Very Good! Technician performed a very thorough cleaning and inspection of our fireplace/chimney. Will definitely use this provider again and will recommend them to anyone needing similar service.

Ashbusters tech came on time and did a good job cleaning fireplace. Tech was courteous and did a good job.

They were prompt and verry very nice. Pleasant and friendly. They wore shoe covers to prevent bringing in any dirt into my house. They were very tolerant of my very friendly Doberman, who tried to help them. They treated her very nicely and she loved theml. I asked about some issues with smoke staining my wall above the fireplace and they came up with a solution. I have asked them to come back to install the smoke wall that was recommended. .No only did they do a great job of what they were here to do, one of them helped me to set up my newly acquired Surface tablet/computer! I really appreciated his help I would have them come to treat my chimney without even looking into another provider. Superb!

He was courteous, professional and answered all my questions about the functioning parts of the gas logs and pilot light. I would recommend him and this company again without hesitation.

They showed up on time, started working on top of a nice rug, without any thought to moving it aside, or placing plastic/tarp/any covering over it. The pricing on repairs changed during the conversation, which made it evident that repairs didn't cost as much as they were proposing. They also refused to inspect the other half of my chimney. This seems semi-reasonable, except that they said the cost to inspect it would be more than the cost of the other chimney... "because we're already out here, it will cost more." There is no logic to this at all. I just got the sense that the company & representative was super shady. I felt like they were being dishonest in their pricing, and I felt that they were trying to charge me more than normal price for their services. I got a second assessment and the price was significantly cheaper, as in thousands cheaper. Very unpleased. This was my first experience with Angie's List as well, and I'm unlikely to use the site again. Maybe it's great, but I'm not going to put more time or money into finding out. Angie's List- you should vet your providers that offer specials much more thoroughly.

They were early (but thanked me for working with them). Covered work area with cloth and performed service as advertised. I did move my own coffee table back into place after they left, but everything else was done to better than satisfaction. They gave me an honest appraisal of my fireplace and did not try to sell me unnecessary add-ons. I will definitely use them again. I had used them several times in the past and was super excited to see the Angie's coupon! What a bargain!

unable to rate service techs service - was not present - someone else scheduled appointment directly with service tech and let him onto property. did not receive any comments or complaints. cost was about half price with coupon/promotion an unbeatable deal! office was to mail me report (not email), but had to call office few days later to get report via mail. - they dropped the ball here. this is reason gave an overall B rating.

Derek was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. He game me tips about the best way to maintain my fireplace gas logs. He cleaned up and the fireplace looked better than before he arrived.

Serviceman showed up within the allotted window. Explained what was going to happen. Performed the service. He showed me and explained the issues with my fireplace and chimney. He explained that I needed further service and gave me an estimate but did not pressure me to buy anything. He completely cleaned up the mess and there were no hidden charges.

We couldn't be happier with their work. Again, very professional and personable. They recommended a ventless set because they felt it looked better than the vented logs, and we agreed. On time and no surprises. Highly recommended!

The first person had to reschedule because of some family emergency. The second person who came out was very professional and seemed very thorough. He climbed the rough and checked out the fireplace. Make sure you understand the coupon doesn't include removing the old wood.

Went well. Haven't got to check it out yet. Will try as soon as weather permits.

I had a concern with the damper in my chimney. Bought the deal for a chimney sweep and inspection. They scheduled the service promptly. When they arrived, I told them about the damper issue and they recommended a replacement due to age. After sweeping and inspecting the chimney, they identified a potential problem, although said it was only a problem if we ever convert the fireplace back to wood (rather than gas). My only concern is that they arrived about 30 minutes past their scheduled arrival time.

The workers were very thorough and hard working. The technician decided to wait until the next day to apply the sealer because it looked like rain was coming. The area was well cleaned up afterwards. I found the technician very pleasant and explained the process clearly.

Company is good about calling to confirm appointment and give an estimated time of arrival. Certified chimney sweep arrived on time (even called to see if they could come a little early). Cleaning and inspection was completed within about 45 minutes. Pictures of chimney and needed repairs were presented at the end of the inspection, along with an email with description of needed repairs and estimate of costs.

Everything was good--service, communication, professionalism, punctuality, etc.

I can't afford all that he recommended. I only wanted to find out if I could install a stove.

Clyde and Michael H replaced our chimney cap and boy does it look great. I asked for them to take a photo of the "before" and "after" and they didn't have a problem with doing that for me at all. I think the cap on there was from when this home was originally built 20 years ago! Really friendly and courteous guys. Arrived promptly and were appropriately dressed. I REALLY appreciate when workers have shirts on that clearly displays the company name.
