Technician was very professional and friendly, unfortunately found evidence of prior chimney fires that made our chimney unsafe without major repairs. He provide quotes to fix the problem before leaving.

It was great! Scheduling the service was easy, the technician arrived on time, and he did a very good job with the cleaning and inspection. Furthermore, he provided helpful information on how to safely light the gas logs since I hadn't used the fireplace for a few years.

Cleaned chimney, made sure my chimney was in good condition, checked outside and inside. Provided repair recommendations. No hard sell, very polite and easy to work with. I am very happy with the service.

The guys were very polite and professional. They took the time to teach me exactly how to properly use my gas fireplace safely. I was very pleased and referred them to my mother in law and she had a great experience as well!!!

They did an excellent job. They are very fast and efficient with their work. Also very friendly and very attentive to customer satisfaction. Only very minor issue is that they arrived 45 minutes early for the last visit and did not call to let me know they were coming early. They did call on the previous visit.

It was good and I ended up with a brand new insert. They did a great job. They came and discovered that I had a chimney fire and my insurance paid for the new insert. I will use them again. They did the inspection in about an hour and they came back out another day to install the insert and fix the cracks in my chimney. They were really good helping me coordinate with my insurance company. The workers were all very courteous and cleaned up after themselves.

The tech, Kevin, was top rate. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I wish all service providers were this good!

Ashbusters was fantastic! My home was built in 1970, and at some point, someone stopped maintaining the masonry fireplace and installed gas logs. I much prefer a wood-burning fireplace, so when my chimney sweep indicated that we could do that, I was thrilled. Unfortunately, the lack of maintenance meant significant repairs: new heat shield, new damper (the old one fell apart as soon as he touched it; it was that rusty!), and some maintenance on the bricks. But it was worth every penny: I used it all winter, and there is just nothing - *nothing* - like having a roaring fire on a freezing night.

Went well. Showed pictures of what they found, recommendations and not pressure to act now.

They were good. I have used them before and they have always been really well. I would have to say that this last time, they didn't go up on the roof and check the chimney like they normally do and I didn't think to ask them about that. They may not do that anymore. He was extremely pleasant and answered all my questions. He was very nice and very professional.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out pretty good. They were on time and friendly. I was able to save money on my chimney sweep. They did a pretty good job. I did not pay them anything extra other than the big deal purchase.

I was really satisfied with the service that I purchased, $100 for a sweep and inspection. That was worth every cent and I would do it again in the future. The UP-SELLS though for all the repairs that "need" to be made were CRAZY EXPENSIVE! I don't have the estimate in front of me at the moment, but it was thousands and thousands of dollars worth of potential "safety hazards". I certainly won't be doing a large portion of the work that they recommended and I definitely will shop around any work that we eventually decide to have done. I marked "B" on the price because I feel that we got a good price on the sweep & inspection, but if I had to comment on the prices of their estimate for additional work, I would lean more toward a "C" or a "D". I was REALLY SURPRISED at how EXPENSIVE chimney maintenance can be! (In all fairness though, this was my first experience with chimney work, so I really have no basis for comparison. I just know that it was a LOT of darn money!)

Josh the technician was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. He had recommendations for a needed chase cover. Even though my chimney and fireplace was in great shape, I had not used it for 30 years and I wanted assistance in cleaning it out and checking it out before using my new gas logs. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them!

Ashbusters couldn't have been better! Very prompt, efficient, neat and courtious. The work was done almost a year ago, and even after this unbelievable winter and many fires in the fireplace, everything seems as good as new.

Josh did a professional He explained everything he had done very well. I did have a small problem and have already scheduled appt. for Josh to come back to repair it.

I scheduled the deal within a few weeks of purchasing it. They came out for the inspection and ended up coming out a second time to clean out the inside of the fireplace. I also had them install some gas logs and paint inside the fireplace. The service was fine and they did a good job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went great. He did a good job. He was thorough and he didn't make a mess of our house. He was in and out. The price was fine.

It worked out fine. They seemed to do a good job. The inspection was okay.

They fixed the leak on my chimney and it stopped at most of the time but it still has a slight leak so I have to contact them again. I think it has a guarantee for several years otherwise they are very good too. They seem to be professional, they got most of it but it still has a slight leak when it rains so hard.

Very clean and prompt we would surely use them again. The tech. was friendly and answered the questions I had. Thank for the great service.

I simply showed him my chimney and fireplace. He was able to zero in on what needed to be done. I learned a lot from his co-worker Mark Stoner, too. Make sure you learn everything you can about chimneys, flues, smoke chambers, different types of flue liners, etc. This will give you confidence in your professional and a vocabulary you can communicate with.

It turned out okay. When I signed up the deal they said that they will contact me on the same time but they didn't reach out. I called them a couple of times so they showed up and did the work. They were decent guys and I felt like it was a good deal. We went above and beyond because it was a complicated set up so there was a $40 extra on top of that.

It went well. He did a very thorough inspection using cameras that went the entire length of chimney. He showed me everything on a monitor. I have gas logs so I thought I would not have any issues but there are some spaces in brick and some crumbling in mortor. .i don't think I'll be using fireplace for a while as these repairs would be rather costly

Have used Ashbusters before and was very satisfied. Had come time to have our woodstove/chimney inspected and my daughter had moved into a home with a fireplace which had never been inspected. We called Ashbusters to set up appointment for ourselves and saw the special they had going on for $111 for fireplace inspection, so we included that also. Matt and his helper were very prompt, professional and thorough in their service. We have a masonry issue and Matt made suggestions to have some things corrected and we also have a couple of items that need to be repaired. As far as my daughter's fireplace inspection, it went just as well as ours. There are a couple of issues which need to be addressed there and we will be contacting Ashbusters in the very near future to take care of all open issues. Would highly recommend them for any fireplace/woodstove needs.
