Description of Work: The service tech inspected and serviced our gas logs and replaced the sand and embers in the fireplace. The gas logs give a much more pleasant and full flame now. Although a full chimney inspection was not included in the Angie's List "deal", he took a picture of the chimney looking up from the fireplace. I could tell that the pipes were clean and shiny. That gave me confidence that a cleaning and inspection was not needed as it was obvious this chimney had never burned a real-wood fire.

Description of Work: A man showed up to clean our chimneys and give us an estimate of repairing the cap on one. He looked, gave an estimate, never cleaned anything and said he would call to set up a time for repairs. He charged us the cleaning cost and we never heard from him again. Two calls to the office were answered by a receptionist and were told someone would call. We never heard back.

Description of Work: tightened screws outside. cleaned the glass front. rearranged some of the "bricks" Very courteous and friendly. Derrick showed me how to set the pilot. First time I have had a gas fireplace. Real cozy and warm. Love it!

Description of Work: They cleaned and inspected the two story chimney. I'd moved all the furniture away from the fireplace before they arrived. They covered the floor with a drop cloth and left the place clean. They honored the senior discount listed (if using print the page). I would gladly recommend them.

Description of Work: Replaced the broken flue. They men showed up exactly at the time they told me. The service did not take long at all. They did a great job! I have enjoyed using my fireplace again this winter season.

Description of Work: We bought an Angie's list coupon for gas fireplace maintenance and, per instruction, listed 3 possible dates for completion of the work. More than a month has passed and we have never heard from them. I really would have thought someone would have tried to contact us by now. Very disappointed and I'm out $99.

Description of Work: He cleaned, adjusted and tested our fireplace log setup. He will replace the logs later. I agreed to have the company rebuild the chimney in the spring.

Description of Work: They did a good job. My appointment was at noon and they rang the doorbell at noon! They were also careful not to make a mess and explained what they did. My only problem and concern with Angie's List "deals" is that the supplier would only schedule the service three weeks out although they had openings earlier. I needed to pay when the service is purchased. Obviously working their cashflow. Just something to consider.
