Ashbusters has an excellent office staff, however their discounted rate (big deal) was still more then the everyday rate of the service i have chosen to use.

Tech showed up on time and was very good. Cleaned out gas fireplace and inspected everything. Tech was courteos and cleaned up after he was done.

Truly the best service in the area!!! Great customer service, quick scheduling, professional technicians and fantastic follow-up! I would highly recommend them!!!

They came out and gave me an estimate on repairs for my chimney that was leaking into the fireplace. They gave me an estimate of $1500 for repairs, but also let me know that for $20 they would install a chimney cap that would keep the water out.. So thats the option I went with and they came and did it while i was at work and sent me a bill which was great because I didn't have to take time off work.. Very nice people and I liked their honestly that there was a much cheaper option to fix my problem. Would definitely use them again.

While onsite, they discovered that the dampers were jammed shut due to construction debris from a remodel project. They managed to get one damper open to gain access to the chimney itself. It took about 15 minutes of working with the damper to get it open. Since the game-plan was to seal off the chimney stacks, I didn't expect the entire chimney to be cleaned, but I did expect the firebox to be cleaned to remove the creosote film. Maybe this is a standard cleaning, but I could've saved my $111.00 and cleaned it out better myself with a wire brush, shop vacuum, and 30 minutes of time. I have not contacted them to "make it right" but I have hired another chimney sweep service to come clean the chimney's thoroughly. I wish I could post pictures to share so that you can determine if I'm being too critical of what I paid for.

The two man crew that came out were fast and professional. They were very careful to not make any mess and to explain what how and why they were doing. There was a lot of buildup in the chimney pipe and because of Ashbusters I feel much safer using the furnace now!

I cannot say enough good things about Ashbusters! We have used them for about 4 years and I would never use anyone else. From the very first phone call to schedule the appointment, I am always treated with courtesy and cheerfulness. The appointment is made and I never have to wonder if they will show up or not. They are ALWAYS on time. The crew is exactly the same: kind and professional. There is never any mess to clean up. I can also trust their knowledge to advise me. For example, this year he noticed we had a couple of creosote fires without my having to mention it. He said next year we should get a new interior pipe. He also said the reason it happened was because our wood was not completely seasoned enough, and it was not properly stacked and stored. I would say that because he took the time to care, we have avoided a potential disaster this winter.

They were professional, provided suggestions, cleaned out the chimneys thoroughly, eliminated most of the smoke smell that was in the house.

I'm renovating an approximately 90 year old house, which has a fireplace, probably for burning coal originally, which had been covered up in the wall when I bought the house. Originally it opened up on both sides to heat two rooms, but at some point someone had bricked it up in the middle and put a pipe on one side to vent the gas water heater from the basement -- which probably didn't work terribly well, since the chimney didn't have a cap and was blocked up with who knows how many years (decades?) of bird, um, stuff. The firebox walls and floor were also in terrible shape. Mark and Cody did a fantastic job getting it all cleaned up and rebuilt. They came out the first day to re-do the fireplace; they demoed the middle wall, got rid of the old vent pipe, cleaned out all the "stuff", poured a new floor, and rebuilt the firebox walls. They came back out a second day (after waiting for the rain to stop) and finished cleaning out the chimney, re-tucked all the mortar on the outside chimney, sealed off the top, and re-flashed the chimney to the roof. Everything they did was done very well and I couldn't be happier. The firebox and the exterior chimney both look great, and I'm looking forward to having them back in a couple of months when I can afford to put in the direct-vent gas insert.

Did a good job on the chimney. Cleaned up the floor after they were finished and looked as if they were not even here. Dryer vent cleaning was ok. Wish they would have cleaned the dryer also. When they pushed the dryer back into place, they split the aluminum vent and the dryer was blowing hot air into the room instead of outside.

They were very good. It was easy to get a hold of them on the phone. They showed up and worked quickly. They didn’t try to get us use additional services. They figured out what we needed and took care of it. They were very professional. They delivered what was expected.

They did a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior of the chimney.

Called Ashbusters to check chimney which needed repair. Was pleased that they responded immediately, visited the property to determine what work needed to be done and discussed the needs with me. Also pleased that the description of the work was clear and I was presented with clear choices with comments that helped me make a wise decision. The technicians who returned to do the work were equally helpful and offered advice on caring for the fireplace. The clean-up was quick and thorough and with an extra touch that made the fireplace much more attractive than it was. I was very pleased with the workers and the work done.

They were prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and cleaned up after the job was done. We were pleased with the service and would use them again.

They didn't show up at our appointment time and I didn't hear from anyone. I called the company and there was no indication they were going to let me know there was a problem because it didn't seem they knew until I told them. The guys arrived about an hour or so late (don't remember exactly). They were friendly, professional, and apologetic. I can't see up in the chimney to know for sure but I'm assuming they did their job. They spoke to me about what they saw on top and showed me photos. They left the fireplace clean.
