Very professional. Used a camera on a cable to inspect and show me the issues with my chimney. Discussed possible solutions. I would highly recommend them!

The service was excellent. They were efficient and there was no mess from the chimney cleaning. I was told that the chimney was missing a cap and that water has come down the chimney, rusted the flue and there was evidence of moisture in the fireplace. The technician was going to send me an estimate to correct the problems. However, it's been 10 days, one phone call to the office when I was assured it would be send immediately, but so far I haven't heard from them. So I got the name of another company from friends and have called to see if they can check my chimney and give me an estimate. Ashbusters may just miss out on the repairs.

I purchased a coupon 11/8/13 through Angies List. We initially had a terrible experience. Coupon asked for convenient dates, which I asked for three possible dates in the following week. When the company called to schedule service, the earliest date was 11/26. Scheduled for 11/26 between 11:30 and 12:30. At 12:30 received a call from the tech, his truck broke down, they would need to cancel and reschedule. Rescheduled for 11/30, 12:30 to 1:30, they were a no call/no show. I left two messages with the company on their voice mail. It was Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. Called Angie's List CS the following Monday, they in turn contacted the company. The owner of the company called me, apologized for all the inconvenience, offered to refund my money and perform the service at no charge. I accepted his offer, thanked him for doing the right thing. We rescheduled for Sat, Dec 7, 8:30 to 9:30, the tech was on time, very professional, did a wonderful job and I would recommend Ashbusters to anyone looking for a chimney sweep company in Nashville. The initial impression I had was not good but the company stepped in, took the initiative to make things right and I ended up a satisfied customer who will definitely use them again.

Got the inspection on a deal from AL. The inspector called and asked to arrive early, which fit in to our schedule perfectly. He was quick and professional with the inspection, taking great care not to track dirt into our home or leave a mess around the fireplace. I was very impressed with the service and plan to use Ashbusters again. Would definitely recommend to others without reservation.

Did a poor job of cleaning chimney and fireplace.

When they returned, we did not get good news in that they explained our stove was very old and was a fire hazard. They strongly recommended that we not use it and provided options with what they could to do put the fireplace in safe working order. The options made sense, and we will likely contact Ashbusters when we are ready to move forward. I especially appreciated the fact that while they could not perform the purchased service, they were willing to work with us to apply what we bought towards services that met our needs.

Inspected and cleaned chimney, it was a positive experience

Ashbusters was excellent. We felt Ashbusters was honest with us about the repair needed and performed that repair faster and for less money than another estimate we had received.

They were very nice but it looked to me as though they kept telling me that the main part of this was an inspection and when I really paid for an inspection and a cleaning, they said I didn't need to have a cleaning, they didn't clean and then so when I used my fireplace it smelled for the next 2 weeks after using it. I think I'm going to use someone else who would actually clean it. It seemed to me to be a sales ditch, they were very nice, they showed me everything but I was very dissatisfied. It looked like it needs one and I thought since I've paid for it, I should get it.

It took a long time to get them in. One issue I had with them is they didn't call me back after I signed up on Angie's List and after a week, I called them and they said they don't call people back and they don't know why Angie's List tells people that. They did the job well once it was complete. It just took a long time to get it scheduled and get them in to do it. Other than getting him scheduled and getting him in, the guy was certainly professional, efficient and effective, did the job quickly, and I was very satisfied with it. It was a good price.

The service turned out fine. Scheduling was easy, I called them and told them I purchased the coupon and they were able to schedule me within the week. Their clean up following the service was good.

I was told that I should not wait so long (7 years was the last cleaning). I would definitely use AshBusters again.

It turned out alright. They seem to clean it well. They found out we have some couple of issues with it which we haven't gone through a repair. They were nice, informative, and respectful.

Mark was the tech. He worked expediently, was very knowledgeable, honest & extremely efficient & clean. He had a correct answer to any question I had and educated me on his trade. He also connected me with an expert in another area of need. Mark is an exemplary employee and Ashbusters is fortunate to have him. Because of this service, I will use this company for any service they provide & I need.

They were very professional and thorough.

I have two chimneys and thought the deal would cover both but it didn’t. The service turned out fine. They told me the chimney was not connected inside the wall which I did not understand how the smoke would come into the house without the previous owner seeing it. He told me my piping was dislodged so I cannot use my fireplace and that I need to replace but that the previous owners had used both fireplaces. He said they would have to install a new insert and correct the piping. Scheduling was ok; they were able to get me an appointment within a week of my call. They did a fair job with cleaning up; they left some soot on my floor but I was able to get out easily. I tried calling the manager regarding my chimney being dislodged and the manager never called me back after three tries.

The office followed up to confirm the appointment a couple of days in advance and the technician called to let us know an estimated time of arrival about an hour beforehand. Everyone we talked to was courteous. The technician was on time and very professional. He put down a protective dropcloth and I could see him slowing down as he swept the chimney before the dust had a chance to move out into the living room. He showed us pictures of the deteriorating condition of our chimney cap explained the benefits of the cap Ashbusters manufactured. Everything was clear and understandable. We chose to replace the cap. We are glad we chose Ashbuster?s and appreciate Angie?s List for guiding us to quality suppliers and service companies. I will continue to do business with Ashbuster?s.

They were great. On time and very knowledgeable. We had just bought our house and didn't know hardly anything about our fireplace and how it works. They told us of some things we need to prepare in the future but overall our fireplace is ready to use. A great experience. We will use Ashbusters again.

We were very pleased with Ashbusters, particularly with Mark Harris and Dalton. Very professional, careful around furniture, covered carpet carefully, careful with equipment. Were very pleasant and courteous, explained the results of the inspection as well as alternatives in curing problem areas. Hopefully, they will be coming back in January to remedy some areas of concern.

Professional and helpful. Advised of a potential problem which I had resolved by my builder. Without their inspection, I would not have known about the dangerous issue.

On or about November 26 I received the email from Angie's list offering a $111 chimney cleaning from Ashbusters. I purchased it on November 28, but did not set a service date. I contacted the company on December 3. The first opening in their schedule was December 23. This is their busy time of year, I understand, but waiting for 3 weeks to save $68 was not acceptable to me and canceled the order. So what I would caution Angie's list subscribers about is that the savings comes with a price of time. I may use this provider in the future, but for now I will look for others performing the same service and if the wait is similar, will postpone the cleaning and not use my fireplace until next year.

Date of appointment was 11/20/2013--Heater insert did not arrive to Ashbuster Co. until the following day. Heater insert and chimney lined on 11/21/2013. Ashbuster installer was professional, courtious, and helpful with the do's and don't's of a wood heater. They did not leave a mess.

It went very well. I am waiting for them to come back to do another service for me. I think it was good. They were timely. The price was good.
