This is a follow-up to a previous review from 9.19.2024 After posting this review, we were contacted and came to a mutually agreeable resolution. You need to know that they do not do cosmetic work, and they will do the best they can to solve your problem.

On time. We just had flooding making the job more challenging. Nice folks, very courteous and professional. Cleaned up the job site as best as they could.

This is an update to the review below: I was contacted by AFS Chattanooga after writing this review. They were very understanding of our concerns and we came to an agreement that satisfied both of us. My only other comment is that you need to understand that they do not do cosmetic repairs and they will do the best they can to get the problem solved. We contracted with AFS Chattanooga to level part of our driveway and the steps outside of our garage. We are not happy with the final product. The salesman told us they would be able to do what we requested. We also had them seal the cracks in the driveway. At the time, we asked if they could make it blend in with the driveway. We were told they could not match it, but gave us the impression that it would blend and not be too noticeable. They came to do the work on September 11, 2024. They were unable to get the garage step leveled. I was told by Paris the foreman, they do not guarantee that they will be able to make it level, but they would only try. Not the answer I was expecting. If he thought it was not going to work, he never should have attempted to lift it. I now have a broken door sill that needs to be replaced.  The driveway was done, as best they could ;. It looks much better from the leveling perspective. However, the sealant they put down is not even close to blending. It is gray and our driveway has a pebble stone finish which is more brown.  I said that it was not acceptable, and Paris told me that AFS does not do cosmetic work. Not what I wanted to hear after the salesman said they would do the best they could and gave us the impression it may not match perfectly but would be close and blend.. Now my driveway looks terrible with gray stripes where the cracks were filled. This was not an inexpensive project and we are woefully disappointed. We lodged our concern immediately on September  12, 2024, with the company and was told, that it was just the way it is. We were told that our complaint would be brought up with management and we have heard nothing since. It has been one week to the day since the work was done. We want our money refunded for the back step since they accomplished nothing more than breaking the sill and would like some restitution for the mess with the sealant.

Adam, Imauri, and John did a wonderful job in my crawl space. They took a lot of pictures to show me their work. They were very professional and arrived on time. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Parris Houchins and Benjamin Esparza did an outstanding job repairing the entrance to my driveway. A couple of wrecks had damaged the concrete and caused it to sink and crack. AFS came in and lifted the sunken areas and then replaced the broken concrete. AFS does business the old fashioned way - they do what they say, and they fix it right the first time. Highly recommend this company.

Taylor [Provider Name Removed], Donald [Provider Name Removed], and Cody [Provider Name Removed] did a great job on our basement floor. They were punctual, professional, and polite. They completed the project quickly, and cleaned up the work area very well.

AFS exceeded every expectation I had for my home repair and crawlspace encapsulation. Mike Truelove, Brady Webster and Chris Smith are an incredible crew to work with on our recently purchased home. Our home had a structural issue that was complicated by a water leak that the original homeowner tried to haphazardly fix and then hide from us. Instead of suing we hired AFS on a recommendation that they could repair the home properly. Mike, Brady and Chris could not have been more professional to work with, they were on time, skilled workmen, cleaned up every speck of dirt and most importantly took great care of my home. They wasted no time in completing the repairs, what I thought would take a week they finished in two days. Their singing while working down in the crawlspace was hilarious to me up above working in my office. Let me not forget Joe Kashner, our engineer/consultant who explained what we needed to do to fix the home properly for the long term. No high-pressure sales pitch, he just explained what we needed to repair in simple terms and communicated it to the repair team. There were no surprises during the repair which was a relief and I believe that was in part due to his careful assessment of the situation. The work itself is amazing. The beams they added, the floor they repaired and most impressive is my newly encapsulated crawlspace. Itâ s immaculate. My crawlspace looks as good if not better than any picture of an encapsulated crawl space Iâ ve seen in any advertising for any company. Their work is that good and itâ s worth every penny. AFS may not be the cheapest company for this type of repair but the work they provided us was impeccable and worth the price. Mike, Brady, Chris and Joe, thank you for repairing our home and putting our mind at ease for the long term.

AFS of Chattanooga exceeded our expectations waterproofing our basement and encapsulating our crawlspaces and fixing a leaning wall. Taylor Fox, Donald Dease and Cody Britton were professional and knowledgeable on the job. Also, Chase Griffith, the Certified Field Inspector took the time to do a thorough inspection, analysis and presentation. Everyone did an excellent job answering all our questions and concerns. We highly recommend AFS of Chattanooga.

The AFS team of Taylor Fox, Cody Brittan and Donald Dease did an absolutely awesome job. They arrived on time, went right to work, and knew exactly what each was doing. Like an oiled machine. They brought any problems or concerns to my attention that was not covered under the original work order so that I could make a timely and correct decision as to what to do. They treated our church basement as if they were working on their own personal home. They left the basement as clean as they found it. We could not be more pleased with their work, and will definitely call on them again if we have any more foundation work that we need to have done. The whole AFS team are pros from start to finish.

Ovy , Spirit and Clayton are the best ! They were on time , kept us up to date on the process and answered all our questions. Weâ re very pleased with the work and very happy we called AFS!!

We previously used AFS to encapsulate our utility garage/basement area and recently used them again to install 6 floor supports. Ovy Thompson, Clayton Cox, and Spirit Ettesvold were the team that came for this job. They were on time, explained everything and did an amazing job. We will definitely use AFS again if the need arises.

William Jamerson, Clay Graham, and Benjamin Esparze were professional and did an excellent job. Would reccomend to anyone who has moisture issues in their crawlspace.

John, Orvy, and Ivan did an excellent job installing supports for our floor joists and foundation. They were on time, worked diligently, and finished almost exactly when they said they would at the start. Excellent crew, and good service.

The crew Mike Truelove, Brady Webster, Chris Smith did a professional job installing drainage system and incapacitated under floor area of our home. The crew finished job on time and was clean and friendly and enjoyed watching them perform their tasks.ð  Â

First off, I'll admit that I was not certain the repair was as critical as it was; and, I thought the estimate was really high and not within our budget.... but, when the inspector patiently and carefully showed us the damage and explained everything to us, I felt we definitely needed to make the repairs. They installed wall anchors, drain trench and pump, and wall waterproofing. The team that came and performed the work were remarkable! These young guys...John Stepp, Alex Fernandez, and Ivan Goldston were on time, worked steadily through the entire day, finishing up late in the day. They welcomed me being a bit nosey and helped me understand what they were doing at each step of the way. I've met a lot of repair service persons in my day and I count these three and the inspector as some of the most professional, warm, knowledgeable, and conscientious workers ever. Hey AFS leadership, I hope you know what you've got in this crew!

AFS did a great job for us, we had old insulation removed, a drainage system and pump installed, and a crawlspace encapsulation done. John Brandon did the inspection and he did a good job explaining everything and going back and forth with pricing for everything. The crew was Earle Gamble and Noah Cruz and they did a great job, cleaned everything up, and had it all done in 3 days. Would highly recommend!

We had requested a quote for basement water proofing and when we did the quote included new gutters which was a total surprise due to the low cost. Jeff Stewart and Christian Rudd did an excellent job and are two very hardworking individuals. They stayed well past dark to complete as much work as possible. They walked the house with my husband and explained what would be best for our drainage and worked hard with only one break all day! The next day when they returned they took time to complete the job and cleaned everything up and we couldnâ t tell they had been here. Their product is very high quality and improved the appearance of our home. I highly recommend AFS and crew for any gutter needs!

My AFS crew Mike Truelove, Brady Webster and Chris Smith were great. They were professional, courteous, and took the time to explain anything I asked about. The crawl space under my house has always been a scary place that I would never ever go. Now that the crew has completed the drainage system, the floor supports and encapsulation, everything is so clean and bright, I may venture under there and admire their work. I will definitely suggest to all my friends and family to use AFS for all their foundation needs.
