austin had described in his presentation. Adam said when he turned on the dehumidifier it read approx. 85%. By the time I left the crawl space it was down to approx. 77%. We also tested the sump pump. Needless to say, Ià ¢à à m no longer skeptical. Everything I was told would be done was completed. I rarely write reviews but AFS deserves this one.

We hire Taylor Graham for this project and signed a contract for over 8,000. and paid them. They never finished the job and now will not return our calls.

They did both foundation and basement drainage work for us. Very reliable and works great!

Tyler,Ryan and Ethan did great , They were polite, quick to do the job and cleaned up everything associated to the job. I would definitely recommend AFS and these three men. I had a internet repairman come in a few days later and he mentioned that he had never seen a better job done

Project was a disaster. AFS claimed to have installed EZ Flow and a sump pump per our contract and that the job was complete. A company came in a week after them to Jack the kitchen floor and informed me my crawl space was completely flooded. They failed to dig trenches for the EZ Flow pipe, they failed to slope the ground at all, and they failed to bury it into the ground six inches as required in order for it to fill with water. My crawl space is worse now than it was when I hired them The entire transaction was very deceitful and two months later I still have a flooded crawl space.

We had hoped it would be answer to water issues but it was not. However they fixed other issues that were very needed.

Professional, thorough, courteous

Upon inspection, we were shown, via computer, the conditions currently existing and the manner in which AFS would proceed to correct the situation. The decision was made to proceed, a contract signed electronically and a deposit was requested and submitted. The inspector indicated he was having electronic difficulties; was unable to print a copy of the contract, but would submit it as soon as possible. This required several phone calls and a threat to cancel before a copy of the contract was received by email. When the crew arrived the foreman handed us a statement for the full amount of the contract. There was nothing indicated for the deposited amount. That required additional contacts by the foreman to correct the situation. (This was an extremely "shocking" development considering the previous circumstances regarding the paperwork!) The crew did what they could in replacing a pillar under the house but could not bring the floor back to level. They were afraid to use hydraulic jacks unless I would take responsibility for damage. They lifted the foundation approx. 3/4" on the southwest corner of the house bringing it back to level. The work done by the crew was totally acceptable and the foreman did a very good job when explaining exactly what was occurring. As requested by the foreman prior to their departure, , a check was submitted for the balance remaining.
